Absolutely fantastic! The large muffuletta definitely serves 4 people! It was very tasty. I don’t even like olives, but this sandwich is just so unique and even I (a certified olive hater) really enjoyed it! If you miss New Orleans and are craving beignets, this is the place for you because they have them just like Cafe Du Monde! We really really enjoyed this little cafe, it’s affordable, and the food is amazing!

We had chicken, shrimp, meatball and roast beef po boys. The bread was excellent. I liked the chicken best though all were good. They didn't have the catfish when we went or the red beans and rice but you will have that sometimes. There was a small outside area to eat and an inside area. The service was good and friendly

This was an awesome surprise. It’s small, limited menu, limited seating. The best shrimp Po Boy we’ve ever had was in Valparaiso at the original French Quarter now sold and relabeled and Po boys are not even close to original. But at Davids the shrimp Po Boy my wife and I got at David’s was very good. Didn’t have the sauces, etc but was loaded with smaller shrimp which we prefer on a Po Boy (shrimp in ever bite) there’s a small refrigerated dispenser in front of counter to add your choice, Mayo, pickles, Cole slaw, jalapeños, etc. We each got a 6 inch and 1 order of fries which the fries were seasoned very well. Definitely our new shrimp Po Boy go to when that crave hits.

The Shrimp PoBoy was absolutely amazing and might be the best I have ever eaten. I’m very glad I live in Panama City now so I can go to David’s on a regular basis. The servings are perfect and the price is right. Thanks so much for the great food you will see me again. Since I originally posted this I have been back 3x and every time they get better. Please visit this establishment. They are incredible and if they ever closed PCB would be out one of their finest restaurants.

Alan brought me to this place because he told me that the beignets are to die for. This was the 1st time I had ever had one, and boy they did not disappoint!! Alan also introduced me to the owner David, who was very welcoming. This is a family owned business and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. I highly recommend this place.

Decide to check this place out because of some reviews and we love beignets! The beignets were delicious!!! Wife and daughter had coffee and also loved it. We decided to try the muffuletta and it was really good! We would definitely go back! Would love to try one of the po boys!

This place is the BEST! Everything here is delicious. Their shrimp po-boy is stellar. Seasoned fries are tasty. Chicken tenders are crispy and flavorful. I highly recommend the shrimp etoufee. It is amazing. True, authentic NOLA food. Having lived in New Orleans I can tell you this place is good. It’s a weekly stop for us. The meatball po-boy is also delicious as well as the muffuletta. End the meal with some baby beignets. Totally worth trying. Dine in or take out.. it’s delicious. Highly recommend this place! ‘Yeah you right’!! ⚜️

My husband and I both ordered the shrimp po boy and it was DELICIOUS!! Honestly the best po boy I’ve ever had. The shrimp was fresh and the bread was so soft. Will definitely come again the next time we’re in town.

This is the kind of place that every time you visit PC you want to stop in and enjoy the atmosphere. The owner is amazing and constantly immersed in his business. You can tell he enjoys what he does and it shows and how it feels inside. The snow ones are a must! The food is amazing as well. Stop in and you will not be disappointed. Also grab some beignets for the road!

New Orleans fare that hits the spot! The jambalaya, muffalettas (a small feeds two), grilled cheese, shrimp poboys (stuffed full), beignets and stuffed sno-balls were all perfect. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean.

An excellent stop for breakfast or for mid afternoon pick me ups! We had the New Orleans style beignets which were utterly fantastic and the breakfast sandwiches, which were quite good as well. The prices were excellent.. we left with full bellies and spent far less than at a chain restaurant. Will be back later this week for more beignets and for sno balls.

fresh beignets, great food, a favorite when in PCB. If they had fried boudin balls, it would be nuts! Just go if you are in PCB or close, you will not be disappointed.

Shrimp Poboy is the best and the mini Beignets were so yummy. We will be going back for sure.😍😍😍

  • 5/5 Aaron W. 3 years ago on Google
Beignets are awesome. Sno-balls are amazing. Muffuletta is better than anywhere I’ve had outside of New Orleans. It’s a fixture for my vacation!

