First time trying a lobster roll and I was impressed! So glad I finally got to try the market! They actually have a nice outdoor seating. The food came out pretty fast and looked amazing. The lobster roll was delicious, so much flavor. The crab in a bag was better than I thought, definitely meaty! I’d come back!

The food here is phenomenal! Love that the rolls are served warm and not cold. I actually preferred the crab roll over the lobster but you really can’t go wrong with either. Chowder + sour dough bread = best combo ever. Pricey but so worth it.

A warm lobster roll on a very rainy day. The town was getting set up for trick or treating, but I was served up a buttery, garlicky, Connecticut-style lobster roll. The meat was juicy and generous, but the only reason this didn’t get 5 stars was the fries. The fries were just ok, little to no salt, and bigger cut than I would’ve liked, but this is all personal preference and I would definitely get another lobster roll in a heartbeat.

MARKET definitely hit the spot. This tasty spot is in Edmonds is definitely a treat. They are currently only seating outdoors (order everything with the host then grab a table!). We went in the evening, so it was a little chilly so I’d definitely recommend bringing a jacket. FISH N CHIPS : Crispy beer battered rock fish, fries, tartar, lemon. **It was also served with some sort of chopped pea and herb accoutrement that added a nice fresh touch! The batter was crispy and the fish was tender. Nom. FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH : Crispy fried chicken breast on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, house made pickles and garlic chili aioli, served with fries. **The chicken was so tender and satisfying. The sauce that came on the side was a nice chili spiced sauce. We wished the pickles were a little more tangy, but still tasty. We can’t wait to come back to try the crab or lobster roll!

My wife and I came here on a beautiful Saturday at about 1pm. It's smack in the middle of downtown Edmonds, so parking can be a challenge, especially on a sunny Saturday. We found parking 3 blocks away and were planning on a walk-about anyway. This is a neat walk-up sidewalk eatery. It has a busy vibe to it and an east coast, coastal town feel. Edmonds is a waterfront town with deep fishing history, so this seafood menu makes sense. Extensive menu with options for all of your party. The line can get 10 people deep, but they are great at getting the food out. We ordered a lobster roll (half for $21) and clam chowder in a sourdough bowl ($13). Lobster rolls are always spendy. The order came out in 10 mins - fast. The lobster was very fresh and the roll locally made, very good. The piping hot, thick New England chowder in the sourdough bowl was a delight. Not spicy, thick with lots of clams. Rustic with really fresh sourdough, a fantastic combination. There's actually covered outside seating tucked away in cozy booths with heaters for cooler days. There's also sidewalk tables. We sat on a sidewalk bench nearby. A unique experience in Edmonds with quick service for great food. Wait times for restaurants in Edmonds can be long, so they hit a sweet spot here. 5 out of 5, if your nearby it's worth it! ~~ Jack

The seafood sandwiches at The Market are outstanding. We ordered the shrimp roll, crab roll, and a Connecticut style lobster roll. The lobster roll was better than most lobster rolls I’ve eaten in New England. The shrimp roll was outstanding. The crab roll was good, but a little dry. The regular French fries were exceptional, the garlic fries were ok, but I’d suggest the regular. The servers were friendly and the service was amazing. If you’re in the area you must try The Market for the lobster rolls.

The hot lobster roll is so yummy! The lobster was very juicy and the bread was so fluffy. My only complaint / star deduction is that there’s not a lot of seating and it’s first come, first serve. So be prepare to have to wait for a seat with your food…

The crab roll is phenomenal, I liked it a lot more than the lobster roll, it tasted a lot more fresh and flavorful. That's not to say the lobster rolls were bad it wasn't the highlight of my order. I did really enjoy the lobster fries though. It was very juicy and flavorful. I'd give this place 93 claws out of 100

Had my order ready at exactly 11:15 Everything was excellent Lobster roll was especially good, nice buttery perfectly toasted bread, good amount of perfectly cooked lobster The softshell crab was very light and flavorful, although perhaps too light. Fish tacos had an amazing mango salsa, great fish, great tortilla Chicken sandwich had a crunchy breading and I think the chicken was cooked fine. Great pickles and bread. The clam chowder had a lot of clams, nice and rich, devoured the chowder soaked bowl. Edit: round two, got the shrimp tacos this time, absolutely perfect, the shrimp and grits were a bit sour for my taste but still very good. The fried oysters were perfect although I felt the sauce was a tad salty. Also got the hot lobster sandwich again because it's just perfect.

We went so I could get a lobster roll and my partner got the chicken strips because he doesn't like seafood. The hot lobster roll was delicious and I would definitely come back if I'm in the area just to eat it. It's great that they have the chicken strips for a non seafood option for picky eaters though they are kind of meh. I wish there was more seating as I think we were lucky to get the last table available but there's not much that can be done about that with the limited space. The service was excellent and the employee was very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely delicious! A must visit! There were so many things I wanted to order but had to narrow it down - we had clam chowder, oysters, and lobster rolls! Everything was delicious and easy to share. My only hesitation is on the price - I’m sure they’ve had to increase prices due to opening more locations. With that being said the price for a full lobster roll is quite pricey.

Well if you want a good place for fish n chips this hits the spot. I wanted to try this since Rick Steves recommended it and hearing great things. I loved the food. The fish n chips portion was about right for the price. The rockfish definitely makes a flavor difference over cod. Tartar was excellent as well. Mind you in winter you’ll want to bundle up but other than that. I’d come here again when it’s warmer.

