What a gem, Frankston's hidden secret, Authentic Sri Lankan food, friendly service and very well priced. Had the beef pan roll and lamb curry with rice and veg curry. Decent spice level, made this white boy sweat in a good way. Will be back for dinner next week.

This is a lovely Cafe serving authentic Sri Lankan food. The pan rolls ( house speciality) are not to be missed, and the curries are full of flavour without being heavy or oily. I must say the loaded wedges topped with fried curry leaves are spectacular! I can also recommend the nasi goreng with devilled chicken, which is made with the chef's own signature belacan. This dish goes perfectly with the long neck Lion beer which is served properly chiiled. There are also sandwiches, wraps and traditional bacon and eggs available. On Wednesdays they have an all you can buffet with a Sri Lanka hopper cart but I am not sure if it is permanent. All up, this place is definitely worth a try.

We have been meaning to visit this little place for so long now. The food was lovely, I wasn’t quite sure what main I ended up with but it was tasty and vegetarian. They seemed very conscious of dietary requirements and came back out to check I was ok with nuts. The lady who served us was gorgeous, such a lovely warm soul. Wednesday evenings they have an all you can eat smorgasbord for $30 and apparently it gets booked out. The restaurant is on Skye Rd but the other side of the freeway closer to the new updated intersection ,turn on your maps and you will see what I mean . Thanks again for the lovely, served with a lovely smile.

We came here with a family of 7 and ordered a banquet. What a feast of great, tasty food! We rolled out the door with grins on our faces.

An absolute hidden gem that lived up to the hype. The food was amazing that brought back memories of traveling in Sri Lanka. Prices are extremely good, but the true shining light is the service. Every person that looked after us was so happy and welcoming. I can't wait to go back and try more of the other options.

The food was tasty. Had set price menu which was chicken beef the same style and peace sauce. Not really much variety. But very good food. Would expect more dished.

During my visit to Melbourne, I had the pleasure of dining at Cyloan Girls, a Sri Lankan restaurant that promised an authentic culinary experience. I decided to try their renowned dishes, Kottu and Nasiguran, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.

Delicious warm comfort food. Refreshing to eat with lots of unique flavours. The string hoppers were delicious by themselves as well as with the dishes. We enjoyed a vegetarian banquet which was good value and lots of variety The service was friendly and helpful with describing the dishes. They were genuinely nice !

Went for their buffet. Absolutely fantastic. Everything was fresh and very yummy. Large range of vegetarian and gluten free as well. Great value! I've had meals that cost 3 x as much and weren't as good.

Angela catered for my husbands 60th. The food was excellent! Very tasty and rated highly by all Sri Lankan guests. Her service was exceptional! Very professional and prompt. She delivered the food in Bain Marie’s and collected the equipment the next morning. I highly recommend Ceylon Girl’s Cafe for your next event! Thanks so much Angela!

Great little place. Really friendly staff. Managed to start a new restaurant in the middle of a pandemic, and the food is delicious. Lots of live music too. Well priced.

Really enjoyed the food. Wait staff were friendly yet could inform you more upon entry of what to do. Definitely didn't need the electric guitarist playing the same 4 chords and very loud. Remove the guitarist and let people talk without yelling or change him to accoustic. Over all I did enjoy my food experience just not the loud guitarist.

We booked a table for Wednesday all you can eat buffet. The food is absolutely delicious and the service it great ,lovely people. Also best gin and tonic I've ever had, I'm going to have to ask the type of gin they use because it was extra nice. I left full and satisfied.

Best refreshing smoothie I've had ever. Moist home made carrot cake and coffee with no bitter after taste. Morning tea sorted.

We thought we had found a hidden gem but unfortunately good customer service it was not. When you take the time to actually book a table you would think that you would be within the time frame to order dessert! Instead of being told no, kitchen is closed. Wouldn't you at bare minimum.... approach our table and say "hey, if you want dessert you should order now as the kitchen is closing"...That was super disappointing, especially when you deliberately dont eat all of your meal to have room for it..to be told no and your food is now cold so you can't go back to it. Zero respect shown towards a customer who took the time to book a table...different if we had walked in off the street.

A hidden gem of truly authentic taste and welcoming hospitality. We visited on a quiet Friday night and received attentive care from the waitress, who made brilliant cocktails. There was another family there who were quite difficult and picky eaters by the sounds of it, but she was able to cater to their needs (don't go to an authentic restaurant if you want a pub meal it's embarrassing) We had the curry and it was presented with with a variation of meat, rice, yoghurt and more. The chef brought it out to us and recommended we mix it all together as the tastes compliment each other, and she was so right! Was so flavoursome and felt truly traditional and authentic. We also cannot recommend the pan rolls high enough - brilliant entree. If you're keen on trying something other than the westernised food of Frankston, I cannot recommend this place higher! Great value for money, great meal sizes, welcoming and attentive staff... Will be back!

First things first; order the pan rolls! Ceylon Girls has an unassuming shop front with an exceptionally clean open kitchen providing great good. I have been twice already for dinner and tried a mix of rice and noodle dishes. They have all been fantastic and taste like effort went into the cooking of them. I'll be going back for sure. They also do a decent coffee and cake if you're just dropping by
