We stopped here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Estimated wait time was an hour, but it only took thirty minutes and they texted us as soon as our table was ready. The entire place was packed, but that didn't hinder any of the wait staff from giving a wonderful experience. Food came quickly, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. There is also a private beach for the restaurant. I'd highly recommend visiting.

Great food with an excellent beach location. If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy the sunset in the evening or lunch in the beach, this is the spot. Live music, great views, and good service. Cold beers, daiquiris, margaritas, and craft cocktails served in a thermal to go cup!!

Great boiled shrimp. Wish they were offered hot, but only grilled or fried options for hot. Mahi tacos were excellent. Gouda grits tasted great but were warm/room temperature. Fish spread was fantastic, but tortilla chips are not ideal. Made it a little Salty.

Drove down to grab a bite gulfside, and as always, I wasn't disappointed with Schooners. The food and the atmosphere were awesome. They had a good band, and the people at the bar were awesome, friendly, and entertaining. We got there early and were able to get seated right away at the front bar. We had the fish tacos and onion rings. The food was priced right for what you got and the quality. They were certainly not trying to gouge customers. The parking can be a bit difficult, so if you're staying close, it's worth the walk or catching a ride. The sunsets here can be amazing, so enjoy.

Beautiful beach front restaurant. Food was good. Service was excellent. My bartender Christian was very good and courteous. Definitely worth to visit and spend some money here. Tourist must visit such a local place to support the small businesses to bring back the economy. I was very happy and will return next time if I am in this area.

Our first time here and it was pretty good. Our food was about in about 20 minutes. They were pretty busy but our waiter was very kind and kept us updated. The shrimp was cooked very well and crispy. The Buffalo shrimp appetizer was really good. It was sweet and spicy. Along side, I ordered a side of grits which were a little cold but still very flavorful with the smoked cheeses. The view is absolutely beautiful. After we were done with our food, we walked out to the beach.

Schooners was pretty good! I usually don’t get fried seafood but I did this go around. I ordered the Gulf Fresh Grouper and it tasted pretty good but the portion size was lacking a bit. Schooners is on the beach so hearing the waves crash and smelling the salty air is just about as good as it gets.

Schooners is a one of a kind place. We've struggled to get in quickly in the evening hours so we discovered the trick is to eat early supper around 4 and we walked right in to great seats with a view of the water. I ordered the "Scuban" and it was phenomenal! Our server provided top notch service despite having a full section. Perfect meal at a classy place. We will return!

Schooners is a great beach side atmosphere. We were fortunate enough to acquire a table with a wonderful view of the water and beach, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was pretty good, I wouldn't say it was the freshest or best we ate in town, but there were no complaints. Again, atmosphere and service was great!

Beautiful beach, great food, awesome drinks. I've lived in Panama City for a long time, and this place is truly a gem. Would definitely recommend the food. Once you're done, head out back to the beach. The water is some of the best I've seen in Bay County. Check out the pics. Was an amazing day today.

We had a great time at Schooners! The food was excellent and we arrived a little late but was still able to eat. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was our server was in a hurry to leave, and our whole table ordered sweet tea. We each had 1 glass and she told us she forgot and poured all the tea out! We were offered sodas but no one wanted them, so we had to drink water. The thing was she charged us $8 and some change for 3 glasses of tea??????? Wow!

Right on the beach with great service and great food. 100% recommend. It is worth it. I had the lobster bisque, loco wings, and burger! All amazing!

We sat at the bar outside post Zeta that blew through last night. Beach was beautiful! Ordered a cocktail and our usual yummy grouper basket with side salad! Very windy today but they had coverings on windows so it was nice! Always love sitting at bar as you get quick service.

Recommended by a local that this is the best place around and bonus that it's on the beach. Great food, lively atmosphere.

I had an outstanding lunch today. The tuna Medallions cooked rare - came out a nice medium (so dont expect red) Service was fast and friendly. I ate at the sticky bar it's worth it.

Schooners is our go to seafood place. You can’t beat eating fresh seafood with a beach view. The servers are great and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the sautéed crab claws and the grouper sandwich (it’s huge). You can’t go wrong with eating here for lunch or dinner. Pro tip: eat a late lunch or early dinner here to avoid a long dinner wait during peak season.

Outstanding lunch. The grouper in our sandwiches was obviously swimming in the Gulf last night. So fresh! Colleen was a great server.

I had their shrimp dinner with a margarita and my wife had their grouper. Both entrees were delicious and the drink was very strong but I’m not complaining. Kinda hard to find the restaurant it’s tucked away behind a parking garage but there is a large sign.

Great place to eat by the beach! The fried grouper tastes very good! My husband had a burger and like it was well! We ordered onion rings as an appetizer. I would definitely recommend those too!

Beautiful restaurant located RIGHT on the beach! Great service, food, and drinks! The chicken wings were delicious as was my shrimp and my husband's grouper! Yum! My cousin got the grouper sandwich and I will have to try that next time, it was huge! Even though we arrived near closing, the hostess, bartender, and server were amazing and kind; trained well!

We were sat quickly and the food came quickly. The server was attentive. The fried Mahi-Mahi bites were tasty. Most of the family got the grouper and they loved it. One had fried, one had blackened and two had grilled. Hamburger was big and tasty. The jerked chicken was really good. The dream sickle drink was perfect, just strong enough. Great job. Beautiful location.

One of my favorite spots for seafood in Panama City Beach. Big restaurant with two bars. Atmosphere is excellent and the service is great. Nice outdoor area where they often have live music. Lots of seating with beach views and plenty of TVs. Good size menu with lots of options. Food is really good and reasonably priced. If your in PCB I highly recommend Schooners!

