Was a great find while out exploring the area next door (Goose Island State Park). We Googled good eats nearby and agreed to stop at 35 & Main Bar and Grill. We walked in and were greeted right away. Everyone was nice and by the time we left my niece made friends with everyone or at least told everyone hi 👋 🙃 The food was good my niece loved the salsa 😋 it got a wow 😍 my mom got the shrimp basket and the shrimp 🍤 😋 ☺ ...I had the chicken fried steak 😋 👌 😍 and Aubrey had a corn dog and it was another wow....if passing by and hungry I suggest you stop and try you will leave full and happy.

This place is absolutely amazing. We were driving to Rockport Texas and stopped here on the way. The ambience, service and food were excellent. Lemonade even though premade wasn’t overly sweet which I liked. My husband had sweet-tea and he also mentioned the same. We stopped by for lunch. My husband had the chicken fried chicken. It comes with a toast, side salad and choice of another side and gravy. Being a vegetarian I only had a couple options. I chose the vegetarian flatbread where you can pick your favorite toppings. I picked mushrooms and onions. Really good flatbread pizza. My husband said the chicken fried chicken was also really a good portion. They also have some salads and appetizers or mini bites. Will definitely stop there while driving by.

I had chicken fingers, hubby had chicken fried steak. Food came out nice and hot. The chicken fried steak had more breading around edges than steak and the bottom was oily. Chicken fingers and fries was good. The gravy had too much black pepper. All in all the food was ok. The main problem we had was our waitress staying on her phone. Every time she walked by she was on her phone and never came back to check on us! My husband ran out of tea, our friend ran out of his drink. The hot sauce bottle was dirty. Because I got a basket they assumed I didn't need silverware. Don't think we will be going back.

Great food, great presentation, great service. Even the little salad I got was all fresh. Very impressive in a small (one blinking light) town. Cowboy Burger and a Chicken fried steak. Potato was delicious loaded of course. We will be back.

This place is like a Ma and Pops hole in the wall location. First time trying this place, Great food, great music, and great vibes. The Wings and chicken stripes were made fresh. Big crunchy wings with lots of sauce and fries!! 🍗🤤❤️ The fried pickles were also delicious. If anyone is in Tivoli, Texas I will definitely recommend this place! If we are ever in town will definitely come back here again!

This was a quiet place that is probably very busy during televised sports events. The chicken fried chicken was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We got the half order and it was cooked great and a large size!! The cheese sticks are delicious too!! The next time we are traveling that way, we will be stopping in again!

First time here...great service..cool environment...I had the loaded Texas fries, ton of food, awesome I recommend the jalapeños but up to you😀 . The menu has a great variety..will be back😎

Stopped in on our way through town, obviously a brand new restaurant still working out their service flow but everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had the grilled chicken salad; vegetables were fresh, and the dressing was good, but the chicken was amazing! It was flavorful, tender, and cubed then grilled so it was browned on all sides. That chicken would be so good in other dishes, hopefully they add something like a quesadilla to the menu soon. My husband had the pattymelt and said the hamburger patties and onions were both cooked perfectly. We shared the fried pickles which were also good; they are "thick batter" style fried pickles which isn't our favorite because of the texture, but the flavor was excellent. We debated between 4 and 5 stars for this review, but couldn't come up with any reason that we wouldn't go back...so 4.5 stars?

Food was delicious. Patty melt, burger, shrimp, fries and onion rings. Didn't get a picture of the shrimp they were gone so fast!
