Bug in my food! So, me and my friends ordered at this place. Each of us got our own stuff and the food was good but some of the meat was undercooked or raw. We never finished the food but I didn’t want mine to go to waste. I took it home and decided to eat it later. After taking out my food and heating it up. I was eating until I spotted a semi-dead caterpillar crawling around in my broccolis. - Gross because I finished like 3/4 of that meal till I found that caterpillar 🤢

New ownership, like many others, this used to be my go to for Chinese food, it was delicious and the portions were huge. Now they have new owners and the food is a complete 360. It's bland and flavorless and the portions are sad, yet they charge more money. I will not be coming here anymore, I used to pick up take out once per week 😭

If you live in the FoodsCo (Shields and First) area, this is the spot for chinese food. The food deserves a 5 star rating. They make it just how I like it, and they can costumize too! Ive tried a lot of places in the area, lived here 30 years, and this is my favorite spot. The people there are always nice. Not really a dine-in kind of place, more of a grab and go. Forget going to blan Chans.

They have a new look in the restraint, but the food is not the same. Very unhappy with my order, called and spoke to the man he played dumb. There not the same people who are cooking and it shows. They lost a good customer. Food was nasty, gave it all to the dog. There new .a agreement raised prices, food not good, portion to small for price

Good 7.5 out of 10 Ordered beef and broccoli with noodles and rice 13bucks a plate which is acceptable for the portion size. Guy was really friendly and helpful. Would go here again just for the cleanliness and hospitality. Thanks for the food! :)

New ownership. Different,-deliciousness none the less. I liked it, not for the price though but its concept was throughly executed and well thought out I really did enjoy the shrimp it had peanuts whole dried red chiles calabasa celery onion the noodles were good and the sweet sour chicken was the perfect flavor and texture. My plate reminded me of fireworks like the pink color of the sweet sour chicken and the fiery red chiles with the crunch of the peanuts and the shape of the slice onions and the noodles too so yum COMBO C

Anyone else notice it has new owners? This use to be my very favorite place in town. I miss calling them, and them recognizing my voice and them saying, "Hello again, you want your usual sir?" The new place isnt terrible but everything is different; the portions and the recipes. I really liked the old owners. I went to Chans but it was kinda gross. I just want my broccoli beef add black mushrooms over crispy noodles. 😭

The fried rice was delicious sorry looks more brown because of the soy sauce 😁🙈 that's my husband plate I got the soup veggies delicious good to the soul 😅 and some egg rolls 😋

Love the chow mien they have here! Whenever you have cravings for Chinese food I recommend China City!

Ordered my good(orange chicken and fried rice). My food was fresh and hot. It was seasoned really well. I give my food a 8 out of 10. Customer service a 10 out of 10. Dining area was clean and so they get a 10 in that area.

I love the combination fried rice huge portion I can use it for lunch and dinner. My other most favorite dish hear is the garlic fried chicken wings.

Extremely disappointed. New management is definitely not living up to the way it was. "If something ain't broke, don't try to fix it!" Well, now it needs to be fixed!

This place used to be one of my favorites. Under the new ownership I will not go back. They're more expensive, give less food and the chow mein is not the good kind anymore. Does anyone know if the old owners moved somewhere else?

Chicken Fried Rice tased rotten & burn. As for the Honey nut shrimp $15.99, there was hardly no shrimp on the big white container that was given to me on my DoorDash delivery. I spend $49.95 on my order which include my discount & coupon from DoorDash. I’m disappointed of my order & it’s been almost 1 week from April 6 that I haven’t got this issue resolved with DoorDash or China City Restaurant.

The food was bland and "chewy" and way overpriced at $15. The pork buns however, were good. But as for Chinese food I will stick to what I know and go to Chans where I get bigger, better food at a good price. A $9 plate at Chans I can get two meals out of.. But here I only took about 6 bites, and had enough 😐
