I have been seeing doctor Gonzalez for almost a year. I enjoy my service I receive from Dr. Gonzalez, however his staff has been very unhelpful on several occasions. I have had several problems with getting my prescriptions set into my mail order provider. The staff comes across very unhelpful and as If they inconvenienced. Which is a serious issue when you are dealing with someone mental health. A show of concern and customer service go along way. It disappointing when you have to jump through hoops to get your prescription which was prescribed to you by your doctor.

I was not happy with the staff. I was on telehealth with Geoffry Gonzales and after 25 minutes I just closed out. They will not get paid and you all keep bothering me. I am going to the Medical Board Of Texas to report Tracey Cawthorne and Geoffy Gonzales. Wonder why the receptionist for Tracey Cawthorn said Cawthorne did not work here. There is alot of wolves in sheep clothing here.

Read the reviews about bad customer service. These women that work in the office are unprofessional and unhelpful. I have repeatedly been mistreated by Laura (office manager) and Christina (I believe that was her name). I continue to go there because I love my psychiatrist, Mr. Hollis. He has been an epic help and I trust him. However, almost every time I have a horrible interaction with the office staff. I also continue to go because they take my insurance and I do not want to have to reschedule and go through the complete process again. I just want people to understand that the office staff should really work on their customer service- and by that I mean treating people kindly, talking to people the way they would want to be talked to.

Highly Recommended My experience at this clinic has been excellent. I was referred to urgent behavioral health care through my primary care provider. I couldn’t be more grateful. Quick Reliable Consistent Convenient Thorough!! Five Stars I am very confident with my Counselor and my Psychiatrist! Im only giving 3 stars because Melissa Holmes has been an absolute angel with me and my traumas. She has been able to help me and understands my condition. She saved me! The practice it self ( front desk people ) are the worse. And they even charge if you want a copy of your records THEY SELL YOU YOUR OWN RECORDS LIKE WTH!

I’ve been with them for coming up to two years. And I was referred to this office by my primary doctor. And I truly appreciate them.They have always been professional and have such nice staff. Definitely feel I am well taken care of. They respond fast and I love how they send the reminders of my appointments. It’s always so smooth. Even during covid. The process has still been smooth. And they even referred me to a great counselor too. They certainly gained my trust from the get go and give me hope.

Be very careful!!! They will automatically schedule you for your next appointment without checking with you first. Even if you are signed up to be notified via email or text, chances are you won't be (dont even try to address this issue with the office, the rude woman who always answers the phone will run over top of you and not listen, I had to contact a manager). The result is that you will miss this appointment scheduled without your knowledge and have to pay a $100 late fee! It seems like they would hire office staff that actually listen to clients since they are a mental health facility. Craziness! I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror if I spoke to people like this, but then again, I'm from Michigan, where customer service is completely different than it is here down South. I miss Daniel, the only polite office staff member I ever interacted with. Fortunately, my provider listens, that's why I stay with them.

The staff are the issue. They have discontinued care do to incorrect billing on their part. It's a shame because the nurse practitioner seems to really care. I will never allow staff to make me feel worse, just because their lives are filled with drama. Peace 🕊️🙏

I’m writing this review as a spouse of someone who sought care at Urgent Behavioral Health Care. My spouse was in a urgent behavioral care situation where their medications were not super working and were taking them inconsistently. However, they were able to get a rather quick appointment with a psychiatrist to get the medication dosage straightened out and schedule follow ups. I think they went there three times and then were guided to follow up with their PCM. I think this is a good resource to have in the city as scheduling /finding a psychiatrist without having one already or establishing care is a lengthy and sometimes overwhelming process. They did mention parking was metered, your appointment is more like a suggestion and you may have to wait for a bit, but I’m so glad my spouse was able to get their medications sorted instead of waiting to establish care with a psychiatrist as a patient and before it became a more then urgent thing or emergency situation.

I have been seeing Dr. Geoffrey Gonzales for almost 6 years now and have had a lot of ups and downs that he has helped me through. I am very appreciative of all their hard work. I recently needed to go on short term disability and Laura Gonzalez helped me out with my paperwork. She was very amazing and had my paperwork done in a timely fashion.

I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care I received at Urgent Behavioral Health Care. The staff are kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their approach to treatment is truly holistic, and their expertise allowed me to make significant progress towards my mental health goals. I can say that this place has changed my life for the better, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking thoughtful, compassionate mental health care. Thank you Laura and Monique.

They NPC here have always been so helpful here and have always try to help me in finding the right treatment plan for me. I even spoke the the office manager and she work with me just recently and help me on a situation that was out of my control due to get COVID. I definitely would recommend working with Hollis or Gonzales they are amazing and they really do care about their patients your not a number or a text book your a person to them. I recommend this place any day of the week. My bff also goes here and has no issues as well.

We had a helpful, attentive, compassionate and thorough intake and first visit. Front office was kind and efficient. Vanessa did a super intake. Dr Gonzales was fantastic. Ubhc is a great place with a helpful staff. Doctor Gonzalez is a kind and compassionate doctor. Counselor mercado is an amazing individual with wise advice and helpful techniques. Laura is a superb office manager. All three of these ladies need a raise!

Former patient of this place. Very glad i don't go here anymore. Ofc staff was BEYOND rude ! Read reviews w/ 1 star, because it will save you from making bad decision. Maybe they have new ofc staff since I was there, but one nice person working there unfortunately doesn't make up for the rest who aren't!!!!!

This Medical Practice is A1 I've been a patient here at Urgent Behavioral Health Care since August of 2020, and I cannot stress how much I adore Dr. Gonzales. He's knowledgeable in psychiatric treatment, but it's so much more than that. He actually LISTENS, and so many doctors in all fields do not do that. He isn't at all condescending, dismissive or patronizing of what you tell him, and he utilizes that in your treatment. He's truly a God send and I plan on  seeing him until he retires, lol. When I first enrolled/signed-up for treatment, it was easy and the staff was professional, helpful, and informative. Laura Gonzalez, whom is I believe the office manager, has been awesome. For example, I needed paperwork to submit to another doctor on a preferred time frame and even though I didn't rush her, the usual 5-7 business days turned into 2. I was impressed but most of all grateful. Really no matter what the issue or interaction, I've been satisfied. With Dr. Gonzales handling my medical needs, I feel safe and looked after. I can't recommend this practice enough. For me, it was everything I needed, and I am sure it would be for you too. ♡

The staff here are fabulous! I personally heard another patient yelling and even curse at them. They were professional the entire time. Not a job I would want - if you are late it’s not their fault you are not going to be seen. The policy is posted right there in the wall. They have always been very kind and helpful to me. Love my provider Monique Gonzalez. She listens to me and I am certainly doing much better. Support staff always make me laugh. And they were super helpful with getting me set up with telemed services - I’m an idiot on the computer and they walked me through step by step.

Office staff hangs up on patients then lies and makes you feel like your losing your mind. The Dr's are not the problem it's the people that answer the phone. When I called back the other secretary was all no she didn't hang up on you I watched. So then you watched and allowed her to hang up on and are coving up for her.

Laura M. Gonzalez is a wonderful physicists that listen to what I have to say and built a custom treatment plan for me. Not like others that nod there head and give you the standard drug regiment that fits the issue. I felt my voice was heard and with Dr. Gonzalez's expertise has helped me achieve a better state. The office staff is amazing! They got me all the information I need and keep me up to date on what going on with my prescriptions and handled all issues with the pharmacy not having them or changes same day. I have delt with many offices and Dr's with this by far being the best experience. Would recommend if you are looking for a 5 start treatment.
