Serenity Wellness & Counseling Center provides a wonderful opportunity for me to learn and practice the counseling skills that I am learning in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master's program at Houston Baptist University. Nicole Bankhead is a knowledgeable and invigorating leader of an incredible counseling center. She is leading me to learn progressive techniques and counseling skills. I am fascinated by how she works with clients and implements different modalities that best suit her clients. I especially enjoy observing Nicole treating trauma by using EMDR. The other counselors in this practice are dynamic and well-trained in specialty areas. I enjoy shadowing and observing these talented counselors in action. I am thankful for Serenity Wellness & Counseling Center and how working here is growing me as a student counselor.

Aside from making the decision to talk to someone in the first place, the hardest part for me was finding someone I was really able to connect with and open up to. That concern immediately melted away once I started talking with Nicole. I absolutely recommend Serenity to anyone looking to improve themselves and the quality of their life

The services received for my daughter have been fantastic. She is learning to communicate which had led to several epiphanies to our relationship and allowed me to improve and change parenting techniques to be more successful. CBT is life changing. I am included in the care and treatment of my child as well as being given techniques to help. Serenity has been a blessing to our family. The road is long but we are capable of mapping it now. Tiffany and Nicole are both amazing. These ladies know their field. We now have hope!

Nicole and the ladies at Serenity are always quick to respond and get appointments scheduled. They provide a vast array of different therapies and are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and down to earth. Love that they see all age ranges and have a therapy dog! Nothing but good things to say about the therapy quality and the wonderful people who work here.

If my checkbook would allow, I'd book daily sessions. I always leave feeling refreshed and with a positive outlook. My sessions have turned my everyday-gloom into a view of optimism. I will forever be thankful for the direction my life has taken after counseling, and I have Nicole to thank for that. I'm a better colleague, wife, parent, daughter, and friend. Thanks to Nicole and Bryan, Serenity Wellness has truly changed my life in the best way. I first started coming here a few months ago when I was at my breaking point of not sleeping for years. Nicole recommended I try the LENS Neurofeedback and it has worked wonders for my sleep/relaxation (in addition to the talk therapy). I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I have struggled with ADHD and sleep issues for years. I was even resigned to the idea that I would most likely not sleep through the night anymore. That has all changed thanks to LENS Neurofeedback treatments at Serenity Wellness and Counseling Center. After a few sessions I began to notice improvements in my energy and concentration during the day. After my latest treatment I am thrilled to say that I have slept through the night 6 out of the last 8 nights! I am amazed by the improvement. Nicole and her team are supportive and encouraging. I’m so thankful I listened when she encouraged me to try LENS Neurofeedback.

Serenity is amazing! They are all super warm and inviting! The whole team is really knowledgeable and they worked with me to find a therapist who fit my needs and schedule. My experience with them has been great so far and I’m really happy to be able to keep working with them!

The environment was the most comforting i’ve ever experienced. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. There were methods I had never used before but they made sure I understood them and was comfortable before moving forward. Will for sure be coming back.