Absolutely love the atmosphere and food here! I’ve visited Schooners during each of my trips to PCB over the past few years and it’s always consistently good. It’s totally worth the wait, but I recommend going during lunch so it’s not as busy! The food is great and the servers are amazing. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch time or they’re insanely busy summer evening rush - you’re going to get great food and amazing service here with a view and experience of the beach. Their burger, onion rings, popcorn shrimp, and daiquiris are great things to try!

The place is nice. The wings are really good and the other two plates we tried, the drunken shrimp bowl and the gulf grouper were okay. The bowl is almost like having chipotle. The staff was really friendly and the customer service was great. Table was a little sticky though and the regular chairs & tables are a bit uncomfortable .

Schooner's claims to be "The Last Local Spot" in Panama City Beach and it is hidden from the real touristy spots. Beach access is a plus. Their menu consists of mainly fried seafood, but what I had was pretty good. Laid back comfortable atmosphere and good for families. Service was good and the prices were very reasonable.

More of a beach club type atmosphere with plenty of space at the bar... would rather have an indoor section with A/c but enjoyed the vibe nevertheless. The crab claws are absolutely baller and the lobster ravioli was out of this world. Have been coming to Schooners for over 20 years and would not hesitate to come back. Place has good vibes, great food, and fast seating no matter the party size. Check it out for yourself... you will NOT be disappointed

Initially the wait was a hour but we were seated in 30 minutes! The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Our drinks and food came rather quickly. The view was amazing! Such an awesome day at the beach! I had the grilled grouper, definitely a 10 out of 10!

Great food for price point. Gluten free options are limited but good. Fun beach atmosphere. Family enjoyed the blackened grouper tremendously. Salad was excellent wedge. Service was extremely kind and polite, just slow... ENJOY this PCB gem!

Super crazy busy place in Feb as they do half off the entire restaurant between 3-5 Monday-Friday in Feb which was awesome as we were able to try so many things! We tried to get in multiple times only to be told 1.5-2 hour wait time. We finally got in one day when we arrived around 1:45pm which was perfect! We sat at the bar. Service was good for how busy they are!! We tried the wedge salad, smoked wings, crab cake appetizer, cheese curds, seafood gumbo, and grouper basket. EVERYTHING was perfect! Highly recommend! There are 2 different bars inside and a big garage door that opens to the beach! Can get a drink at one of the bars and wait on the beach for your table.

Great Food with reasonable prices. The service was excellent as well. When we went it was busy and there was a wait, but they got us seated in half the time we was told. I would totally go back and hangout because they have a great selection of drinks.

My first time experiencing Schooners and want be the last! I had the Blackened Grouper and was delicious! I also had as an appetizer Mahi Bites that taste amazing, must try with jalapeno ranch sauce. To finish off a great meal the key lime pie is a must! Definitely recommend stopping by and try out this amazing beach front location!

We visit every time that Wr come to PCB. The tuna dip is always worth it. This time was no different. Always a great place, with a great view.

Always fantastic food and service. They were even nice enough to let my 5 year old daughter use the bathroom ten minutes before they opened. The grouper sandwich and fish tacos are my favorites.

Enjoyed Schooners during their Lobster Fest meals. Everything we ordered was delicious! Our son enjoyed the Lobster Porboy. It was huge. Rum runners were awesome!

Great food and fun atmosphere whether you choose to sit indoor, outdoor or at the bar. Servers always cheerful and fast. We went twice during our 4 day visit...that good!!!

Holy grits this place is good. Gouda grits, that is. We had an ocean side table right on the beach with toes in the sand. I got grilled grouper and it was fantastic. We will be back. Absolutely. I love this bar!

Great ambiance, great food, great music, and great because of the memory of proposing to my wife there 10 years ago! To top it off, we got to have a fire on the beach with our church near Schooners recently. Schooners was so accommodating.

One of the best ocean side restaurants on Panama City Beach for sure! The food was amazing. I was worried I would be way too hot to eat, because it's basically outside, with a roof. It was a 90 degree day, very hot, but we were out of the sun and the wind is perfect! It wasn't too hot at all. It wasn't too windy either. The food was to die for!

One of the last true Local beach restaurants, and there is a reason why they have lasted. Schooners offers delicious fresh high quality food consistently! The staff is always courteous and happy to serve your family and friends! I truly cannot remember a bad experience I've had at Schooner's! I highly recommend it!

Amazing food and very caring service

There not very accommodating to special. Request. No modifacations allowed to any many items whatsoever. Over priced food is so so. Lobster bisque had 2 small pieces of lobster, crab cakes had 1 decent size piece of crab. The atmosphere is great. So if you just want over priced drinks its definitely your place. Were locals definitely huge disappointment.

Creative menu, great service

SOME OF THE BEST FISH TACOS I’ve ever had... and I’ve had a lot. Grilled, fresh and flavorful. More fish than cabbage slaw and I like veggies. The tortilla was grilled and thin and held the taco together perfectly. The kids (picky eaters) ate everything and the skinny margarita was not skinny on tequila which I appreciated. The server was great and food came out quickly. Casual dining as expected with a great view.

The grouper is excellent as are the French fries.

I've heard the food is good, but we were not able to get a to go order, when they say 6pm cut off they mean it. The staff wore masks, but not many customers were wearing masks upon entry. The hostess seemed annoyed by my ordering food and waiting questions. Not a good first impression and found 2 other restaurants equally as good and equally rated, that had better accommodation for decreasing your likelihood of contracting covid😷

BEST place in PCB, no question about it! The atmosphere, service, tuna dip are all the best in PCB!!
