Clean place but food portions and quality wasn’t it, AT ALL. Dinner time and two measly enchiladas with plops of rice and beans is FINE, if it were a kids plate or $8-$9. Quesadillas were decent BUT not melted. Best part was the rice. Very disappointed with the decline of quality, and inflation of prices (second visit in one week due to mediocre food gave it another chance thinking it was an off night). Match the food quality with the prices and you might have a less EMPTY restaurant. $70 and we should’ve just went to Taco Bell.

Normally when you spend almost 19.00 on chips/ taco you would think that basic customer service would be in place. First I asked for a taco with no meet because of an allergy to be offered a bean taco. I asked twice if it had meat products to be told no for someone to step in and say yes. Yikes... then I ordered a chicken fajita taco for the lady to put chicken on the taco and then remove some. When I asked why I was embarrassed with three people approaching me to tell me about how if the tortilla weights 1.5oz you get 2ouches of chicken and it the tortilla was 1oz then you get 2.5. 😒 should a customer really be broken down like this over a slither of chicken. How humiliating. Off to Taco Cabana I go. I also know going forward where not to order breakfast taco for the company from. ( I work in the plaza). Terrible experience!!

I was unaware that soft tacos were enchiladas and if I wanted enchiladas which I didn't, I would have ordered enchiladas. Disappointed. Ground beef on nachos super greasy.. no cheese sauce? Only good thing was the margarita

I have been craving menudo FOREVER, however I was very very disappointed. The online menu says “plenty of cilantro, lime and onions”.. I get home and there are no cilantro, onion or lemon in my bag with my menudo.. the menudo also smells like they do not clean the meat.. I guess ask or make sure before you leave that condiments are in the bag.

Considering it was our first time trying this place out, I have to say the ordering was easy and the server who attended to our order was very nice and our food tasted good which means we will be back.

The food was very good and a great price. Customer service was great. The restaurant was a little dirty, which may have been because they were busy. But overall, good 👍

Okay food as usual what you expect from an unauthentic Mexican food place. Diana the host / cashier was great. Very busy 7:53 pm Saturday Mike Manager - had terrible customer service He ras so rude & I always do my best to be kind to everyone in the food industry.

I just love this place. Miss the days bean and cheese tacos were 79 cents ea. The tacos have gotten just a tad under the size of a street taco. Tortillas taste different than they used to. Love the salsa bar, but get irritated when it's not checked on and things are empty. I've had to ask for cilantro and they sometimes bring me a few to go containers. This place used to be way better, but for nostalgic reasons and the salsa bar, I probably won't stop going there.

The food is amazing! 🤩 The service is also very good the only concern is that the seating is not bad but could be better. This is definitely one of my top there restaurants, it gave Mexican food a new name. (Pretty affordable too).

Thank you for staying open late, after everyone else closes early! Employees always greet us kindly & the food is quality, tastes great & served in good amounts. This is the only restaurant I have not had to return to because of a missing item, or something other wrong with my order, after using the drive thru -in years! What a relief!! Excellent!! There’s nothing like a good carne guisada taco & zesty margarita to top off the night, after a busy evening. Thanks Mama Margie’s, Schertz! TYSM!!!

I'm upset because each time I have to ask for good size tacos. I'm not asking for giant tacos but at least put more than one small scoop of beans and cheese??? Very disappointed this time I didn't ask for a 'good size' tacos thinking that they would have got the hint by now after ordering here each morning for the past few weeks. But no, these tacos were very very small. It's upsetting. Thanks allot Mama margies. Your food is good but your tacos are toooo small wayyyy too small.

We get takeout from here at least once every time we visit from Michigan. Delicious and convenient. We really enjoyed the bacon, bean and cheese breakfast tacos. Always tasty.

I had been craving nachos all day so went through the drive thru ordered my food and the guy confirmed my order. Got to the window and the guy had no personality and looked like he was up to something. I got all the way home only to sit down and eat and my nachos had no cheese and the chips were stale. I spoke to a really nice manager who gave me a refund. I will make sure to check my food before driving off.

Place was very clean, very nice staff, pretty fast service. Food was pretty good, I had the taco plate in beef and was very tasty. The chips and salsa are also very good.
