I applied for assistant manager job with dodge,s after all I was invited for manager interview. When I went in manager he had no idea I had job interview with him , he went through his email and find my application ( meaning he don’t check his emails) we sat and talked I asked him simple questions how many employees working he turned a round and counting his employees funny to me .then when he asked about my work history I gave him all the details I have to say that I was truck stop manager hiring , training , ordering , and a lot of business owners know me by name , anyway he told me he need talk to his hire up he asked me am if I able to pass drug test and background check I said yes in 2 weeks I didn’t heard nothing from them . Today 12/6/2018 I went and asked for him he said he will see me soon he was in his office after 40 minutes he cane out of office and he invited someone else to his office that guy he came in after me , after 20 minutes he came out and start working on computer and even he ignored me to tell me something I wait 10 minutes nothing happened he ignored eye contact it was the most embarrassing day in my 56 years life I walked out the only think I can think of he saw me as threat to his position I was threat to his position with 18 years work in gas station and all kind experience .

I have been going to Dodge's for the last 20 years. My favorite store,must say don't miss a day ! All of the food is good and check for freshness. Good employees, especially Miss Sheila! One sweet hard working lady,even when she's having a bad day! Smiles and keep it going love her!🤗

This place is like going to the mall, if your a guy without spending hours on end... A hint of exaggeration... This well know stop and go destination has everything and is least known for getting gasoline. Fresh hot chicken, warm rolls, apple pies and all the small items that you expect at any convenient store along your journey. Has (MENU pictures posted) fountain drinks severed, beer/alcohol, payroll check cashed?, indoor dining for those not wanting to drive with 1 knee - Dangerous! Ooh, and if you need gas the prices are competitive with 20 fill up stations to choose from. Do not know the branded gas supplier used but if they were to reach an agreement (Shell, Chevron, Mobile, Texaco or Exxon - whatever) they would most likely have to pay them (Dodge's) for the benefit of the signage... I have always experienced great service here!

I've been going to Dodges ever since they opened. There has been an employee who has been there consistently, Shiela. Every time I go in there she is working. Either at the Money Center, the fryers, the cash register, helping an employee with a problem, stocking shelves, cleaning the Refreshment Center or picking up discarded items off of the floor. I know the Pandemic caused a worker shortage & it probably still exists today. So what can we say except, thank God for employees like Shiela who truly care.

They have tvs in the bathrooms and I'm pretty sure the tvs have cameras so I wouldn't suggest using the bathrooms there.

Nasty, I don't think they ever mop the floors. They do not clean up that's for sure. Disgusting try to avoid this one. And If You Need A Manger Give Me A Call Because Your Manager Is Not Doing The Job!!! Clean Up This Store!!

They're very expensive. The workers stand there and look at you and won't wait on you with huge lines going out the door. Very rude hateful people working there. Thugs and druggies loitering outside. The worst place to stop in panama city. New mgmt didn't change the way they treat customers. Don't Go Here!!!!

The Chicken and potato wedges were really good but the Apple pies are the best! I am hooked on those hot, fried apple pies. The crispy shell melts in your mouth and following is the ooey-gooey warm apple cinnamon filling that's perfect. Also, I was having a bad day and while I checked out, the lady that handed my receipt, complimented me in a huge way. She turned a bad day into a smile. It takes great team members and staff to go beyond taking money and orders to make a business strive. Good job Dodge's.

Because I did the application the signage said they were expanding staff starting at 11.00/ hr at this particular location and this is the message that I got...Unfortunately you have not been selected for a position at the Panama City, FL location of Dodges Stores at this time. And that they were fully staffed and not hiring at this location

Sketchy place at times and not sure employees care about their job or not, at least a smile will make the experience a tad bit better.

The only thing there is crappy gas, thugs, drugs, and food to make you vomit. Not to mention everything else is overpriced as well. The place has gone all ghetto. Too many people loitering with their pants hanging down selling drugs. I watched the same guy stand there with his pants so low and him stroking his private to show it off. He made two VERY OBVIOUS drug deals in plain sight. Two other women started arguing and a fight almost started. We used to go for money orders. I was in the car and wife walked in. Somebody stalked her and tried to grab her envelope until I honked the horn, then he took off running. My wife was waiting forever for money orders. The only good thing there was the macaroni and cheese. Now that is gone and the rest is all heat lamp dried out garbage.

Gaspaid for with debit was charged same price as credit, clerk was to busy texting or on Facebook to greet customers when entering store, overall not a very good experience for me.

