I only wish I had visited this incredible spot on my first day! The owners are wonderfully friendly, the environment is tranquil with much appreciated greenery in a city, and the bread is the best you can only hope to find in this part of the world. They prepare sourdough, fantastic bagels, focaccia, banana bread and much more! Baked fresh every day (the chef gave me a tour of the bakery and their process) they prepare delicious sandwiches and take care in every aspect & detail of their craft. Having learnt how to bake on a farm in Switzerland, he has brought back some invaluable skills and adapted it to the Nicaraguan climate and resources. Truly the best food spot I've found in this part of the world! On offer they have salmon, BLTs, cookies, cinnamon rolls and of course delicious vegetarian & vegan options 🤤🤤

You just have to go. We went for lunch I got the sandwich of the day which was a pesto and chicken Panini on focaccia bread which tasted so so good, I would highly recommend. We also met the owner I think and he was very friendly, chatted to us and made us feel welcome whilst also recommending other things we can go and see in Granada .

Best place for breakfast in Granada. Delicious food, fantastic sourdough bread and chimichuri to die for! Topped by super friendly service and fair prices! Can only recommend!

Friendly father and son who care about their products, service and customers. The bagels are very tasty. Prices are a bit high-end for Nicaraguan standards, but very worth the money! The son was kind enough to show us around his kitchen and explain how they came up with and grew their business over the past ten months. Strong recommendation for breakfast or lunch!

Excellent service, quiet and out of the loud obnoxious main strip. Super food! You can tell these people have traveled the world. Great atmosphere next to the home of the creator of Bella’s Artes de Granada.

Great brunch spot!! The home made bagels are so good and it’s also a very fair price (around 4-7USD). The owner is really friendly and did everything to accommodate us!

GO HERE!!! The staff are so so kind and oh my goodness are their bagel sandwiches delicious! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Granada, wish we'd found this gem sooner. You're also surrounded by so much beautiful art while you eat.

Father and son owned shop who take such care and effort into the food they make. They are very welcoming and showed us the bakery. The best food I’ve had since traveling and such lovely people

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Kodiak Bagel Shop! The diverse selection of freshly baked bread every morning is a true highlight. The warm and welcoming family that runs the cafe adds a special touch to the atmosphere. Nestled in a green location next to a sculptor’s studio, the setting is simply fantastic. In my opinion, it’s the best breakfast spot in all of Granada. I’ve searched all over Nicaragua, and nowhere else have I found such delectable bread. This place is a gem, and I highly recommend it for a delicious and cozy breakfast experience!

Very tasty bagels, infusions and coffee! The owner is very sympathetic as well. This is an honest place with prices that include service and tax (unlike most of the other cafes and restaurants in Granada).

Excellent breakfast/lunch spot! My bagel sandwich was awesome and they have delicious fruit infused drinks and homemade simple syrups so you can form your own delicious beverage.

A hidden gem! Amber and her husband are so lovely, the bagels are AMAZING and made in house by his son Victor. There’s nothing else like this spot in Granada. Highly recommend the breakfast combo which comes with a bagel sandwich (the sunrise was delicious), potatoes and coffee/house made tea infusion. They also have several vegan options. AND all for a very reasonable price!

Incredible little bagel shop, the service and food were both excellent, the best bagel I've ever had. A must visit in Granada for sure.

Highly recommend a stop at this bagel (and more) shop in Granada. Tucked just off the main boulevard, you will be pleasantly surprised by the fresh and creative choices. We devoured our sourdough bagels with cream cheese and a side of homemade chimichurri- so delicious! The friendly owners also shared some Nicaraguan history and gave us some excellent suggestions of must-see’s around town. Thank you! We’ll be back the next time we’re in town.

What a find! Nestled next to the School of Fine Arts, which is bristling with incredible sculptures, is this gem of a cafe. Everything there is clearly made with love and passion. The bagels were some of the best I've ever had, the fruit infusions were so refreshing, and the atmosphere is perfect. The owner is super friendly and fascinating to talk to (he's just finished travelling the world for seven years in a camper van) and best of all it's a family place: his son is the baker. Could not recommend more highly - go!

The best bread i’ve ever had while traveling! If you come from Europe and are used to good bread, this is the place to go! I had a wonderful bagel there and good conversations with the owner’s wife Amber! absolutely loved it🌞

We stayed in Granada for 2 days on our trip to Nicaragua and this was one of the places we stopped for breakfast, and the best! Not only was their food super nutritious and yummy but the father and his son were super welcoming! We got to talk to the father and owner about their business and so much more! If you get a chance to stop here I would highly recommend supporting this small business.

Found this place on google maps and decided to try it out based on the reviews and they weren’t wrong! Lovely space shared with a sculpture studio so it’s very scenic. We parked on the street beside it with no problem. The friendliest person Amber greeted us and walked us through the menu. She owns it when her husband and his son. Bonus, she’s a yoga teacher too! delicious bagels (plain, sesame, Everything), with the most exquisite crunch, the real deal sourdough and tasty coffee. We were there around 9:30am and the place was busy with lots of regulars. Some western comforts we didn’t expect 1. Option of almond milk! 2. Flavored syrup with cloves for the coffee 2. Free water AND ice cubes Yes it’s not local food but when you’re in the mood for something different I would definitely recommend this place. Bonus it’s right by the Malecon too
