Oh my gosh, this was the best night out and meal we've had in a LONG time! Four adults ordering four mains, plus large rice, and two lots of roti bread - and it came to $30 per-person, but we tipped with $35 pp because it was just so darn good. Our meal included the delicious Cantonese sizzling steak, and the perfectly spicy salt and pepper calamari ... We're all seasoned travelers who've eaten our way through the likes of Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Japan and Bali - and this was *up there* for authentic Asian cuisine. Real bang for your buck too! And the most perfectly delightful end to the meal was the wonderful conversation we had with the owner. We had dine-in and it was very clean and quiet. What a great local Aussie suburban gem, highly recommend!

Been here a couple of times I can only go on the times I’ve eaten The first time … it was so delicious 😋 I thought about it every time I drove past but too busy to order .. so tonight I decided to come in and eat It was amazing The honey prawns 🍤 were just as I imagined n there was plenty My favourite ❤️ is always satay chicken n they definitely delivered .. tasty n hot .. not many places now sell lychees but was I happy to see it on the menu .. we will be back … thanks Adele 💋

A friend had recommended Delight Inn & we were really impressed. We ordered 16 dishes tonight & all I can say is wow. Adele the owner was so helpful with the order, double checking about the gluten free dish, meals were in a box to keep it all warm & every dish was delicious. We had preordered & it was ready at the time requested. All the dishes were hot & our group of 10 were all very happy with the meals. We will definitely be back😊😊

Coming from America we felt very special, and treated so good. They accommodated our every request. It felt like family. Thank you so very much Adele and Eric and hope to taste your amazing food again before we depart.

Lovely people expensive food - small fried rice $11.80.

Third time trying this restaurant hoping it will get better but each time worse than the last. Never again. Take away last night was horrible. I liken the food here as bad food court Chinese. Fried rice was so dry with hunks of boiled rice thrown in to pad it out. Mongolian steak was like nothing I've ever had. It was more like sweet/sour & reminded me of the cheap Kantong sauce in a jar. Honey chicken was average and very small serving. Sweet & sour pork was like eating deep fried batter, not much meat inside. I seriously don't understand the 5 star reviews. This is up there with the worst food I've ordered.

The best Chinese we've found so far around Frankston. A lot more reasonably priced compared to other Chinese restaurants, and the food is amazing.

Started eating here over two decades ago, WAS absolutely fantastic. Now to recent times, ordered takeaway over the phone for my family of four. Good service , polite and quick turnaround of food. We knew what we wanted and the cost of the food as we had the most recent menu in paper form and digital. Upon pick up at the Delight Inn I was hit with almost $15 on top of what we had calculated. I questioned the staff and even mentioned we had ordered from the June 2022 menu and she said that quite a few people had said similar and it was a mistake so I paid and took a new menu from the restaurant to update and also double check. Sure enough she over charged my family and knew it. The food was mostly okay, not great, not the right flavours in the Mongolian steak and a couple of other dishes and the containers were not full. I am all for local and am one, don't rip people off it leaves a bad taste.

My worst nasi Goreng ever, no flavour, no egg, no Onions, no sauce just white rice and a sliver of Carrot that was it

Went in for a last minute dinner with my best friend and was not let down. We were allowed to eat in and the staff & owner triple checked everything for my vegetarian friend. Had some of the best food we’ve had for a while and the owner was a very lovely lady, thank you!

A local favourite! Excellent food and service-you'll be spoilt for choice looking at the menu but you should try the rendang beef-delish!

Not great at all. Combination Chow Mein came with Crispy noodles that barely filled the bottom of my bowl and they aren’t the crispy egg noodles like they should’ve been. They were more like straight out of the packet and hard. The meat was chewy and dry. Nasi Goreng was tasteless and boring. This was my first time coming and I won’t be back. Very disappointed. Also just an idea that if a customer spends $70 it’d be nice to throw in a bag of prawn crackers and not expect $3 per bag.

Always a great meal. Especially love the satay chicken skewers and crispy honey pepper steak. Yum yum. Adeline always a welcoming host. Keep supporting our local businesses.
