This is everything you expect from the Jersey diner all wrapped in one little package. Good solid food. Train car ambiance. Friendly service. And clean. I've heard great things about this diner, so when I was in the Key Port area I had to stop by. Highly recommended. Try the Thanksgiving turkey burger.

Broad Street Diner is one of the best diners I've been to. For diner food it's really good. It's a very small and cozy old fashioned diner. They post their specials everyday on their Facebook page. I had the Texas BBQ chicken melt and the anrgry crab cake grilled cheese for dinner here. Both sandwiches were served on Texas Toast. They were both very good, but the angry crab cake grilled cheese stole the show! It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The Texas toast was buttery, and the chipotle mayo was amazing! It was nice and cheesy too. I had the matzoh ball and the lobster bisque soup both were fair. That’s ok though because the dinners were huge, and I’d rather fill up on that. For dessert I had the Oreo and chocolate cheesecakes here for Both were good, but the cake part was dry. If your looking for a great diner I recommend going to Broad Street Diner in Keyport!

This has to be one of THE BEST diners in the USofA! We visited on 4/10/23. The morning crew was really great, very friendly, and THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! We had the following: Disco Fries, Churro Waffle, Pork Roll, Elvis French Toast and a El Desayuno Burrito. We were in town from SC, camping at Cheesequake. This was the perfect ending to our trip to see NYC and NJ. Again, really appreciate the incredibly nice staff here. I also have to say there was a really nice gentleman sitting at the bar across from our booth. He turned around and started up good conversation with us. If you are anywhere near this place, definitely check it out.

Food is always good. They have a bunch of breakfast options from eggs, pancakes, waffles etc. Portion sizes are pretty big. Bring your appetite.

The place is good. The tables are a little too close to each other. The people are nice. Service is good. My wife had the espresso chocolate chip pancakes ( too sweet for me ) but she did like it. I had the country fried steak and eggs ( excellent ) Will return for some more.

Today is our first day we tried diner in USA:) it was perfect choice! Our servant was very nice and attentive young man! We took eggs Benedict with crab cake and cinnamon raisin pancakes 🥞 only one minus - super hot 🥵 I left as I was in sauna 🧖‍♀️ maybe because the building is metal and Airconditioner did not work very well! Other than that super place nice food and we were waiting only 20 min for our table :) they accept cards 💳

As soon as you walk in you see the place is bustling with energy. The food dishes traveling by all look great! The Pork Schnitzel sandwich and award winning chili were tops! “Cousin Johnny” waited on us and he was like seeing an old friend. Kudos to the Kallas family for a great family spot!

Came here on a whim for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. The employees here are really nice. The breakfast Cuban is made with French toast and absolutely brilliant. Corned beef hash here is also really good.

This is the: Broad Street Waffle Sandwich with: fried chicken strips, sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, bacon and fried egg served with home fries and Maple syrup! When I tell u that this hits every taste pallet!! Starting with the fluffy Waffle Allll the way down to the Sausage Gravy! This sandwich is Absolutely Delicious and very filling! Needless to say I was unable to eat the whole thing but I am very much looking forward to eating the leftovers 😀 So if u get a chance stop by the Broad Street Diner in Hazlet, NJ you will be very pleased!!

I came here with my friend for breakfast and we had a great experience! Parking was easy to find with the option of street parking or a parking lot across the street, and we didn't have to wait to be sat. We did go early on a Tuesday morning so this might not always be the case. Our server was really kind and the inside had a comfortable vibe that made me feel like I was eating at home. I got eggs, pork roll, and home fries and my friend got an omelette and home fries. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. The prices were great and as two college students we had nothing to complain about! I also loved the historic pictures and articles throughout the diner, it was so interesting to read about the history of Keyport and the diner. I also love the location because the waterfront is just a block or two away. I've been here a few times when I was younger and after this trip I would definitely come back!
