Excellent customer service who are willing to help with the drink combination. Unfortunately a little dated interior and a bit dirty inside.

July 10, 2022 Our first time here — and our kiddos loved their Bobae drinks. The friendly team members took their time explaining what flavors would be good for kids. So helpful!! They both had a chocolate milk base, with tapioca balls, “popping balloons” and a splash of vanilla(?). Our son had the mango-flavored popping balloons and our daughter had the strawberry popping balloons. Perfect drinks for a hot summer day in Seattle suburbia 🙌🏼💯👍🏼🎉🥳

I have had the pleasure of going to the Woodinville location of Bobae consistently for a year now. The owners—Karma and Joey, but, their whole staff as well—run this creative space beyond reproach. They have really embodied Starbucks’ philosophy of the third place. Bobae is a safe, welcoming place where the staff genuinely care about you, whether it’s by following pandemic protocols and wearing masks, or by taking the time to not only learn your name, but, remember it. As for the bubble tea, it is spectacular. They have popular staples such as Nitro OG Milk Tea and Nitro Bae-Kok Thai Tea that I love. But, it’s their rotating monthly creative menu that really seals the deal for me. It really gives everyone the opportunity to try out something new. And the fact that it’s only available with a known end date makes it a bittersweet affair, but, there’s always something new to discover and enjoy the following month! My favorite month is whenever they bring back their ube series. I know I’m not alone in this feeling. They also make delicious cream-filled doughnuts every month. They are limited-time only and I think the most recent batch (February 2022) sold out in two minutes. Yes, they are that good. Bobae also has a brand-new location in downtown Kirkland right next to Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen, which has splendid food. Anyway, the Kirkland location of Bobae is pick-up only and the interior is incredibly romantic. Remember, Bobae is a creative space, so, they take aesthetics and atmosphere as seriously as they do their bubble tea, loose tea, coffee, baked goods, etc. Just a really good place with really good drinks and friendly people to make them for you. What could be better?

Best boba tea I’ve ever had!! I’ve honestly never had anything even similar. I got the love potion (the pink one in the photo) and it just tasted so fresh. The boba is also top tier, the perfect texture. I’ve gone every week since my first visit and I can’t imagine stopping. It’s just so perfect! I highly recommend the love potion, sapphire moonlight, and the nitro Thai tea. Though I’m sure every single thing on their menu is great.

I have been going to Bobae in Woodinville for over two years. I LIVE in Kirkland but I would make the trek for the best boba in the area. They’ve got the absolute best tea flavor, true real flavors, nothing artificial, and you can taste the difference! I always make sure to try at least one of their special drinks every month, but my usual Bae Milk Tea (a brown sugar earl grey milk tea) is just so perfect every time it’s hard not to order. I am so grateful and excited that they’ve opened a Kirkland location, and I will be coming even more frequently!

Wonderful place to be, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I come in quite often for a Vietnamese iced coffee, by far my favorite! Though I will occasionally pivot to a strawberry matcha; their ceremonial process delivers a wonderful cup, every time. As someone who used to serve craft coffee and has a storied career in customer service, I have to give kudos to how the team works under pressure. I’ve been in during rushes, and during quiet hours, the work ethic and friendliness doesn’t change. I urge anyone to check this place out, chat with the owners and staff—they’re very passionate about what they do and those are the type of people I love to spend my money with.

I've been here a couple of times now and the quality of drinks is consistently amazing! This past time I got the Woodinville chai milk tea and my friend got the og nitro milk tea both with boba. The chai was really tasty and had a strong cardamon flavor coming through. The og nitro was also good. The back tea flavor is strong but not bitter. And both drinks were deliciously creamy! The boba was also a really good consistency and not mushy at all. Pros: Extremely tasty drinks Prompt and knowledgeable service Can adjust your sweetness level and milk if you'd like a milk alternative Cons: Not much indoor seating

Love this place!!! They are always super friendly and kind. Lots of flavors to choose. I got the sapphire moonlight and the first sip made me feel like I was in a flower shop. Sooo refreshing and good.

We got Green White Red or whichever the name is and strawberry lemonade and they both tasted amazing!!! They really put thought into their flavors! Their matcha is really high grade and the men taking and making our orders were really nice and made the process way more enjoyable than at your local place. Worth the extra 2-3$ per drink.

