We visited Dr. Shashikanth for my mother's chronic knee pain. After a thorough physical investigation, he suspected a potential back issue too that could be aggravating the knee pain - we did an MRI and this indeed confirmed the back issue. While a lot of doctors prescribed immediate surgery, he assured us that we need not rush into any surgery without my mother being prepared for it - he suggested physiotherapy and minimal medication. My mother's lifestyle has improved significantly post these without any invasive treatment. All in all, I found the doctor to be quite knowledgeable and patient, with a great ability to get to the root cause. Post our positive experience, I've also personally consulted him for foot pain. Here again, he was able to get to the root cause without any tests. He suggested rest and minimal medication and I was back to normalcy within a couple of days.

My wife was suffering from severe left knee pain and she was having difficulty walking . We consulted Dr. Shashikanth for the same. He gave us knowledge of all the options available. We decided to undergo total knee replacement. He performed the surgery so well that she didn't have any problems after surgery. Now she is walking comfortably.