  • 4/5 Ladd K. 3 years ago on Google
Had the snow balls and beneighs. Sno balls were excellent with the condensed milk. The beneighs were fresh and light. You can order those stuffed but I prefer the regular. Also tried the special which was etouffee. Didnt really care for. Tasted like minestrone soup with some spice and couple of shrimp thrown in. Otherwise would have been a 5 star. Still a great place to try!!

  • 5/5 Liz F. 3 years ago on Google
I was reluctant to go there but glad I did what a local gem. I had the roast beef Po'boy and black cherry cream snowcone. It was doggone good food. Roast beef tender and tasty. Unpretentious, clean little joint. The owner was there and he is the rockstar of this place, you felt right at home, was able to recommend the perfect dish for my taste. To bad I went there on the way out of town or I would have gone back.

  • 5/5 Chris A. 3 years ago on Google
Incredible snowballs! We got several flavors and they were all outstanding! The owner is super friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Took a while in line because of how much effort they put into each snowball creation, but it was worth the wait! Highly recommend the chocolate cream snowball as it was our favorite!

  • 4/5 P J. 3 years ago on Google
Very good po boy. Had shrimp etouffee, which was only OK. Asked no mayo but sandwich had mayo. Probably only 2 items that kept from 5 *

  • 5/5 Kristi C. 3 years ago on Google
Being from Louisiana always a little curious about "po boys". We got the shrimp and a roast beef...yumminess!!!! Good bread is the key. Tasted like home.. Highly recommend! They also had jambalaya and etouffee may have to go back and try those. We also got the beignets..yummy with a Cafe au lait. Try this place...I do not think you will be disappointed!!!!!

Just like the business name says, New Orleans Style Poboys. Being originally from south Louisiana I know a good poboy when I eat one and my wife loves them as much as I do. Ham and cheese dressed with mayo, lettuce and tomato for me and a shrimp poboy for her, both 6 inch because with their season fry's that's all you probably will need. Please note I already ate three inches of this awesome sandwich and took great restraint to take the photo before eating this remaining part. Great food, great service, affordable prices and all from a family owned restaurant. Located on highway 98 in Panama City Beach.

  • 5/5 Bonnie W. 1 year ago on Google
We lived in New Orleans 3 years. And this is the best. The roast beef poorboy and the shrimp poorboy are the best ever and the gumbo is file shrimp and sausage, not tomato base. So,so good.

I take my daughter and friends here all the time. Dave is always welcoming and amazing with the kids. The food is better than most of these expensive places on the beach. We’re locals and eat there all the time.

FOOD IS SO GOOD Beignets We’re My Fav With A lot Of Powder Sugar You Wouldn’t Have To ask For Extra ( i Loved That ) Everyone Was Nice & Helpful But However After 4 They Limit The Menu So You Could Only Eat what’s On The Special Other Than That The Gumbo & Snow Cones Were Delicious ! . Will Be Back .

  • 5/5 Katie J. 7 months ago on Google
The shrimp po boy was so delicious! It was loaded down with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and perfectly seasoned crunchy shrimp! The French fries were also well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Can’t wait to go back!

  • 5/5 Jacqueline U. 10 months ago on Google
So very wonderful! We ordered a range of items from the po boys, beignets, sno balls, iced coffee, pecan pralines, shrimp étoufée - all of it was flavorful & fresh. We were in town visiting, but this place would be a regular visit for my family if we lived here! I also enjoyed the friendliness of the staff to include the owner.

  • 5/5 Caley M. 9 months ago on Google
Visited here while on vacation and service was fantastic!! So much better than any other place we visited this trip. Very friendly and pretty fast. We got there as soon as it opened and there was already a line. Limited seating when that busy! Ordered the beignet bites and omg..soo good. So airy and delicious. Also ordered the largest (I love it) size snoball and it was literally ginormous lol. Me and my husband shared the one and it was a lot! 10/10 recommend this local place and would go back in a heartbeat.

  • 5/5 Nicole G. 8 months ago on Google
I went around lunch for a sweet snack. I had an order of 3 beignets that were pretty good. The snowball was amazing. I loved the thin shaved ice and plenty of syrup so there was no plain ice. It was so cool to see an actual block of ice loaded into a metal machine to shave the ice.