This is the sorriest place I’ve ever been to in my entire life. if I could give it zero stars I would 100% fo do they not only helped a dude behind us and gave away our food but also told us that we were not allowed to use their bathrooms because they supposedly closed at midnight yet they were still open at 2:30. The service was The worst I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. They served my daughter hot chicken Wings whenever she asked for regular and she can barely stand them at all. to all of the employees that work there I hope you have a wonderful life yet I will never ever be back. so please whatever you do save yourself the trip and go just a couple minutes down the road and go elsewhere.

Always go there. Cheap gas. Food. Check cashing. Western Union. Pay your bills there. Crowded at times but never to much.

I use to enjoy going into dodges they were always well stocked on everything up until about a month ago I go in now and it seems like they are always out of stuff the shelves look bare I’ve gone in to get oven roasted chicken and pizza sticks and they were even out of those my favorite part was going on and getting an ice but seems that can’t even keep that in stock people use to be so cheerful when you come in and now it’s like walking in a dark place where people dread to even be there I’m not sure what happened but I’m not sure I even want to go back anymore and I would drive out of my way just to go there . Not to mention the drink area is always a complete mess when I go in around lunch time and would be out of cups and lids next time I go in I’m going to take photos and post them I’m very disappointed have 5 people there working and only one person working the register is a little ridiculous as well I hope they get it together

I’m not one to right reviews but I went here probably 2 weeks ago and got treated amazing. Excuse me if I spell it wrong but the guys name was thermon, he also had a lady working with him but I forgot her name. Honestly he made my day and he deserves to be recognized.

Jay was very nice and helpful. He's one of the nicest employees I've encountered here. It's a gas station people, be grateful they even have the staff to be open right now.

I went into the store Nov 2,2022 and Received horrible customer service from a cashier name Tressa. After being misled by her, regarding the price of a daily special, I was treated very rude!Because of her attitude i requested my money back !! Before leaving the store, I had to be reimbursed 3 different times due to her being misleading and quick tempered. She wasnt friendly at all & acted as tho i was a bother, very much so, I was afraid to ask for my need of condiments. I will never go to her line ever again!!!! I love Dodges but Tressa needs a better ATTITUDE!!!

I do not like to write poor reviews on people but the attitudes in this store are absolutely uncalled for towards the customers. Some of the women behind the counter are hostile and enjoy seeing confertations between customers and employees. I will be reaching out to the owner which I know he dose not find these behaviors acceptable. Hopefully he will be able to find a solution for the outright disrespect towards the customers!

Staff is great for the most part long days tend to wear on the nerves. Tressa always seems to have all the answers for other employees she definitely needs to promoted.

This is one of my favorite stores to stop in to because they are always friendly and helpful. Sheila takes pride in her job and has been with the store for a very long time. She always has a smile on her face and takes time to greet and interact with customers so they feel seen, and that means alot at the start of a long work day. Thank you, Sheila!

I entered in this thinking it would not as bad, well i was proved wrong! The food was amazing and i would recommend this play. A women named Sheila helped me out and her service was amazing. I think she was the Best person i would encounter at restaurant. She was simply the best and overall great.

Got change from one of the sweet girls working for the air machine, which said the air was working but the vacuum wasn’t working which means someone went out there to put the sign on it. I needed air anyways. Put $2 dollars on the machine, nothing. Went back in to say the air wasn’t working. The very feminine man said it wasn’t their machine or problem to request my change back from the vendor. It’s on your property, and you obviously went out and covered the vacuum slot up. When I said why don’t you cover the air up if it doesn’t work, he said if I talk to him like that I can leave the store. Luckily, I had things to go do or we could’ve really talked about it. Manager or not, don’t talk to people like that. Yes, I called you a clown. The girls there are sweet, I’d say he’s probably a little sweet too with that attitude. Probably should find another job if he can’t do lottery and keep his cool.

I absolutely love coming here just to see Sheila. The service that she has provided over 16 years is incredible. Her customer service always makes my day at no point in time do I ever feel uncomfortable when asking a question or needing a service done. Sheila has always been a ray of sunshine. One thing about me is I absolutely love consistency, loyalty, and respect. Sheila Not only was their professionally every time I needed her assistance in the store but there was a very personal family matter. I needed assistance with the community with and she jumped in feet first and helped any way that she possibly could. I could never think her enough for everything that she has done and all of her hard work and dedication. She truly is a rare individual and deserves to be recognized as she makes a difference on a daily basis !!!

I’ve gone to this store since 2001! I sometimes just stop by to see Ms. Sheila Walsh’s smiling face!!! She has always be a pleasant and helpful clerk. It’s nice to see familiar faces and she is the one. I absolutely love her dedication and loyalty to her job at Dodges Chicken. I say give that woman a raise and a bonus! It’s also a plus that they have the cheapest gas and cigarette prices on this side of town!

