Night club close to Bucharest’s Old Town. They have an outdoor bar and 2 separate rooms with air conditioner and live djs playing underground house music. They also host live bands. Their bartenders will happily make cocktails which are not on the menu.

This place used to be amazing before the pandemic. Right now it offers really bad music and bad drinks. They have a great venue but a really poor execution. The more attractive clientele has stopped visiting this place. They should really consider new management that is capable of bringing the magic back.

Waiting 40 minutes to grab a drink doesn't sounds correct but it's true , 2 bartenders on the inside bar definitely cannot keep up with the orders when they have to serve cocktails and etc and get the payments from a huge amount of people. Place may be nice but you will get faster "poppins" than a drink in here !!

I've been here for a few times for concerts or just for a night out with friends. It's a great place for concerts because the sound is great and you are really close to the stage wherever you choose to stay and it's a more personal experience. There are events almost all the times, but they have separated rooms, so, if you don't want to attend the event or you need a quiter room, you have a place to stay. They also have a special place for smokers in the garden which is heaten during winter.

The garden is full of tobacoo leaves, it is the absolutely healthiest environment! The music is the pure standard of the commercial and capitalist industry — a complete blessing. Overall it is disgustingly fitting into the culture around it, but based on its “aims” it could accept modern music suggestions for future events.

I am rewriting this review, as two nights ago we came here and were so happy. Adrien (ginger) was a fantastic bartender, incredible server and really gave us a laugh. However, we came back two nights later assuming the same sort of experience and were greeted to a rude outside bartender. That initially put us off of the bar but we carried on. We went inside and asked for tissues. The bartender was very rude with his response for such a simple question. Great potential for this bar but I feel as a foreigner here I was not welcome at all. Food I cannot comment on as I didn't eat here yet drinks were average. Vibe outside was great, lots of people drinking but none being tourists, presumably why we got a different treatment.

Control is a brilliant, dead central venue where there is always something going on, be it a DJ or live music supplied by one of Bucharest's better live acts. It also attracts a decent line up of international acts too: often quirky bands you will actually want to go and see. The crowd is equally eclectic, refreshingly free of the airs and graces you find in so many other Bucharest clubs. We love it, and note that it opens early: it is now a pub as much as a club, and when the weather is good enough it has a very smart terrace, set underneath a huge creeper which provides shade even in the fiercest summer heat. There's food upstairs at Alt Shift. Fantastic.

1 of the top 3 clubs in Bucharest according to my Romanian D.J. Friend John Wolf and it didn't disappoint. 2 different rooms with distinct music's playing, very chilled vibe and half price cocktails on Tuesdays too. Nice outside garden that got busier than the dance floor at times, had a lot of fun and loved the music.
