Visited the place after few years. It looks very nice with the decorations and the atmosphere is great. At 12 am suddenly everyone starts to dance and it's a club already- transformation as in Cinderella :). We were a group of girls with reservation, the table they gave us wasn't so comfortable, maybe the better places are given to the known visitors..who knows. The waitress was very nice, friendly and attentive and we didn't wait too much for the orders, even if it was full. The food, good enough but too expensive for what is offered. Music was nice, except few songs apparently old Romanian songs which were not really danceable and totally different vs the atmosphere- maybe DJ's experiments. Overall it was a nice evening, just too expensive for what is offered: table commodity, food, music - 3.5 overall.

Very unique and chic place. Really good decorated and in the middle of the center of Bucharest. It’s a restaurant bar and club after 23:00. We were late and they kept our reservation so really nice of them. The waitress was so cordial and nice, always asking if we wanted something more or giving us some tips for Budapest. Nice place to go for rooftop cocktails! We booked in advance for a Wednesday night and it was relatively quiet. We personally had no trouble with dress code (perhaps because it was a more relaxed weekday?) but the service was a little slow. The service wan't good as I expected (we needed to wait long time until someone came to us. However the food was delicious we really enjoyed it and it was more then I expected.

The food was excellent. But the service by the entrance could be much better. Please tell your people to smile a bit and be more helpful to your guests. They really do not have to work there if they cannot be service-oriented.

Staff were great and offered us a good table after we pushed for it. So be assertive to get the table you desire. The drinks, meals, desserts were a hit. My 5 year old needed extra items of menu and it was taken care of without resistance. The interior setting is pleasant and view is cool. It’s a busy place so get an appointment. There were LOADS of drunk people dancing around at 6pm ALREADY!!, they were walking from table to table and touching everything. The music was extremely LOUD and a conversation was impossible (I think I can spare this place with that one as it was a Saturday, but definitely felt like a club more than a bar). The hostess was lovely and very helpful (she definitely deserves one of these stars). All the other staff was slow and they had a very patronizing atitude (I think they forgot who the patron is:) The cocktails were tasty and I think the quality was reflected in the price. (Service was way too slow for such lovely drinks). I would NOT RECOMMEND unless you go sometime when the music level is decent. This place has got potential.

Pro: The place is really nice, super cool decorations, also the terrace has a nice view. Staff was friendly and careful about what we asked. Bathrooms were clean Cons: The staff was not wearing any kind of mask. The gin based drinks were a bit too "long" but tasty Food portions are small for the price they ask. It is absurd to ask for about 10€-20€ for each dish in the menu and they do not even come with a side. Also the vegetarian options are very light. The music was very loud from one of the places below.

If you want to talk, the music can be a little too loud on the roof at night, but after a few drinks - you can get used to it! What was a pleasant surprise, was the food - we really didn't expect much from a bar/club, but it was delicious and in a reasonable price too! Staff is fast and nice. I'm glad we tried it, even though we were not so keen on the spots in the center of the city.

Didn't try the food but the atmosphere and the music were on point. The drinks were amazing and the bartender got out of her way to make me something off menu even when she was busy. Rooftop is less crowded than downstairs.

Wonderfull location. Good vibes, great drinks, and delicious food. A bit on the pricey side but it’s the best place in the old center IMO. Really recommend it!

I've been coming here for years and always recommend it to my community of foreign travelers when discovering Bucharest old town! 😍The inside sitting is comfortable and looks very fancy. The terrace is a bit small, but cute and cozy, with a bit of view. Service is always good, from my experiences! 👏 ✅ The prices of drinks are very good for the location and quality and how the place looks like (l've been to boring looking places with higher prices there in the city center). Maybe just food prices are a bit high. Definitely try it out if you are in the center. 🙌

I usually do not spend much time writing reviews, but feel that it is necessary to share my experience at Nomad Skybar. My boyfriend and I are currently on holiday in Romania. He booked this place online, before our departure from the Netherlands, thinking it would be a nice place to spend our evening in Bucharest. After arriving at the Nomad Skybar on 1 August we met our hostess. My boyfriend said we had a reservation. The hostess did not look into the list with reservations, looked at my boyfriend, took two menus, walked around the bar looking for the most hidden table and threw the menus on the table. Without a word, she walked back to her desk and welcomed another couple without a reservation, bringing them to a beautiful place in front of Nomad Skybar. After my boyfriend called her and politely asked whether there was another place in front, she said ‘no’ and walked away. I found the hostess so rude that I looked at my boyfriend and said that I would not want to stay another minute. Upon walking out the girl was checking her phone. I asked for her name, which I will not write down here, and told her that she was rude. Of course, I cannot look into her head and claim that she is racist. Let me just leave it at that she was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. Oh! We walked to one of the many atmospheric restaurants outside and had a wonderful evening. Our stay in Romania thus far, leaving our experience at Nomad Skybar aside, has been amazing! From now on, I will write more reviews that will certainly be more positive.

Service was really good, but the cocktail s...not so much. Despite us ordering common, well known cocktails, they had a bad taste. Not all types, but at least half of what we ordered. Music was waaay to loud on the high notes. My ears rang for 4 days after I got home. Didn't try the food, but it looked good. Maybe some other time

I looooved it! At the moment, it is the best restaurant that I have visited here in Bucharest! All the food was so delicious… the seafood pasta, the beef tapas and the mussels, everything was great! I loved the drinks too, I really recommend the “disaronno sour”, it is very good! The place is very nice and the service was good too! ❤️

The location of the sky bar is gorgeous. Located in the heart of the city centre, Nomad offers a variety of meals and drinks. The staff is friendly and ready to help whenever you have any request. I went there with my friends and ordered pasta and steak. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks without having any issues. I totally recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a great dinner in Bucharest.

If you are looking for some night life and excellent food, this is the place. Cocktails and appetizers are a specialty. The atmosphere was trendy with DJ music, and the food was perfect. Ambiance, music and fine food. The best of everything.

The place is best of old town and provides a modern twist to an older environment. At the top of the building provides a refuge from the busy street and has a great ambiance. Food and drinks are very good and service is friendly and prompt. The bar is a real treat!

Great view, drinks arrived quite fast and were well executed. The food on the other hand, was a little over priced and not that special. We had a nomad platter that consisted of two sliders, one souvlaki, fries, calamari and peppers.

This place has improved a lot over the last couple of years! Delicious food and drinks, you cand find something to eat even if you have a specific dietary restriction and the desserts are incredibly delicious! Totally recommend the pavlova and rocher chocolate delight,which was not photographed as it disappeared first 🙈
