Best pork ribs in Granada. Decor is rustic. Ambiance relaxed. Service and cuisine excellent. My favourite place to hang out

Tourist trap. The staff is very unpleasant. Only tourists eat here. Prices don't include 15% tax which is not mentioned in the menu. The prices are misaligned with the menu items so I ended up paying way more than I expected and they wouldn't care that it was due to their mistake. The meat portion is very small as you can see in my photo. For 500 cordobas I essentially got an overpriced cansado.

We had chicken filet from the grill. It came with rice, salad and fries. Very very good food! Really nice flavor. We loved it and went there two times for diner. Prices are ok (8$ for one chicken meal). They have a secured parking inside. Very friendly staff.

Chicken arrepas here are the thing to order! Small but so good! Place is open air, basically picnic tables in a parking lot, but it's a neat backyard kind of vibe. Staff don't speak English, and vehicles kept passing through the place docking a star.

This place is amazing all around. Definitely put it on your list for Granada dining.

Food is delicious here, and the restaurant and staff provide such a lovely atmosphere. 100% recommended if you are in town and wanna try Nica food with a touch of Venezuela as well.

Such a good spot!! The ambience is very family friendly, especially for dinner. There's plently of space and the staff are helpful. They have a combination of Guatemalan and Venezuelan food, so you have a variety. I strongly recommend the villa dish on the Venezuelan side, if you enjoy meat, you won't be disappointed! Left with a smile and beyond satisfied meal!

Located a few hundred meters away from the main square, it might not be your choice by chance, but you will be missing out. Restaurant is located in a courtyard and helps the vibe within the restaurant. We visited them in August for a good churrasco perfectly grilled. A cold Toña on the side and life is good

Great place for steak and other things. Attentive service and a quality meal isn’t too much to ask for but some of the more well-known spots have failed me recently. Asarte did not!

I should start by saying that I loved this spot so much that I came back at the end of my Nicaragua vacation to enjoy it again. The steak was one of the best I've ever had on my life, both the asado de res and the churrasco. The tostones nicas are to die for, the cocktails are strong, the patio is cozy, and the service is impeccable. Don't miss out! This place is great.

Visited a year ago and had a very positive experience, and again tonight. Another great evening. Very attentive and expedient staff and excellent food. We had beef ribs (which we thought would be more like bigger pork ribs, like they would be at home) but we got basically 2 long tasty rib steaks, cooked to perfection with a homemade hot chili sauce and a chimichuri style sauce. Came with grilled vegetables. Along with a few pre dinner cocktails and a bottle of Chilean red wine the price was very good and the quality above expectations. We tried ordering 2 entrees but our server suggested the beef ribs were enough for 2 and they were. The food was excellent, the meat cooked just right and the sauces and grilled veggies a perfect compliment. We found it to be a really good value for us compared to home, and again, the service was outstanding. The three sercers we interacted with were friendly and patient with our very limited Spanish, and incredibly helpful. Well done! We will be returning for sure next time we are in Granada. Highly recommended!

Was staying at the hotel next door and came here as it was open late (10pm I think). The service and food were both good and it’s reasonably priced for what they offer. I liked the open air seating and it has a cool vibe to it. I’d def come back and would recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Todo es asado I love it! Everything is freshly made. Came here for the first time and I really like the ambiance and decor. The service was great. Very attentive staff. The food was delicious. I ordered the Costillitas de Cerdo with queso asado y platanos maduros it was really good 👍 Prices were descent for what you get. I wished they served cacao but oh well it was still very good. I definitely recommend this place. I'll definitely come back!

Food: we only wanted an appetizer, the tostones with steak were very odd. The steak was rough and chewy, though it was flavorful. It's also served with tomato and cucumber which is not the most compatible combination if ask me on top, watered down the tostones. I basically had to separate all the interview to eat them. Drinks: The cocktails were kinda weak, though the drinks tasted fine. They also served me a warm seltzer. Vibe: super cool vibe. Overall: fine enough spot to try out once cause the vibe is cool. But I did it once and I probably wouldn't come back.

Hands down our favourite place in Granada. Great atmosphere, delicious food and reasonably priced. Skip the noise and mediocrity of Calzada and walk the extra block for a great dining experience - I highly recommend Asarte!

My favourite dining experience in Granada, just outside the main Central Park touristy area in Granada, a unique hole in the wall atmosphere, open aired, with moderate fine dining fare at Nicaraguan prices, We both had the steaks, done rare as per my request, care taken to the sauteed vegetables with appropriate sauces and spices on the side as well.