I had a hot bobae and it was super delicious. I thought the staff who helped me order was fantastic at explaining every single drink I asked about, which seemed like all of them! I went here on a friend's recommendation who drives completely out of the way to get to here. I like that they don't use powders here. All around loved it.

Very sweet staff and lovely drinks. I got the Sapphire Moonlight with super tender tapioca boba. If you’re specifically a fan of lavender you will love this delicious and beautiful option.

Got the Ube Matcha, was really good, not to sweet for 50% sugar. Strong matcha taste with the Ube, would recommend. Double check your order they messed ours and another person's up, ask to fix and they'll happily fix it.

The vibes of the shop are very relaxed. Very colorful. The person who took my order was friendly and helped me navigate the large varieties of drinks the shop had to offer while educating me on what makes them different from other boba shops. Overall, I was very impressed with the place. I ordered the September special, jasmine and peach. You can taste the difference in quality in comparison to other boba shops.

The drinks are wonderfully unique and delicious. Bakery items have all been pretty good, although I can only comment to the gluten free items. Have loved anything sesame here. Recommend ordering ahead, otherwise it is generally a 10+ min wait. Heads up: they will take cash, but won’t make change (and you can’t do a partial cash/partial electronic payment, which makes no sense because not asking for cash back-??). Overall I love this place, but only as an occasional treat because it’s rather expensive.

Bobae runs are a staple for me and my sister and they should be for you too. This adorable coffee & tea spot offers lots of fun options to try, as well as small treats (macarons with asian flavors, baked goods, etc). I think my favorite part of the experience is their seasonal menu, where they offer a batch of themed drinks each month based on fresh ingredients and combinations. Pic shows their Thai tea & fresh pumpkin seasonal combo. Once mixed it is godly. I always look forward to the time of year when they have fresh mango & offer a MANGO STICKY RICE DRINK. Extremely addicting and healing for us SE Asian folks, lol. The staff here are incredibly helpful and are happy to help you decide between choices and explain sweetness, topping pairings, flavor profiles etc. Shoutout to Kennedy, but also everyone there rocks. You can always expect above and beyond kindness and thoughtfulness at Bobae!!

I got Thai tea with boba and my husband got strawberry lemonade with lychee jelly 👍 very good! Thai tea is always a hit or miss for me and this was perfect sweetness! I think it’s because I’m lactose intolerant so they didn’t put the condense milk but that was perfect for me. Also the boba texture was on point and if you love boba you know what I mean 😅 we don’t normally come out this way so this was our first time and we love it! Thank you!

The cashier asked if this was our first time and gave us a bit of mumbo jumbo about how they make their own tea. After my daughter took a few sips of her drink she threw her drink out. I ordered the Nitro OG milk tea with boba. It tasted like chocolate milk... The boba was soggy. I likely won't be coming back.

I had such a lovely time here! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I tried the lavender tea, and it was absolutely delicious—highly recommend! Oh, and the strawberry milk tea was a real treat too. Can't wait to come back! 😊

Order online and pick up! There is always a long line here. One time the cashier told me it would be 25 min wait til I got my drink. There are 4/5 tables in here. They have wifi which you have to ask them for the password. No outdoor seating, as this place is part of a plaza. Any time I am in woodinville or Kirkland I would get a drink here but not a place I would go out of the way. The staff they hire is always really great with explaining their drinks.

Walked in to a long line but don’t let that keep you from enjoying one of these amazing drinks. The line moves very quickly, Thai iced milk tea was amazing. Tapioca pearls are the best I’ve had, just right IMO. Clean atmosphere with friendly workers. Lemon cake bites were delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. 10/10 would bring my family back here again! Need to give the donuts a try sometime!

Absolutely love this place. It's beautiful and clean on the inside. Lovely kind people take your order. You can taste the passion in their food. The drinks themselves are a work of art. I drive from the town over because of the quality this place puts out. Whole menu is delicious you can't go wrong!

Great customer service and great vibes here! But the boba was the star! They have nitro style drinks which are very interesting. They also have seasonal drinks as well. If you are looking for some great boba and great service look no further than this small store in Woodinville.
