We tried Nando’s in 2021 when we visited London. Our first bite on the chicken was impressively delicious and we were so happy to see they have their locations in DC. Their decor was cozy and artsy but service still had room for improvement. Food was overall decent and outstanding as fast food. Their chicken thigh was juicy and flavorful. We love most of the sides, especially grilled cauliflower and brussel sprouts.

This was one of the best Nando’s locations I have been at. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful and they went out of their way to grant our requests. The vibe was upbeat and the food was fantastic. I had a pleasant conversation with the manager, he was proactive and fully invested in making this location one of the best Nando’s in DC.

We really enjoyed Nando's. The portions were perfect and the mango sauce was really amazing. My son is a sorta picky teenager and he loved his plain chicken skewers. The online app was easy to navigate but the staff was happy to help if the need arose. They made sure we had everything we needed even though they were getting pretty busy. We were there around 7:30 on a Saturday.

deeply disappointed with the service I received from your restaurant last night. I placed an order online valued at around $70-$80, only to find that half of it was missing upon delivery. Upon contacting your restaurant, I was informed that two bags were given to the driver, but I received only one, containing items worth approximately $20. This falls significantly short of the value of my original order. I appreciate being transferred to the supervisor, who assured me that the issue would be resolved, and I would receive a refund. However, despite their commitment to call me back, I have not received any communication. This situation is incredibly frustrating and feels like a blatant case of being ripped off.

The food lived up to the Nando's expectation, the Nautgy Nata was good too! Loved the warm interior design. The manager gave us a free drink when they packed the food as takeaway instead of dine in. The noise level inside was very loud though.

The place and decor was very good. Good selection of drinks and beer. We ordered their signature dishes - Rainbow bowl and Peri Peri bowl with chicken thighs. We ordered one with lemon herb flavor and other with medium spice. They switched the flavors on the bowls. Irrespective of that, the bowl was excellent to eat. The chicken was very well marinated and grilled. The kicker is you pick the sauces that you want to add to your food when it gets to your table. We had the lemon, garlic based and spicy sauces. This added some additional kick to the food. We also ordered fries with perinaise (their concoction or mayo and Peri Peri sauce). It was uber good. We have been to Nandoo"s in South Africa and Dubai. So when we saw this in DC area we said we should go here. The big difference was the way they cook with the sauces. Here you add the sauce yourself after the food is cooked vs they add the sauces as they cook. This makes a huge difference the Taste and flavor. Overall a must try place.

My pita wrap was good, but the Mac n cheese was not. It also was cold. Nonetheless I really appreciate the servers attentiveness to me on a Monday night.

The alcohol content of the cocktail we ordered was very low. After stating that, they renewed it for us. The manager is extremely understanding. Chicken was fresh and delicious!

I went to Nando’s only because I miss going there back in the UK 🇬🇧 after moving here. Felt nostalgic 💭🙇‍♀️ Finally got to enjoy something familiar again in a different country. Loved the chicken and their hot sauce, magical 🧙‍♀️! The only thing I didn’t like was their services, it wasn’t the best. Hope they do better… 鸡肉太美味了 치킨은 놀라울 정도로 맛있었어

Welcome to Flavor Town! This is a MUST TRY for anyone in the DC area. I had never had Peri Peri chicken before but I ordered the half chicken (medium level sauce) with mashed potatoes and Peri Mac. All of it was phenomenal. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. All of their side sauces are amazing, two of my favorite were the lemon & herb and the garlic sauce. I did not get to try the mango lime but I will be back next year!

I heard about this restaurant from my friend. I was looking for an opportunity to dine here and finally made it on a hungry Sunday. The food selection, presentation and the taste is simply spectacular. The selection of cocktails and mocktails are also good. The Peri-Peri sauce is just delicious and the chicken pieces are too juicy. The only disappointing part of the restaurant is that you have to wait in a queue every time you come here as the restaurant is full. The staff is helpful and prices are neither cheap nor high looking at the place and quality of food served. Great Experience.

The food was delicious! The spices were mild and quantity was good. The atmosphere was so calm.. no loud music, no smoking. A good place to enjoy with your family and friends. It's clean and spacious too. The staff was very polite.

I walked a mile out of my way to visit this Nando’s and it is way totally worth it. Great service and amazing food! A perfect lunch stop in the city!

This ain’t it. I live in the south and there is a chicken shack on just about every corner and all of them yes ALL OF THEM beat this. When the fries and dipping sauce are the stars of the meal just say goodnight. The Nando’s Best had me saying if this is the best nando can do and own a whole restaurant, I need to get a business plan ASAP. The whole sandwich was bland and flavorless and the wings were wack. I had to find the waiters for napkins, refills and to go boxes. I understand the contactless ordering on the app but contactless shouldn’t equate to less service. You’ve got to train the young people in basic customer service.

I love Nando’s and have been to a number of them across many cities/countries. I typically find the food (especially the chicken) fantastic, but I found that the food here was just ‘okay’ on the whole. Not bad, not great - wasn’t entirely certain all the things I ordered were fresh. They have a new sweet potato side, however, which was very good

I took my kid there for a dinner and he enjoyed it. He loved the plain chicken and rice. He danced and said he was super happy.

Their food is always good! Never disappoints. It's a challenge to find a parking space. However, if lucky, you can find one on the side .

Outstanding African food with an American twist. US Nando's Peri Peri. A decent place for fast casual dining. My only issue is they try to make this sot down dining experience when it’s not. Just let me order from the counter instead of for of me to order through the app, which does two unnecessary things 1) collect my data and 2) push me into tipping for what is really just bringing my food to the table, which can easily be accomplished by calling my order number. Just let me order at the counter and call my number, they way it was a year ago. Quit trying to make fetch happen.

Chicken is delicious. Perfectly juicy with robudt flavor. I recommend getting the 1/2 chicken. Delicious fries and mash potatoes. Extra hot is not actually as very spicy, but delicious nonetheless. I liked that you could order and pay via qr code.

Nando’s 1/2 chicken is the most delicious and tender chicken I’ve had. The medium sauce is a good base but make sure you ask to try some of their other sauces. Also the staff is super friendly and helpful when dealing with a noob.

I visited this establishment twice for take out dinner. The chicken is prepared to perfection always well cooked and very favorable. The rice is seasoned very well, and the cole slaw is blended just right. Actually, the best I have tasted in a while, and you can not go wrong with the garlic bread, overall really good eating.

The space is large with great ambiance. Interesting food. We got there 20 min before closing wanting to eat in. The server/hostess went out of her way to make it work. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations. The 5th star is for the amazing service!
