I've always wanted to try Pho and have heard so many good things about Saigon Cafe so we decided to give it a go. Wow! We ordered both a Chicken and Beef Pho along with a Classic Banh Mi to split and everything was so delicious. We ordered everything to go and everything was perfectly packed. The 12 hour stock is seasoned very well and was very aromatic, and the additional sides that are added to the soup are all very fresh and accompany the soup perfectly. The sandwich was amazing with the spicy mayo and I honestly could've eaten an entire one. I will definitely come back and you should too!

I was looking for another Pho place but this one also came up. Reviews were good and I decided to go there. I am a die hard fan of Pho. Street and metered parking 2 hour limit. Only outdoor seating now with adequate heaters. Their take out was doing brisk business. It was 5:40 pm e s t. No nonsense but respectful lady took my order. I ordered Beef Pho. She offered tea, unlike many places, here tea came in a tall cup, nice fragrant but warm. I asked for hot cup, it was presented instantly. It’s Southern Vietnam cuisine, as the name is also. Pho came, steaming hot, nice and fragrant and the best soup spoon I ever have been given. See pic. Fantastic taste. Since it was so hot, beef had become little hard and chewy, i have had far better beef and the cut was done by scissors so the clean strip cuts looked like fake meet, looked like, not actually fake. I found the quantity a little less, both noodle and meat. Nevertheless, very nice seasoning, great broth. Will give my best rating to broth. It is really good. Price is on the higher side. Well it is COVID. I will revisit with my friend and partner in crime for our best Pho places quest and repost the second experience with our combined feedback. Stay tuned. ANOTHER VISIT ON FEB 25 2022 Came in with my friend and it was once again a pleasant experience and assessed that their Pho is definitely one of the best we have experienced so far. It is not as salty as many other places tend to be. The indoor seating is open and it is upgraded. Place was packed and patrons were waiting in que. It was about 6:30 PM. Their take out counter was also very busy. Had Fresh Summer role with shrimp, Grilled Meat Pao with Pork and my favorite Beef Pho. Their tea has a flowery smell and taste, must have. Needless to say, all three selections were great, love the Pho and Pao was distinctly Pork flavor. The peanut sauce was perfect for Summer role. Quite understandably they want to cycle the patrons quicker, felt little bit rushed but it was polite and all was good. Our meal for two was about $48 and change, slightly north of our usual places, and justified with the quality of food and service and the ambiance. Strongly recommend this place, I would be a regular for a long long time to come..

Solid spot for pho and grilled pork over rice. They also have a good selection of vegetarian dishes. The pho is delicious, but the service was a bit slow. The size is a pretty decent portion. Service is efficient. Street metered parking.

Fantastic experience at Saigon Cafe in Millburn. The restaurant is very tiny but so so cute! The service is quick and the food is absolutely delicious. One hundred percent recommend the grilled beef banh mi and the beef pho is phenomenal. The Vietnamese coffee with jelly is ok too. Definitely recommend making a stop here if you’re in the area. Now for my standard COVID comments as of March 2022. All servers are wearing masks and the location is very clean. Seating area isn’t too big but it’s not a very crowded spot either. Felt comfortable eating indoors.

Absolutely delicious! We were in the area visiting the Turtle Back Zoo. After working up an appetite, we looked for a Vietnamese restaurant nearby. Saigon Cafe was highly rated so we decided to try it out. Seating is outdoors due to COVID which we were perfectly fine with. It was in the mid-40s but they had very nice heaters that kept us toasty during our meal. We ordered summer rolls. Very good but nothing could top the pork over vermicelli. WOW! The pork was so flavorful and the portion size was perfect. It may just have been the best Vietnamese I have had yet! I don't typically write reviews but I had such a delicious meal, I wanted to share. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the Union County area because of their savory pho, deliberately minimal menu, and overall quality. I first found them just before the pandemic and was able to order a few times during. Nowadays I’m usually here at least once a week. My go-tos are their beef pho which I appreciate for their savory broth, and often their chicken summer rolls. They have a house chili sauce that’s excellent, quite different from the standard sriracha, pepper sauce, and hoisin though they have all those as well. Parking is plentiful though usually street or nearby lots. When they are busy be warned you may need to wait for a seat! They have a small air conditioned interior that is up a small flight of stairs, as well as 2 outdoor areas. Give them a try if you’re in the area!

