I was told to try the amazing homemade pies around the corner from me, but I did not expect them to be THIS AMAZING!!! Pulled to perfection beef! Just try one….oh the staff are beautiful people too! They have a nice homemade relish on offer also.

Anyway I don't think this troll who gave you the one star is too bright or wasn't given enough hugs as a baby. All the best with your business, I will come down soon and have a coffee. 5 stars all round.

Haven’t tried the coffee but went here on a social media tip that their homemade pies were epic. They weren’t wrong - one of the best pies I’ve ever had! Gluten free options for pastries available too. The classic beef pie was a decent size, and definitely could tell it was slow cooked, as it was super tasty in a thick gravy.

Beautiful little hidden gem, decided to take myself and my dog out to this cafe and the food and coffee was absolutely amazing! Also to add, the people that work there are so friendly, if you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re missing out!

Based on the reviews we thought we would head over and give them a try. Very welcoming and friendly staff and based on the take away business, very popular with locals. People come and go with heartfelt greetings shouted to and from the kitchen. Felt like being in grandma’s kitchen, very warm and friendly. On to the food and coffee…our cappuccino’s were flat whites with chocolate powder on top and we waited over half an hour for our breakfast to arrive. Bacon was dry, thank goodness for the maple syrup. Eggs Benny was quite nice. Overall, the food was really not worth the wait and the coffee was below par, considering this is Melbourne. Not much chance we would return. Considering their local support, non local customers not returning wouldn’t be an issue.

My family were looking for new options for Sunday Brunch, we saw the amazing menu & reviews online and decided to make the drive. From the moment we walked in the door we were warmly greeted by the Owner Gina and the girls. Gina then went out of her way to look after us and put shade sails up to avoid our little girl getting sunburnt. Onto the food, I ordered the Ol' Skool Burger, my Mrs had the Smashed Avo with poached eggs and our daughter had the home-made sausage roll. 10/10 on all 3 meals. The burger was cooked and constructed perfectly. My Mrs wouldn't share her avo, so I know that it tasted amazing. And the sausage roll was demolished by the ratbag. Thank you for the great hospitality. We will be back !

I review this place today based on my experience. I've travelled almost a hr on Saturday 31st december to try this place out to find out they were closed . Google said they was open . I don't require an apology or response from vendor . Update now they have updated the google opening times lol Don't lie to customers I have a screenshot that said you was open.but CLOSED Waste of time . My partner and I ended up finding a place to have brekfast just down the road 2 feet first Cafe Absolutely amazing see pics below I highly recommend that place .

Overcharged. Overpriced. We were charged $21 for a berry smoothie. It went from $10 to $21 with added charges we were not told about such as $4 extra for soy milk. I asked her to clarify the smoothie price and she restated $10 and proceeded to charge us. A bacon and egg roll also went from $8.50 to $16 to add spinach and tomato. Sneaky behaviour such as offered tomato sauce also incurred unmentioned charges. The communication was very manipulative and vague. I said that I would not get the smoothie and I was refunded $17. After asking for the receipt I again asked for the full refund for the smoothie. I was then told that these charges were normal and all cafes charge the same. As a cafe owner myself for 10 years, I’m aware of how to cost and value a smoothie and also what good customer service and business ethics are. Would not recommend this business unless you want to be knowingly ripped off.

If you visit Chelsea and don’t give this place a crack you’re going wrong somewhere! It’s not on the main drag but has the best coffee, food and service in the area. Perfectly seasoned big brekkie, one of the best coffees I’ve ever had and everything is home made which is sadly unusual these days. I’ll be back again and again. Thanks ladies!

The Corner hideout is a great place to get food and drink. I was there recently had a really well made omelette which was huge and tasted good. Also had a flat white hazelnut coffee which was good as well. On top of that when I accidently spilled half of my coffee, they made me a new one that was on the house and was kind of them to do so. Excellent food, drink and customer service and would recommend anyone to go here. Great spot!

First time visit after hearing about the pulled beef pies here, and wasn't disappointed. So good that you won't wanna spoil the offering with the tomato sauce in the bowl that comes along with it. Definitely give them a try if you're passing by.

I have been seeking a Cornish Pastie of my preference for 20 years! An yours was devine; thin pastry, scrummy filling, and wonderful flavour. In case, I also ordered your Spanokopita swirl; sooo much filling, and flaky filo = perfection. Your owner(?) is so helpful, Thank you!

The Corner Hideout is an absolute gem of cafe. Awesome friendly staff who are absolutely amazing! The food! AAA+++ I had a sausage roll, and it’s hands down one of the best if not the best sausage roll I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of assuage rolls from all over Australia. The coffee! On point. The Dirty Chai is an absolute must have when you come here, and come here you must.

Coffee was great and the little gingerbread cookie on the side was delicious. Staff friendly but service was very slow. As I said coffee was great and worth the wait, just don't expect a quick stop for a coffee.

A local favourite of ours: consistently excellent coffee, an outstanding range of always fresh food and cakes made with love, and the warmest welcome in bayside hospitality including for dogs.

It is rare to find a small local cafe this good. Excellent coffee with real flavour, and the right temperature. And the food! The bulk of the food is home made and incredibly delicious. Crusty pies, toasted sandwiches and croisants with fresh, high quality ingredients (eg. real chicken fillets), the most awesome sausage rolls, tasty cakes. There is not enough room in this review to do it justice! Just get in there. I am slowly working my way through the entire menu ...

Best coffee this side of the James Webb Space Telescope. Just had a smashed avo with an extra egg and a hash brown and it was amazing. Did I mention how good the coffee is?

The reviews look favourable but I can't say I was impressed. I went for bfst on Sat morning at 8.30, when I went They did in fact have their door closed, I assume because it was cold, hence when I ordered bfast and while waiting, I politely asked if they could keep the door closed being that it was cold. The young girl mentioned she had to ask the owner/manager, I don't know what position she holds in the business! The woman then came out and said the the door could not be closed as customers would think the shop was closed! It's appalling being that they had the door was closed anyway. They don't have bathroom amenities yet they serve food. They tell you the service station is the option. Their eftpos was not working hence they did mention it initially which things happen at times, and I was happy to pay cash. Totally dissatisfied with their customer service. It seems to me that not enough attention to care for patrons comfort!!!!! They need to lift their act!!!!

The sign doesn't lie when it says the best pies in Melbourne. Seriously one of the best pies I've eaten. Quiche is also super tasty. Super friendly staff to top it all off!

My husband and I had the big breakfast with an ice coffee and ice chocolate this morning. Hands down the best breakfast we have ever had! Staff are so sweet and polite and catered to my allergies with no fuss. We will definitely be making this a more frequent place to have our weekend breaky. Thank you so much. X