I worked at Dodge's a few years ago, and everything about it made me happy! The food is addictive and the friendly atmosphere is very welcoming. I loved working with Ms Sheila. She made working there feel like I was working with family. She truly cares about everyone and does her best to make their day.

So this is my second time ever being in a dodges !! The fist time was horrible but this time it was perfect the lady Chey helped me and she was smiling she answered all my questions very polite I just want to say thank you

I needed Money Services so I went to Dodges. I get gas & icees there & have seen Shiela helping people with their money needs for a long time. Shiela knew just what I needed & gave me prompt& courtesy service. Of course I’m not surprised at this. Shiela is always busy stocking shelves, cleaning up the drink areas & even mopping! Oh, I’ve observed her troubleshooting customers’ needs who needed help of some sort or other. She’s an asset to the Dodges Corporation!

On July 18,2023,I decided to grab some food for our family beach trip.We stopped in and the food was so good and plentiful. I bit into the wings in my vehicle as I was driving away. I stopped, put my car in reverse and went back inside to get more wings because at this point everyone in the vehicle wanted more...so good, so juicy and fresh! I was served both times by Sean and he was an extremely nice person.I plan on visiting again the next time I'm in Florida! Please keep up the consistency Sean! Good food and pleasant employees.Thank You!

I have been coming here for over 20 years. So much has changed over this time. To me it has all been for the better. I always tell people that a company can't fix a problem if they don't know there is one. If you see something that you don't think is right, let the management know. If you don't say anything then don't expect it to change. That's on you. If you do say something and it doesn't get fixed then that is on the company. Don't expect something to get fixed in a day or two. Most corporations have guidelines they follow and it takes time.

Cashier accuses people of stealing gas when he mixes up pump numbers. This is a serious problem and is not okay.

Have good chicken BUT I used my debit card at the pump because I was in a hurryand didn't want to take kids into the busy store. This was on 10/30. It is now 11/19 and I am still waiting for the 43 dollars extra that was held to be returned to my card. It shouldnt take that much time for them to receive their money so wth do I not have mine yet?! Tried calling their home office and was greeted by a nice employee who sent me to a voicemail after she heard my question...REALLY?!?!?!

Horrible experience. Single bathroom with lines unheard of. In a rush and spent 20 minutes at a gas station just for two people to just get into bathroom. Then long line to even check out with slow service.

These folks seem to take the Walmart approach to cash registers. I walk in at 6:00 to a convenience store that servers breakfast, only to find that there is at least a 15 minute wait to check out at the only register open. There are plenty of employees walking around doing absolutely nothing, yet in the urgent morning time they do not feel the need to have registers open. They will no longer receive my business.

I go there to fuel company vehicles and am in a hurry. Inevitably the receipt mechanism doesn't work and I have to go inside for my receipt. With the customers inside buying lottery tickets, cigarettes, beer, chicken and everything else I have to wait for quite awhile just to get my receipt. It is very exasperating. I've mentioned it to the staff but to no avail. The only reason I continue to fuel there is because it's convenient location.

I practically live there, very well known by all the employees and LOVE it!!! Feels like CHEERS when I walk in and have never had an issue!!!

This store has continually gone downhill over the past couple of yrs. The staff are rude and show favoritism to customers that are their friends . I get accosted by panhandlers every time i go to the store. The fountain area is always filthy with spilled soda all over the cup lids and counter tops.... If this store has a goal of being a trashy "hood" store, then yall are on the right track.

Cashier is EXTREMELY rude!!! Had an attitude with my friend and blatantly said to her “I don’t want to hear your business if you don’t mind, you’re in a gas station, it’s kind of rude.” She was very rude about it and it was really uncalled for.

I come here sometimes for a biscuit before going to work but issue is with customer service. You'll have a line of people waiting to check out with one person waiting on them yet his coworkers are all standing around doing nothing. I repeated myself several times and they still couldn't understand what I was asking for. If they can't understand you might as well just put the tobacco products where we can get them ourselves.

Dodge's DOES Have Everything you need from a Convenience store, BUT, they don't want your business enough to open early enough to serve workers. 8 a.m. is far beyond any working man's starting time. It's a shame too cuz it really is a nice place for breakfast, gas, cigarettes, etc etc etc

I had my dad go get me a 2 piece chicken meal. He paid $5.34 for to chicken legs. He had no idea until after I opened it. Horrible! No biscuit or wedges!

Lorrie is a name of one of the women that works there. You can truly tell she is a miserable and she definitely passes that to customers. I usually give people a pass, because no one is perfect. After several times watching here mistreat other people and myself, I would highly recommend not coming here.
