Only interesting if you speak Portugese. Very friendly staff but if you are looking for more information on the park, not worth the price.

When you're in the neighborhood you surely must visit the center. We had a very enthousiast and professional guide. So after the visit we know much more about this area and where we can do beautiful hikings.

Ótimo parque para as crianças, um dos pontos altos da nossa visita a Manteigas e à serra da Estrela.

We went here for advice on hiking routes, and were helped perfectly by the staff. The person advising us was thoroughly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He pointed us to two routes that suited our needs perfectly (one short and one long route), explained the starting locations and resources we needed in detail. Otherwise, the centre contains some nice exhibits about the natural park and its flora and fauna amongst other things.

It's a good introduction to the environment of the Serra da Estrela with a film in English if required and models and information on the area. I wanted to understand the flora, fauna and geology for a project and an expert saw me to help.

Everyone was so helpful in making tailored recommendations on what to do in the Serra da Estrela National Park. There were people available who spoke great English as our Portuguese was not up to scratch. Definitely pop in for a chat before heading to the National Park!

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception to give advice on our two and a half day stay for hiking. Strongly recommended for people who are new to the area and to hiking. We found the help we got there incredibly useful.

We have not seen much of the center as we were a little short on time. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our hiking related questions and gave some great hiking trail tipps. They also sell good hiking maps of the national park, though for our short visit that was not necessary. Can only recommend this place!

No local tinha uma exposição de fotos e uma sala interativa, fizemos a visita não guiada, a guiada dá acesso a sala interativa.

Good advices on where to go. Great list of treks to visit for a very reasonable price. I recommend.

Well equipped, knowledgeable staff. Hard to access because of one-way streets.

Very educational. You get to learn a lot about the mountain range, water systems and biodiversity. A must if you want to know the mountain as a whole.

Really helpful service here, we were supported and shown around. The scientists are very informative and attentive. They showed us some walks for our tastes which we did and would not have known about if not for them. Highly recommend visiting here as a way to deepen your experience in Serra de Estrella
