Gorgeous place , although it was closed when I visited, the outside of this place is beautiful in person. Such a good energy and such a wonderful place. Beautiful for pictures and to just walk around. 💫✨

So we had stopped by to take a picture of the beautiful community center. It was obvious a church reclaimed by artists and is vibrant and so colorful. I have never seen anything like it. Inside is urban, community art and it honestly is inviting for all types. There are also artwork outside to admire people's creativity and artistic ability to appreciate. Parking is a little difficult as it is non-existent and any street parking is permit for the apartment complex next to it.

Beautiful community space. Tons of art and gallery space. Nice outdoors area. Great indoor space for community events. Not very Metro accessible so if you’re planning a visit, I recommend coming by car or being prepared to walk. But once you get here, it’s easy to spend an hour or two just walking around and looking and what there is to see. Take some time out of a weekend to check it out.

10/27/23 Neat building. Couldn’t get a picture in front of the building due to tents being in the way. Parking is available by the soccer field and there is a porter potty near by.

One of the most unique wedding venues I've ever photographed a celebration at in the past 7 years. Every part of this building is awesome. So many cool spots for portraits of couples, and the upstairs, street art covered reception space is epic. Just doesn't get cooler than this. ig @smackthatbird

This is one of the premier art enclaves in D.C. The newest collection features a dad capturing pictures of his son in a space suit in numerous different scenarios to illustrate the exploration and continuous discovery of children. From the evanescent colors adorning the building to the awesome and kind people who run the spot, this is a must see for D.C.

Stopped by to take some photos. This place is fantastic. Would love to see some live music here...as I am sure the venue would be amazing for a great band. Definatly a must see for the artsy fartsy type.

I went to Candlelight: Vivaldi last night put on by FeverUp at Culture House and it was Absolutely AMAZING. This was held in the basement of the art gallery (which I really want to visit after seeing the reviews). There was a small stage with ~90 folding chairs, a small bar, a nice wide middle isle, and great acoustics. There were a couple of small things that I mentioned during my feedback survey that I hope FeverUp might do differently in the future. But on the whole, last night was the most talented quartet I've ever heard...playing beautiful music and educating/entertaining us between scores... in beautiful ambiance. It was truly beautiful. I can ONLY imagine how long it took to set everything up. I have already booked more events and can't wait until the next one. BTW, there's not really any parking nearby so I would keep that in mind when deciding on footwear. It took me ~10mins to walk from Waterfront Metro...but I walk fast.

We took our family here for the hip hop pop up museum and it was a lot of fun. The kids loved learning about the history of hip hop and seeing the memorabilia from the various eras.

This was my first time going to this session and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was WELCOMING and NON-JUDGMENTAL. I am a entry level dancer with no experience at all. So, I was a little worried about how this was going to work, but the instructor O she made it a fun and confidence gaining experience. I will recommend anyone to attend if your looking for fun and building confidence.

Sounds like a hunted house 🏠... yea, Demon 😈 Joy, Faith, and the fraud star that changed her name to "Ogechi D Ogbonna"... I mean, how can so many people have the same name, the same last name and the same car 🚗 from Hertz rental car. Um, ...Kevin! Haha

My husband, Eric, and I got married at the Culture House with 145 guests. Both ourselves and the guests are overjoyed with the experience we had. The space is very unique and beautiful but not only that, the staff from Lynn to Adam were very responsive and super collaborative in working with our needs. Special shoutout to Mike!! He helped make our event over the top wonderful. We highly, highly recommend the venue. It was PERFECT!! Thank you endlessly~!

*Heart Love Eyes* (x 1,000) We have nothing else like this in DC. For so long DC lacked the urban art culture that so many other cities had booming way before us. So it's really lovely to see all the wonderful additions in DC, and Blind Whino is one! The building itself is a beautiful historic church. And then you add gorgeous colors and art to it?! DUH! How could it not be amazing?! So many weddings and private events happen here, and I can totally see why. Such a wonderful venue space. On top of being a venue space, Blind Whino has rooms that are transformed into art galleries. They feature different artists and exhibits. Although small, definitely a great space. Again, the building alone is amazing enough art to see! I could stare at Blind Whino for days and never get bored. Beautiful. Free parking lot. And plenty of street parking.

I came here for a candlelight concert last week. It is definitely a dope spot and I will be back another time just to explore the space more and see the art.
