Finding this place added to the wow factor, since there is no way you can deduce this oasis is nestled behind the gate, the street is totally not a tourist one. The young guy at the front desk was super courteous and spoke perfect English so he was able to answer all of our questions. Unlike other places where you show up and the pictures are totally not what they seem, this place is truly what the pictures show. I was tethering in only giving 4 stars because as every good tourists, we like to go and explore in the bouldering heat and come back and take an afternoon nap. The first run we were given, pretty and all, but the AC was not cooling after 30 mins, so they changed us rooms. The AC in the other was a little better but it made for an uncomfortable hot nap and just as bad at night... Yes at 5 am it was cool, but so was the whole country! The great service at breakfast brought back this rating from a 4 star to a well deserved 5. I only hope the owner reads this and fixes the AC, since then it would truly be a 5 star review.

A gorgeous, quiet, artistically appointed little hotel. This place is immaculately maintained and run by friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. They're happy to help out with restaurant reservations, maps of the area, and whatever else you might need. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay in our beautiful poolside room. The courtyard offered a nice pool in the privacy of swaying palms and the decor throughout was very tastefully done. We found the staff to be very helpful and we enjoyed a wholesome breakfast served in the outdoor court yard. I would recommend this place.

I have arrived today. I’ve never written a review before leaving the property but the Tribal Hotel has made such an impression that I must share: Come to Granada! Come to the Tribal Hotel! Come fast! This place is pure magic! The Moroccan influences. The Moorish feel. The pool in the courtyard. It’s just all splendid. I chose a larger room with an open air sitting area overlooking the courtyard. Perfect for relaxing. Also perfect for answering emails! There is no problem big enough to stress you out in this beautiful space. Nothing at all. The Wi-Fi is strong and can support Zoom and other important work too! The beds are great. The showers are hot. The drinks are strong! The staff are so friendly! The dozens of seating areas around the property beckon you - you’re supposed to relax at this magical spot. I plan on doing so! Added this 3 days later: The magic was all accurate and spot on! Alfonso and Ezekiel became my fast friends. They helped me improve my Spanish (it needs lots of improvement!!!). Josue really encouraged my Spanish in the evenings when he worked. I am so grateful to these three great humans. Alfonso is so attentive, caring and kind. He made all of the difference for my stay. The owner, Yban, runs a special place. You feel the love and the magic β€” it’s all inspired by him!

What a truly enchanting place. It’s really much more than a hotel. The sense of peace you feel when you arrive is tangible. Everything about Tribal is on point; the welcome, the staff, the decor, the breakfast, the music, the cocktails, provisions in the bathrooms. They have it all covered! I had The Best Time and look forward to my next stay in a few months. Thank you Yvan and your entire team for looking after me like family….literally!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay with Tribal. The decor is gorgeous while simultaneously effortless. We came to explore Granada and the vicinity, but often took extra time for a rest at the hotel. It feels good to be there. The rooms are cool. The pool is refreshing. Our fellow guests were fun and interesting. Balcony breakfasts were a special treat. All of this becomes invalid, however, if the hotel team don't understand hospitality. The entire team were always helpful, patient, friendly, and attentive. Yvan (owner) and Ezequiel (manager and concierge) helped us to plan several day trips and evening meals. They arranged for drivers, taxis, and anything else we needed. Zero complaints. Enjoyed it all. We hope to visit again one day!

This was our first stop on our honeymoon and we had an incredible experience! The breakfast was the best we had in Nicaragua and the whole property is very clean and comfortable. Ezekiel gave us excellent recommendations for food and sights to see with the time we had in Granada. He also helped us arrange transportation with a tour guide to Laguna Apoyo and Masaya Volcano. We didn't want to leave!! Highly, highly recommend

I love love this place. The staff is AMAZING. Zekiel and Alfonso work during the day and speaks English and are easy going and filled with lots of knowledge of the city and give great recommendations. They helped me with making arrangements to get around town and visited a lot of locations they recommended. Breakfast and coffee is served every morning. Part of breakfast is fresh juice and fruits and everything is just delicious. I stayed in the room upstairs, the decor of the room and the entire hotel is just my favorite and beautiful. Not a detail missed. I love the Morrocan /colonial design. It is timeless. I love every bit of my stay. It’s definitely a hotel with many photo opportunities. Oh and the music playlist!!!! I loved it very relaxing and chill and adds to the atmosphere of the hotel. I can’t wait to return and visit again.

Tribal is a gorgeous boutique hotel with lots of flair and attention to small details. The owner, Yvan, is charming and ever-present chatting with guests and overseeing all aspects of operations and customer satisfaction. Ezekiel, the day-time manager and concierge, is clever and resourceful in his role. We had booked two separate excursions from third-party tour companies months in advance. Both of them canceled unexpectedly. Ezekiel booked us similar tours on the spot within minutes and saved us money in the process! Tribal is indeed an oasis of relaxation in the middle of a charming city where one may escape the heat and cares of travel when necessary. The grounds are particularly breathtaking at night, with the lighting and pool being centrally located in the courtyard. I'd be remiss not to mention the breakfast served each morning down by the pool area. The food is brought out in three courses, coffee/tea with toast and jam, assorted fruits and melons, and the main course, which varied each day. The service is deliberately spaced out to give you a relaxing start to your morning. It's very tastefully presented and delicious. Top marks!

Some gems are too precious to risk telling everyone, but Tribal is such a perfect size and so well run that there is no risk of it being spoiled. Scale, style, setting and service are all delightful: tiny overall, it’s handful of suites are spacious, beautifully decorated and immensely comfortable (like the whole hotel). Granada is one of the loveliest cities we have ever visited, richly deserving its recently announced World Heritage status. And as for the people: Exequiel is a diamond who not only made our stay memorable with endless advice but also spent most of two days helping us through the labyrinths of the Customs service; and as for Ivan: can there be a more charming and engaged owner anywhere?

Amazing setting, clean room and great breakfast. Calm place to stay in the centre of busy Granada. The host was extremely helpful and booked us some great tours and gave us good restaurant recommendations that we would not have found by ourselves. Thanks guys for the brilliant stay, Sophie and Tom

This boutique hotel is the definition of beauty. It’s delightfully luxurious, wonderfully comfortable, and perfectly tranquil. It is centrally located to everything you’d want to see and do while in Granada, making it the perfect β€œhome base” for your time there. Beyond that, every member of the staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning is also absolutely delicious. We were only here for 2 nights, and we wish we had stayed much longer. We’ll definitely have to plan a return trip just to stay at this property again!

My wife and I loved it at Tribal Hotel, and Granada itself. The hotel is second to none- we looked at many others in the area and I think you'd struggle to find anything anywhere near as good as this. All of the staff were so lovely- Zeek and Ivan were delightful, and so helpful, as were all the staff. Breakfast was a three course feast. It's also very safe and secure.

Tribal hotel was first stop on our honeymoon and we couldn't have picked a better base in Granada. The owner was charming and really knowledgeable about everything from day trips to local bars. They helped organise onward travel and excursions which made our stay effortless. Be very hard to think of a more stylish hotel too. Still obsessed with all the textiles!