The food is really good here. I was sad to hear they only had calamari for restaurant week but was happily surprised by how tasty the shrimp and grits was. Flavor bomb! Son got chicken strips and fries, both were really good and hooaband got shrimp sando and crab in a bag. Both were yummy. Support local!

Words cannot describe how great the food at Market Edmonds is. Every single item we ordered was amazing. Our son gobbled the Poke Bowl. The Katsu Shrimp Curry was hearty, rich, and delicious. But the best item, by far, was the Lobster Bisque. It was creamy, luxurious, and had HUGE chucks of lobster meat. The toasted bread for dipping added a great crunch. The cute little bistro is nestled within an adorable square in Edmonds. A friend recommended Market Edmonds, and I am so happy we walked 30 minutes to get there because it did not disappoint.

Trio gives us a chance to try out three offerings in one box. The crab roll tastes slightly better than the other two lobster roll somehow in a more juicy or fresh way. The hot lobster roll is a bit too chewy to my taste. Overall great place to enjoy sunshine, chat with friends and have something good to eat. (Though the waiting time is a it long. I saw many ordered pick up using apps

I only ordered one small Connecticut lobster roll with light butter and the size is more like a half sandwich. A little bit over priced but the taste is not bad. Hope they can open an option of only lobster roll without fries in future.

Love the crab and lobster roll. Crab roll is a mix of different crab. And lobster roll is using Maine lobster. Crab roll might be better because the dressing is kinda cover the lobster taste. Sitting might be a problem because you just pick an empty table and you might not find one.

Well, we have frequented this place often. Thought food was decent, but when my wife ordered fish chips where they told her fish pieces are served by the weight. They gave her one piece, next table got two pieces of similar size. When my wife went to complain, suppose manager was rude and asked her what is that she wants. We will not be going back.

My favorite place around for “comfort seafood.” All outdoor dining, but it’s all-weather with overhangs and heaters that keep you warm-ish during the colder days. My favorite is the crispy shrimp roll which has a distinct savory and sweet profile. Upgrade the fries to chowder fries and you’ll never be the same.

So yummy! Got the hot dungeons crab roll, lobster bisque and crab cakes. Was absolutely amazing! Worst part is that there’s no indoor seating. They have tables outside, so bring a jacket if it’s cold out!

Suns out and everyone wants seafood! There could be a line, there could be no seating...try to go at off hours to avoid all that. The line was fairly short when I arrived Saturday around Noon but all the seating was taken. People take tables then have someone wait in line so it's a bit of a mess. Honestly, if it's busy it's not even worth the stress of the situation for me. We did end up snagging two stools... The issue though, is if you don't have a table when ordering they give you your food in takeout containers. By the time I got my shrimp tacos they were a soggy mess. While tasty they were definitely a fork & knife situation. The lobster roll was in better shape. So go at off hours but if you can't be prepared for an "every person for themselves" table battle or to stroll down to the water with your takeout.

Gem of a place you can have some of the best seafood like lobster rolls Seattle coast has to offer. You have to order the food from the counter and grab a seat at the heated patio (please note it can get busier during peak hours).

We have been meaning to try this place for months! It was everything we wanted it to be! Everything we ordered was amazing. Customer service was awesome! One of our kids ordered something she ended up not liking and when we went up to order something else for her they comp'd it. It wasn't their fault, it was ours for ordering the wrong thing but they took care of it anyway. Truly a great place and wonderful food!

Fries were standard, soft shell crab was a bit limp. That being said, the lobster roll was phenomenal: buttery crisp bread packed with a double portion of claw meat. Definitely worth the stop if the roll is what you're after.

My Connecticut Lobster Roll was great. Lots of nice Lobster with the full size. I was a little shocked how much it cost. But I'm from the heartland so maybe it's normal in Washington to pay $32 for a sandwich with real lobster. While the lobster was great, my daughter didn't care for her crab roll on the gluten free bun. The bun was fine, but the crab was so sparse it was more like eating thinly spread crab salad. If you are gluten free you would understand that makes for a bad meal because gluten free bread is merely palatable. You need a lot of the main component of the sandwich to have a good experience. I was sad for her because it was her first crab roll and because she is gluten free and allergic to shrimp she has a hard time finding good food. I liked the froze, but the glass was very small.

I’ve been coming here to order take out for the past two years and finally dined in (outdoors). They have a little covered patio with heating, tables and chairs-along with the stools for bar style seating. This time around we ordered the Fish and Chips with Garlic Fries, Crispy Shrimp roll, Crab roll and new Lobster Bisque. AS USUAL everything was delicious. The crispy shrimp roll packed so much flavor. Love that they have a rotating menu with specials, my last favorite menu item was a Shrimp Katsu Curry, I hope they bring it back sometime.

Delicious and fresh seafood; order came out quickly, despite being busy. Walked up at 12:15pm, on a busy sunny Saturday, and joined the line of 3 other couples. We stood in line for 10 minutes (through no fault of the actual business, one of the couples had a lot of questions) before we ordered from the outside counter. We found a free table in the outside eating area (so beautiful on a sunny day), and our order was ready within 10 minutes. The Hot PNW Crab Roll was absolutely delicious (I can’t stop thinking about it), absolutely worth the $21 for Half or $32 for Full roll. The Crab Doughnut was different, but tasty. The fish and chips were crispy but overall bland, obviously better with the tartar sauce. The Lychee lemonade was so good, and had a full lychee in it! Overall- definitely recommend.
