Superb little homemade ice cream shop in downtown Arrow Rock. We were served personally and wonderfully by the proprietors, James, and his wife. In fact, they seemed to stay open late to accommodate extra customers. Wonderful seating options and decor, and the ice cream is stupendous! Had the arrow rock mud and coffee flavors.

Came over from the campground and checked out the historical town. The Badger's Hideaway was open on a quiet day. The service was attentive and food was amazing. An old building given new life and great atmosphere. Pizza, beer, wine and ice cream are the focus. The owners checked in on us and shared their story completing the small town charm.

We were camping at Arrow Rock Historic Site and took a drive into town. We stopped in this ice cream shop and we were so very glad we did! The ice cream is homemade and delicious! The owners will let you sample the flavors so it’s easier to choose. The owners are extremely nice and very accommodating. I got some vanilla bean ice cream and a bottle of black cherry soda (so good!!) and the owner gave me a glass so I could pour the soda over the ice cream. My husband had the Arrow Rock Mud, which was delightful. If you are in or near Arrow Rock, you should definitely stop in. You won’t be disappointed!!

You must stop in Arrow Rock and try this ice cream! The flavors are incredible, better than anything I've had in any fancy artisan place. The owners are super cool and they sell beer and wine too. Usually only open Fri-Sun, check before you come, but absolutely worth the visit.

We loved this pizzeria! My family visited from Columbia and really enjoyed the casual, friendly atmosphere and the delicious pizza. We ate outside on the deck which was nice but the kids liked their lounge area stocked with games. And trying all of the ice cream flavors was fun. We will definitely be going back next time we make it to Arrow Rock.

Took the family on a day trip to Arrow Rock and was so pleased with this new place. Both the service and the food were outstanding. The pizzas were loaded and tasty. We got a vegetarian and a meat lover -- sauce was so good! They also were so accommodating my 3 yr old wanting to taste all the ice cream flavors. Was impressed — they are a true mom-and-pop — and still got my pizza out fast. Will def go back!

Trying ice cream is our thing and this place is rated at the top. The vanilla bean shake was top notch.

One of my favorite places in the whole wide world! Always warmly greated by the owners who are so down to earth and comfortable to chat with. Their ice cream and little pies (on occasion) are absolutely delicious and the unique flavors as well as the familiar flavors are always delicious. They are open as posted and a little secret is they have a liquor license so you can get a bottle of good wine or beer to go with whatever you are planning in Arrow Rock. Worth a Sunday drive to the village!
