The wall of Segovia is a stone fortress that protects and embraces the old town of the city. It is an imposing symbol of the history and culture of Segovia, and an impressive example of Roman architecture. Walking along the wall is like walking through the history of the city, with each stone block telling a different story. The towers and fortifications that flank the wall are like silent guardians, witnesses of the evolution of the city over the centuries. The wall also offers impressive views of its surroundings. Each viewpoint is a window to the past, allowing visitors to contemplate the beauty and charm of the city from a different perspective.

Though a very short wall, you get a different view of Segovia and surroundings. The ticket is 2-3 Euro. You need to find the office and get the code to open the door. You may not notice the office open since few people know you can climb the wall.

(Translated by Google) The wall of Segovia dates back to Roman times, but currently what can be seen is a construction from the Middle Ages, from the 11th and 12th centuries. It has a length of 2250 meters and about 9 meters high. Throughout the entire wall you can see multiple towers that protected the wall and numerous access gates that facilitated the mobility of the city.
