They just called me to to see if I had the prior authorization approval that THEY already had. I have never received a prior authorization form. They request it, they receive it. They have done 2 previous procedures with this insurance company this in 2021 and prior authorization. The nurse, staff and their online system that doesn't work are all horrible!!!! The doctor is great, too bad he has to work with them. Guess I will just have to suffer because of their incompetence. BTW, I looked on BCBSTX website and when they received the Prior Auth in February 2021, it was good for 4 treatments till February 2022. Shows how INCOMPETENT THEY ARE.

This has to be the worst customer service that me and my wife have ever experienced. If I could give a negative rating, I would. They took months to be able to set her up for a Ultra Sound after dealing with pain and us consistently calling these people. Now they found a mass in her and they still can't get us results. They're treating this like it's not a big deal. I would recommend you find another Urologist because your life literally depends on it.

I had surgery and there are two different appointments set for my post-op and some confusion about which NP I should see. I called to get the issued resolved and the customer service rep. was so unprofessional and rude with me. She transferred me to have one of the schedulers to call me back and I left a message. I got a call back and she couldn’t seem to help me either, so proceeded to raise her voice and hung up on me. The doctors are so great but the customer service is the worse. I will be filing a complaint.

This place is legal extortion. Had to fight tooth and nail to get my own medical results because they refused to give me them if I didn’t pay 300$ upfront. 300$ for a phone call. The administrator named Denise treated me like I was garbage and was horrible throughout our brief interaction over the phone. I say brief because she tried to cut the phone call as short as possible. If you hate dealing with patients, you shouldn’t be in the medical profession. If they didn’t have a near monopoly on urology in this city, they wouldn’t be able to bleed their patients for all their money. Even if you have insurance, they list of insurance they accept is a grain of sand in comparison to the list of insurance they won’t accept. I compel everyone to refuse to go to this place if you can. I empathize with those whose only option is to go here.

Avoid this practice if you want accurate billing, diagnoses, or service of any kind. Been trying since March 2022 to correct a diagnosis code for accurate billing. Billing staff won't lift a finger, Nursing staff won't return messages, and attempts to speak to the Practice Manager are blocked. I asked billing to not send this account to collections because it will be paid when diagnoses are corrected. They refused even though I have been the only one trying to fix this. Very unethical business practices.

What an amazing doctor who clearly cares about his patients and their health. He removed 2 kidney stones for me today via Lithotripsy, and I feel so much better. He explained everything to me clearly which helped to ease my anxiety and go through the procedure with a positive attitude and clear mind. I trust Dr. Ghaffary whole heartedly and would recommend him to my loved ones. He is absolutely awesome! Thank you for helping me to feel better so that I can live my life to the fullest pain free.

My husband has tried to cancel his appointment and left messages to cancel appointment as we have moved to another city. Still getting text messages reminding of upcoming appointment. If you happen to read your reviews, please CANCEL Charles T Parr’s appointment.

I first called three days in a row to get an appointment and left messages with the person they directed me to. The next week, I called everyday, only got the voicemail, and no one has ever called back. Once, I got their answering service who told me to go into the office to set up an appointment. I said that is unacceptable and they hung up on me. Multiple calls, multiple messages left, and still no call back and no appointment. I later tried to use their online appointment scheduling. That didn’t work either because it doesn’t block out times when their office isn’t open. I scheduled an 8 am appointment only to show up (15 minutes before they want you to) only to find out they don’t actually open until 9. I have no idea how they stay in business because patients can’t be seen.

Dr.’s have been great, but office staff, specifically the woman you stand in line to check in & pay are horrid. Made appt. 6 months ago. Go in to office today and am told, “That NP doesn’t work here anymore. We have to reschedule you”. Then she said they attempted to contact me by phone on 8/14/23 but were unable to reach me. Bologna!!! I showed her my phone call records. No contact from that office AT ALL. No missed call, no received call, no voicemail, no text. Whoever SAID they tried to contact me lied thru their teeth AND documented that lie in my file. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the receptionist or whatever her title is, could not possibly have cared less and acted like I was being a pain. Then I asked for documentation that I came in and was turned away and rescheduled so that when I have to ask off A MONTH from now for my appt. I have proof that I was where I said I was. I asked her to email it to me. She did not. These people without medical licenses need some serious retraining! Completely unprofessional!

I've been a Referral Coordinator for 2 years and never have I met someone this rude, my mom called to set up an appointment and spoke with the referral lady to see if her referral went through and she was just plain horrible, my elderly mother couldn’t get a word in. They need to consider restaffing, reading all these comments something seriously needs to be done. Management needs to take a step in and see what the problem is, not good business at all. Very, very unprofessional.

Extremely disappointed with this office. Communication is very poor and ethics are questionable. 1. My husband was approved and CHARGED for a procedure without the doctor's confirmation he was a candidate. 2. When the procedure could not be performed because my husband was not a candidate, the office promised a call back to work out a refund. They never called. 3. After numerous unanswered calls (except for the extension to "make a payment"), we went in person to request the refund on August 22. The office informed us refunds would not be sent out until some time in September. Could not specify when. Use caution when scheduling any services with this office. They are unreliable and are inconsiderate of your time and money. TLDR: Office charges for services not performed and won't refund money until up to 6 weeks later.

I can't praise Dr. Jason Fisher enough! he performed a partial nephrectomy back in November 2022. He was very kind and professional. He explains everything to you and listens to your concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher.