Love the renovated dining room and the outdoor seating on the patio. The food is authentic and delicious, especially the spring rolls and banh mi sandwiches. I prefer the grilled pork banh mi, which is served on a crusty baguette and served with a side of Sriracha mayo. Love the salty, sweet, tangy combo. The rice plates are fabulous too! The grilled chicken was perfectly marinated and juicy.

Best pho in NJ our first time here and we impressed with the smell of pho from the parking so we tried and it’s beyond our expectation they have seats on side the patio and also very nice inside, beside the pho we also tried the lunch box combo with fried rice and park it’s super delicious. 10 out of 10 also you should try the sparking lemonade highly recommend for friends and family gathering.

Went to the Cafe on a weekday evening, it's a small but cozy Cafe in downtown Millburn. We ordered the Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee to begin with, the coffee drink was a bit strong but tasted great!. Then had the Fried Spring rolls, chicken pao bun and chicken banh mi and they all were yumm. Ordered a lemongrass pho and fried rice with grilled chicken, lemongrass soup had good flavors going for it. Finished it all off with the caramel flan which was good but could have been a bit more sweeter for my liking. We were provided with chili sauces which paired well with all dishes. Have to mention the service, as the person serving us was friendly and very helpful and gave us instructions on how best to have each dish. Will be back again!

Cozy spot for Pho, noodles and many other dishes. My favorite order is the Veggies and Tofu spicy lemon grass noodles. It’s very flavorful, a little spicy, healthy and all vegan. There are places to sit both outside and inside. Can’t wait to try other dishes.

Food was delicious and service was very fast. Got the grilled pork with fine vermicelli, it was well cooked but still juicy and the lightly pickled veggies added nice flavor. The chili oils had a nice kick to them. Iced coffee was smooth and not too sweet.

Amazing time at this place! Me and my family came here for a late lunch. My aunt had already been here so she knew it was goooood. It was wonderful trying a different cultures food and learning about the foods through services! Very clean place as well and soft ambiance music set the calm tone. Definitely come here if you want something light yet filling!

Great little family run Vietnamese spot! The food was delicious. I feel the pho portion could be bigger, especially for the price, however it was very very tasty. They make their own fish sauce which tastes amazing in their dishes! Atmosphere is super cute! Will definitely be returning soon!

I don’t why would anyone give them less than 5 stars!! We were waiting for 20mins and it was totally worth it! The pho is one of the bests I ever had in my life, all the food was great and the owner was so nice he kept checking on us, asking what we think and if we needed anything, gave us recommendations on what to order and which sauces to use with what. The coffee and bubba tea were delicioussss and the place was nice and I clean. I wish I lived there I would’ve been a regular. Highly recommended!

One of the best Vietnamese spots I have been to!! The food is so authentic and absolutely delicious! The pho was amazing and they provide all additional fixings, sauces, and spices to truly top it off. Also the bubble tea was so good and different than most places I’ve had as they have legit chunks of whatever fruit or flavor you chose. The staff was also extremely sweet and even showed us how to eat certain apps to stick true to the culture which was such an amazing personal touch and heightened the authenticity. Will for sure be coming back and exploring even more of the menu!

A little pricier than other Vietnamese spots, but I keep coming back cause the ingredients are always fresh and the dining area is clean and bright. Spring rolls are not overly oily. Pho broth is a touch more sweet than savory. Veggie broth available for those who are plant based!

Wait staff was helpful making sure we got dishes we'd like at good spice levels. Chicken dumpling soup is a meal in itself! Rolls were tasty & my husband's shrimp and fried rice were light & perfectly cooked. Enjoyed the coldginger & honey drink- refreshing. Very nice shady outdoor eating area. 1/2 block from public parking lot. $1 for 2 hours.