Lived in The Big Easy total of 8 years. Have not found a place that comes close to the food, until now. Shrimp PO-Boy was fantastic: loaded with shrimp and fully dressed. Bread was the real deal too. Probably be coming back every day I'm here!

  • 5/5 Nancy S. 3 years ago on Google
My husband made a reservation on our way north in Panama City Beach just so we could enjoy the wonderful oyster po boys. He thinks they rival any he's had in NOLA. PLUS the staff is competent and efficient.

The beignets were fantastic!!! Also the breakfast po- boy is a good choice if your looking for a great breakfast sammy. Definitely recommend a stop in. David, the owner, is a real nice guy with a very cheery appeal.

  • 1/5 Betty D. 3 years ago on Google
Ordered 5 roast beef sandwiches. Only delivered 4. Apologized and said they would fix it. Took over 15 minutes to make 1 sandwich (everyone else had finished by then). This is NOT a sliced roast beef sandwich! More like shredded pot roast on a Cuban roll. It was filling is all I can say. No chips or fries, just the sandwich. Also their prices were raised higher than the menu shows in their FB photo (6" was $8.25, not $6.95). So disappointed that we went somewhere else for ice cream. Would never recommend.

  • 5/5 Amy O. 3 years ago on Google
Amazing! Quality, well thought out food. David the owner was fun to talk to and has a genuine detication and excitement for his menu. We visited on our last day of our trip and wished we came on the first so we could've eaten here again, and again.

  • 5/5 Jordan L. 3 years ago on Google
First time visiting this establishment. Roughly left about 6pm. Purchased the shrimp Poboy with fries. Food was absolutely fantastic! Service was astounding as well! Only thing I didn't like was customer's being told to wear mask. I'm aware this isnt the owners doing, as the city ordinance does recommend patrons wear them (though they aren't required like workers are). Would recommend going to this place if you never have before! I planned to come back by at least one more time before the end of my vacation!

  • 5/5 Phillip E. 4 years ago on Google
This is a hidden treasure, if you are looking for a sweet treat, they have you covered from Sno-Balls, ice cream, and beignets! We ordered the special on a dozen baby beignets, we were down to four before I could get my phone up to take a pic!

  • 5/5 Kathleen M. 3 years ago on Google
We loved the food! Had shrimp Po Boy and muffelatto sandwiches, both of which were fantastic! Large portions. Beignets were delicious. We will definetly return.

  • 5/5 April V. 3 years ago on Google
Got a hankering for beignets while on vacation, and, on a whim, googled them. Davids Cafe popped up so, we decided to give them a try. BEST DECISION EVER!! A little out of the way for us, but, well worth it. We ordered 24 minis and, it was perfect for my large group. They were ready pretty quick, hot, and we're delicious!

Ok spot for tasty American food. Fell in love with this place from the 1st taste. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. Prices were fair. Wish it was closer to my house, I would come every week.

David's New Orleans Style Café & Sno-Balls is right on the North Beach Road but look close for it! A small place but with big flavor of New Orleans style sandwiches, seafood gumbo and the likes. The Po' Boy sandwiches are made on buns shipped in from New Orleans and are SOOOOO good. Along with the Sno-balls which must be a New Orleans thing, they have Hershey's Brand Ice cream! I had to have a scoop to finish off my meal of a Shrimp Po' Boy sandwich for dinner. Great Mom & Pop type place! Oh yes, Don't be cheap and pleas leave a tip for the hard working staff!!!

  • 5/5 A W. 3 years ago on Google
Yummy tummy o so good. Best po boy and snowball ever! Definitely true to there new Orleans theme. And very kind staff. Clean restaurant all around. Highly recommended!!!!

  • 5/5 Shane J. 3 years ago on Google
Wow! Great food! We had the catfish poboy. The crispy crust and soft bread interior with nicely spiced ultra flavorful surface of the delicate catfish. Jumbalaya had good sausage. Beignets were best I had since I was at Cafe Du Monde when I was 7. Other guests said they never tried the fish but came for years for the roast beef and muffuletta. Employees were very nice and said the owners were the real deal really caring about the quality and sourcing the products and ingredients. We will be back to try new things! Thanks!
