We came from Pta to visit my parent and decided to do the parkrun (as we do all the parkruns). We came here and they told us it is not happening because there is a different race. No communication at all. I though the parkrun is the one event you can always count on will happen

Visiting a friend in a town further away from home always means that you need to look for a parkrun that you can do, "to get the Saturday Morning fix!" Secunda parkrun was most definitely a trail run with a bit of a wet effect the day we did the run. The course itself is very enjoyable! To get more info of the run following the link below and get the info before the run: https://www.parkrun.co.za/secunda/ Or read the route description below: This figure 8-type course consists of mostly sand pathways and 4 different bridge crossings along the Trichardtspruit. Head east from the start along the path and take the grassy slipway down towards the tunnel under the main road. After the tunnel keep left and cross the yellow bridge. Follow the path until you reach a right turn towards the river and go over the blue bridge. Keep heading east on the path towards the duck pond and turn left to cross the red bridge. This is the turning point to start heading back. Stay on the sand path and cross the yellow bridge for a second time. Go through the tunnel again and keep right, up the short incline heading west. Stay on the path until you reach a turn towards the final green bridge crossing and a right turn to the finish line.

You get to beat your record whenever you put your mind to it. Every step counts for mental health and fitness. My partner and love to challenge each other. It would be great if we could have a morning Parkrun and one in the afternoon for the ones who might have to be at work in the mornings.

It's a nice mall. Clean and safe parking lots. Inside the mall has spacious hallways and their toilets are really clean. Loved the food courts at the top floor.
