Best flavored charcoal chicken locally around this side of town. Chicken kebabs are plentiful and very tasty. Highly recommend their chips too. Potato bake cream cheese is on point also. Just great food all round.

Whilst a fan, unfortunately quality is inconsistent. This time around they sneakily snuck in a dried out chicken that had been sitting there maybe since the day prior, plus mixed in old chips with new. For $23.00 I want the usual standard of quality……I will go back to this business but not for a while and I will be telling them I don’t want a dried out old chicken like last time. I also arrived at 5pm expecting a fresh chook. Really not happy this time, see you down the track a bit Charcoal Chickens as I personally won’t be back for a long while!!

One of the best in the local area! Staff are great and work together well as a team even when it is super busy. Delicious grilled chicken burgers and souvlaki.

We went there on a Sunday and decided to give it a go, opted for Gyros Lamb pack with Roasted potatoes and salad. Lamb was cook to the perfection, juicy and succulent pieces of lamb made over charcoal heated open pit, kept rotating. Piya bread seems to be pretty fresh and roasted potatoes seems to be tempered with some herbs, has a distinct taste and the garden salad seems to balance the open plate. Service is friendly,min eft-pos is $10, which is fair. Portion size seems decent enough. The signage is visible and Google maps pin you right on location. Highly Recommended and surely I will be returning again and try other options.

There’s a reason this place is PACKED on Friday and Saturday nights. Phone well in advance, otherwise don’t be surprised if you’re waiting 1 hour or longer. They do everything well, have had the chicken, salads, chips, gyros and GSP over several visits. Speakers outside calling order numbers ensures it’s COVID safe inside 👌

This is one of the best family operated food outlets in the area. Their chicken is always cooked perfectly and tastes delicious. The gyros plates are great. Don't skip their home-made dim sims too. Great range of salads and sides. Always a great meal. Thanks.

One of the best all round chicken shops in Melbourne. Quality Chicken. Amazing mixed gyros (chicken/lamb). As well as home made fresh salads. Must try the bean salad! Well staffed for such a busy shop. A must go

Best chips, anywhere!! Amazing chicken and lamb gyros too, always top quality. It’s all the little extra things that help make it so good, e.g. they only bag the chips when you arrive to pick up the order, so they’re always fresh! So happy this is my local chicken shop.

Usually the foods really good, but this is the second time we've had to deal with raw chicken. The first time was a grilled chicken burger which was raw in the centre. Today I had a schnitzel burger that was cooked on the outside but completely raw again in the centre. Apart from this the foods always great but getting grilled or schnitzel is such a gamble lol. Never had issues with the regular charcoal chicken though. Just the chicken burgers.

Pretty inconsistent. Chips tasted like that had zero seasoning and the chicken tasted slightly boiled or poached even. Used to love this place, unfortunately the amount of younger staff have hurt the care and quality. Oh well.

Haven’t had a good Gyro, cooked over hot coals in a long while! The Traditional Souvlaki- was the Bomb! It was tender & wrap was fluffy! Great value for money for 2023 standards! Keep up the great meals guys!

Great place, best charcoal chicken on the peninsula, friendly staff, consistently delicious food. Even stayed open late for me when I was running late to pick up my dinner. Have Given a good fed many many times. Staple of the Carrum area.

First time coming here. Although it wasn't food for me i was picking up an uber eats order the amount of customers and delivery partners in the shop speaks for itself.The staff are all incredibly lovely even when under the pump. Everything looks fresh and it's just such a welcoming place. You have gained a new customer. Looking forward to getting my lunch from here tomorrow 🤗

Was at the beach today with my family. We decided to order from carrum charcoal chicken based on its good reviews. So glad we did! We ordered a few burgers and they were absolutely amazing. Will definitely be going back for more in the future.

The team here are very helpful, kind and accommodating. The meat looks, smells and tastes phenomenal. The flavours, i could only describe as, "angels dancing on my tongue" Old school quality, knowledge and tradition makes this place stand out.

This is by far our favourite take away place of all time and has been for over 6 years. Best food and friendliest staff. Great for the whole family - lots of healthy options too.

I went during the week was pretty good I got a roast chicken and went a Saturday night was very busy ,impossible to eat the lamb gyros was too dry and just crispy fat, waste of money everyone was working on top of each and very messy but the roast ,chicken was good ,

Really good chicken, lovely "cooked over charcoal" taste. Great selection of salads too - the egg salad and chicken &pasta salad are next level! Highly recommended.

Well made food. Happy to drive 15-30 mins to get their chicken. So many options and all very tasty. Staff always have a smile even when it’s busy, makes you feel know they love what they do 😊

Only giving 1 star because I can't give less. Had the worst case of food poisoning after my last visit. Food used to be fantastic here I don't know what happened will never eat there ever again.

Very disappointed with the racism politics, from the manager /head of the kitchen was very rude while I was picking up an order never felt so humiliated and frustrated. 👩🏽‍🦱

Food is good BUT I asked for half a chicken and 2 salads and paid $25.90... when I later checked I could of got a whole chicken and 2 salads for $24.90... RIPPED! So I payed them a dollar to keep half a chicken 🐔🙃

Great chips and souvlaki. Lamb on the spit and it's good lamb. This place is a ripper. No wonder it is always busy.