I was extermely pleased with the service that I received from the CC Urology Group. I had two surgical procedures performed by Dr. Jason Fisher. During the course of several months, I had various dealings with the staff and various medical professionals. Not only was the staff polite they were efficient. They booked my appointments quickly and were very accommodating. During the time leading up to the surgical procedures I often met with both Armando De La Garza (nurse practitioner) and Dr. Fisher. They both answered all my questions and were very informative of what I could expect before and after the surgery. After the two surgical procedures they made sure that I was aware of what to expect. They both listened very respectfully to my concerns and answered all my questions. I had never been in the hospital before and when these health issues appeared I was advised on what needed to be done and how it would be done. I am extremely pleased, ecstatic would be a more correct word, with the results. These two procedures changed my life, and I am very thankful to Dr. Fisher and his staff for their expertise in dealing with my health issues.

I just had kidney surgery a week ago I came to get a check up and the lady kicked me out the office and said we're not open till 9 it was 8:30. I shouldn't have to stand 30 mins after just having major kidney surgery a week ago. Your office staff have no manners. Get better staff or find someone else to run it!!

The staff phone etiquette is TERRIBLE. First of all, it is so hard to even get to talk to someone on the phone. This office is so quick to hang up on you and gives so much attitude on the phone. It's ridiculous! To bad they don't have any competitor's in Corpus Christi. I'd switch in a heartbeat. Do better Corpus Christi Urology Group!!

Hopefully nothing goes wrong and you don't need to go back for a follow up or heaven forbid you need medicine. Two stars instead of one because they answered the phone; rudely but still answered. My husband had to call for a follow up appointment and they said they'd call the RX into our pharmacy. We waited at the pharmacy until 6pm. Nothing. Call Dr office and the Dr or whoever called back was incredibly rude and said there's nothing he can do just call again tomorrow. So yeah don't expect your medicine if you need it because they don't call it in.

My 86 year old mother, who is in a wheelchair, needed a urodynamic test done. The technician refused to help her or get help for her to get on the exam table. Other people in the office had always assisted my mother with transfer. I was very angry because disabled people are supposed to have the same access as able bodied people. I filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General Office and am speaking to a disability lawyer. My mother was one of Cameron Ghaffary's patients. She is very ill and hopefully will not get worse or die while we wait for a referral and an appointment with another urologist 100 miles away. The US DOJ Civil Rights Division said they should provide a table that is easy for a person in a wheelchair to transfer to if they do not have people in the office that can assist with transfer.

Like a lot of older men, I suffered from an enlarged prostate. I would get up at nights often, due to feeling the urge to urinate. This went on for some time, and I just dealt with it. Until suddenly, one day, it went from difficulty urinating, to I stopped urinating completely. Long story short, I ended up in the ER for severe urinary retention. A catheter was installed, which temporarily relieved the issue. Dr. Fisher, with "The Urology Group", recommended that I have "Green Light Laser" surgery to address the problem. He ended up doing the surgery and I improved immediately the next day. It has now been 3 months since I had the surgery and all I can say is, for me, the results have been fantastic. Thank you Dr. Fisher!

Tried to book an appointment on the website, got a text to confirm. I called (no answer) left a message with a question and never received a call back. I show up on the day of my appointment only to be informed the doctor I selected doesn’t see patients on that particular day and that since I don’t have a referral from a PCP that they won’t see me. Waste of time…this is what I get for trying to be proactive about my health. Receptionists seemed delighted to avoid any further involvement or work and directed me back and forth

It's unfortunate to see so many negative comments especially since this group is the only option in Corpus Christi. My experience was positive, overall. The wait time was short, receptionist was pleasant, the nurse was friendly and Dr. Brehm spent a good amount of time discussing my situation and my options. Perhaps, the Ultrasound Tech could've been more welcoming and informative about the US procedure. Needs customer service tips. Suggestions I would offer is to warn the patient on the potential co-pay which was more than I expected and design the Patient Portal to allow one to view their medical records. All I can view is the appointment option. I'm also disappointed that there are no responses to any of the comments from the Urology Management.

Doc was great. Everything else was the worst Healthcare experience I've ever had. Would call to try to schedule appointments, but would get no answer and would leave messages. Took 3-3.5 weeks to schedule each of my appointments, and these are only for after someone would randomly answer the phone. Had to cancel a surgery, and after refusing to answer the phone or call back for 1.5 weeks I had to take time off work to drive in and cancel in person. Had to reschedule my follow up after surgery, and they listed me as a no-show over a week before the actual appointment and gave it to someone else. I came in to talk in person that day, and the rude front desk person had the audacity to tell me to sit down, but that it would be a while before they could actually see me. Stay away from here if you have any choice.

Best customer service I’ve ever received. From LaToya who talked to my grandfather the whole time while doing blood work since no one could be in the room with him we said he has dementia and typically doesn’t leave my grandmothers side. my grandfather said she was so sweet and talked to me the whole time . Today I got to deal with Tamra the operator who truly care about his well being since I called 3 times to ask questions she gave me her direct line and always answered the phone hello mrs patterson. She reassured me Rosie the surgery nurse would get my grandfather in. She was truly the best part but it doesn’t stop there Rosie explained to me what was possibly going on with my grandfather in depth with helped me of course understand better she was able to get him in today to see the dr. I then was just in ahhhh that one office out of the billion drs we see for my grandfather that every single person I talked to in this office was just outstanding. Diane the office manager who I had to talk to to brag about her wonderful employees was so sweet and just was the cherry on top if you need to see a urologist this is where you should go because they truly care . Thank you Corpus Christi urology group for allowing me to trust you with the most important person in my life. Your genuine souls do not go unnoticed.

The lady's here are very rude. Specifically the administration. I needed some help and they kicked me out and they also hung up on me. Just because i didn't have $300 to remove my stent that the dr. Placed in the ER. Didn't give me an option for a payment plan either. I would not waste your time at this place. They have no care for people who need help. You are better off looking some where else and traveling. They have no care in the world if your in pain or just need help.
