We enjoyed everything we ate at Alaturka. The food seemed to be made in house and was delicious. The hummus was fresh, simple and creamy. The Chicken Adana was perfectly spiced, the Lahmacun was a huge portion and very tasty! We will definitely be back to try more! The staff was super friendly, and restaurant was very clean.

Food tastes amazing and so reasonably priced. The restaurant manager (owner?) was so much fun and nice to us too. Such a happy dining experience here. We arrived at 6:30pm and the service was slow, because they are pretty busy so I can understand. If you want faster service it is better to arrive after 7:30pm. Really enjoyed the Turkish tea and lamb. So tasty.

Good was exceptional! This is best Turkish food in the Tampa Bay Area I had so far. We were a party of 30 and We did not wait that long until the food got to the table. Servers were right on top of it, they made sure we got everything. We got the mixed grill, mixed appetizer, chicken platter, the lavas bread, lahamajoun. Everything was delicious and their platters were very generous. You’d definitely leave with a to-go box.

Absolutely wonderful food and service. We had a large group. We ordered a bunch of appetizers that were delicious. Everyone in our group loved all the food! Large portions! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. We tried the Turkish coffee- the best coffee we’ve ever had- we even purchased the coffee and pot from them. We highly recommend this place.

Definitely check this place out! We had the beef liver which was amazing. The bread is fresh and amazing. The Adana kebab was delicious. The baklava was amazing. I love all their food. It’s super fresh. The chicken kebab for kids is a great deal 🙏 Their mixed grill is by far my favorite dish. Great for splitting for 2/ more people. Also their hummus is one of the best I’ve ever had. I catered for a birthday here and their trays are great value for your money! Can’t recommend them enough. One of the best kebab places in Tampa bay & palm harbor.

This new restaurant the food is very good. I would really be rating a 3.5 but rounded up to a 4. Here is a detailed description of this new restaurant. We were not sure of their seating situation when we came with our party of 6 ( 4 kids, 2 adults). They asked if we have reservations since our party was over 4. We didn't and weren't really sure why they asked since it wasn't packed until we realized they had every table set up for a table of 4 seating. So if you have more than 4 in your party I would call ahead. They did end up putting 2 tables together for us but it seemed like they were not happy about it. We ordered with what seemed like maybe the manager/owner. After ordering and having our food delivered, we didn't have a single person stop by our table to ask if we needed anything. We had to get up and ask for boxes and our check and literally had no water left at our table. There were at least 3 other workers at the time but it seemed like the manager/owner was to only come to the table. So service a 2.5. Ambiance it is set up very nicely and the new bakery next door will be amazing too I'm sure. The problem is the size of the tables. They are very small and when ordering large trays of food there is literally no room at the table. The tables are not wide enough especially since they didn't even come back to the table to take away appetizer plates. Ambiance rated a 3. Now on to food, we started off with Grape leaves and hummus both were very good. We then ordered the Alaturka Mixed Grill which comes with rice, lamb, chicken, beef. We ordered the platter for four, it was enough for 6 of us plus have leftovers. Rating Food a 5. Overall rating again is a 3.5 for service. We may be back a little later after they have been open a while to see if service is better.

AH-mazing! We were in the mood for Turkish food and stumbled upon this gem right off US-19. The food is incredible and authentic! This is a family owned restaurant with mom and dad in the kitchen cooking. When I asked whether I should try the manti, the response was “my mom is making it!” Delicious! Perfectly tender meat-filled dumplings. Iskender kabob was rich and flavorful! My tummy is happy and yours will be too! Don’t sleep on this new restaurant. Welcome to a taste of Turkey!

Great fresh and traditional Turkish food. Service is very friendly and there’s almost no wait. The bakery section has a nice selection of Mediterranean desserts as well. Nice spot to grab a quick lunch or early dinner. We’ll definitely go back to try some more things in the menu. 👍🏻

I got the $17 lunch special. Includes appetizer meal and a drink. It was plenty of food and I felt full, maybe even a little too full. LoL but I couldn’t stop eating, it was delicious. I chose the lamb and beef Shawarma wrap. Tasty and fresh. The hummus appetizer is also very delicious. I highly recommend getting the hummus. There is also a bakery attached to the restaurant, I have to come back and stock up on some of these delicious treats. The baked goods looked scrumptious. The restaurant is small, but seats about 12 or so tables. I love that they give cloth napkins. The only thing I didn’t like was they have a radio playing pretty loudly that includes lots of commercial breaks. I feel like that kind of takes away from the otherwise nice ambience. I loved the music, it it’s just the commercials were a bit much. The staff is very friendly and accommodating parking is easy and free. They do have two tables for outside dining, but it was a hot day, and we enjoyed the air-conditioning.

Stopped just before noon. Easy to find. My wife and I were greeted and seated right away. Only about six others there. The dining area was very clean and well laid out. We perused the menu and were brought a decanter of chilled water. While we decided, I ordered a dish of Babaghanoush with my Lunch special. It was great, spiced perfectly and we were also brought bread and olives. My wife ordered the Chicken Pasta soup with her Lunch special. The soup was superb, some of the best I’ve ever eaten Our meals came quickly. It all looked great. My wife decided on the Chicken Shish Kebob, with and Side Salad. I chose the Lamb Sharwarma with salad. Both were excellent and quite a bit of food with a good potion of rice. Delicious, wonderfully seasoned. We tasted each other’s food. My Sharwarma was the best… until I tasted her Shish Kebob. Yum. Next time I’ll definitely try the Lamb Shish Kebob! And of course, with all the delightful bakery items on display, we had to push our plates away and looked at our choices. I wanted to try something new for me so I selected the Kadayif. It looked interesting and was, hopefully, very popular since the pan was almost empty. We tried that and she also wanted to take some Profiteroles, which looked like marshmallows covered in chocolate, home. She enjoyed them the next day. Great place. Very clean. Excellent service. Our server visited our table many times to check on us. Definitely recommended. We will be back for sure.

Authentic Turkish cuisine ! Food was amazing and so delicious. A1 service; we were served by the owner and he was very attentive to everything. A family business owned, which is the perfect place to eat as if you were in your own home.

Delicious and authentic Turkish food. Everything from the Shepherd Salad to the Iskender Kebab to the Calves Liver to the Baked Hummus was delicious. One of the best Turkish restaurants in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. The atmosphere is also very nice and they have a separate section for desserts.

Very authentic tasting food. Had so much flavor to it, every bite was savory. One of the best places in tampa bay hands down. Owner or manager came across every table and made sure everything was good. Bakery section was amazing. We had the mixed platter (2-person) and lamb/beef shawarma.

Alaturka is the most authentic restaurant we’ve found in the area since we moved here in January. The husband ordered the lunch special with falafel, chicken shawarma and a soda, I had the lunch special with hummus, beef and lamb shawarma and a soda. We also were served some Kalamata olives in oil with spices, flat bread and a jug of ice cold water. The restaurant is charming with a modern vibe. TVs throughout have photos of menu items with two at the counter showing videos of shawarma being made in a variety of ways. The bakery next door had some lovely looking treats but we were too full to sample any. For our next visit we want to try the baklava, Turkish coffee and the stuffed grape leaves. By far the nicest place we’ve found in the area, we will definitely be back … often.
