Nice place, really romantic for dinner with your partner. Continue swimming while looking at the view from above. If you don't want to stay overnight, you can also just swim there. I have visited this hotel in 2019. It was pleasant experience. They have tall building and rooftop pool so scenery is good. However, in 2021, their service is poor. When we arrived there wasn't security or staff that greet us and provide parking instructions. They didn't have tv channel other than their own promotion channel (don't expect premium cable tv, they even didn't have free national tv just like RCTI, SCTV, CNN Indonesia etc). They didn't provide soap, bath gel, slippers unless you asked them. It's basic service and they failed at it. The bathroom was stinky and I think they were understaffed. It's took long time to process my basic request. Some area seem to be neglected and dirty. I paid for room with breakfast service but they didn't provide breakfast. They said that during Covid period, they closed their restaurant. Funny thing, I spend one night in other hotel (same city) before, but they provide breakfast. So, I don't believe star hotel reason is valid one. They promised to return a fraction of my money (for breakfast) but until check out it wasn't done. I will never set my foot again in this hotel. There are better option in Semarang.

I agree with some reviews. This hotel need to be more clean. For eg the curtain in my room is quiet dusty. But yes the have beautiful rooftop even though not so large. I also don't like the not quiet oke basin/wastafel set. But I agree this hotel is so affordable, friendly for your pocket.

I have short business trip to this town and one of local team gave me the booking room at that day, off course after finishing my work check in to hotel. When I step in and check the room... Like usually room... Beside one dead light bed side... That's still ok for me I can move my works to the table, when i wanna make some hot tea.... There's no tea bag / sugar just mineral water in a bottle.. Doing my work umm ...maybe a half done.. I go to the bath room and wallah... There's no towel and mat floor, and saw an cockroach, dirty stain under the closet, crust at the shower and fall out the paint of ceiling above the shower. Please spray insecticide at the bathroom before used for someone else and really do the cleaning, I really enjoy when have communication with all employees, humble and friendly, I know every body have their problems with this damn pandemic but please do your best system for satisfying the costumer. Maybe other time when I have business trip again to Semarang I hope you have done with management system specially in serving room Good luck

Favorite place for vacation & rest

Famously known for its Skypool. The hotel it self is just okay. At first I have issues about the hotel security because after I've check-in to my room, couple hours later two women enter the room with key. The receptionist gave them the same room as mine. It's unacceptable. The receptionist apologize & everything sorted out. My room basically has not ready, no towels and toiletries available. Breakfast quite variety, but tasteless. Even the milk & the chocolate taste weird.

The room cleanliness good, comfortable good, no noise and great view of Semarang city. But when we want to take bath there is no single towel in bathroom so we must call housekeeping and they deliver towel around 15 minutes I think it's good response. And the last the lift hotel only operation 1 from 3 they have, maybe they service lift same with I stayed there. So we must wait for go to room floor 15-20 minutes. I hope now all the lift already can use.

Very bad experience. Never again stayed in this hotel. AC was out of order. Room was smelly. Only one elevator was in operation. I waited more than 20 mins to just to get down. Do not stay in this hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The whole hotel is dirty. AC is broken in the lobby, only 1 elevator working. 3 cockroach dead in. Front of the lobby elevator. Hallway is dirty, room is dirty, you have black spots on the bedsheet. Bathroom is dirty, you can't even use the wash basin because it's dirty. The towel, it's broken, not even gonna use it. Everything is dirty and out of service.

The hotel gave you worst experiences

The rooftop infinity swimming pool was the STAR of this hotel! But, even though this is a 4-star hotel, I think overall it's a bit old one, because when I check the room amenities (there's no mini fridge in the room!), and how the lobby, lounge, elevator, etc looks a bit rugged and old. The variety of the food at breakfast buffet was so-so, it was more like a 2-3* hotel breakfast buffet rather than 4*, But the taste was great & the staff were very friendly.

Whoever give 4 or 5 ratings for this hotel, then they rarely or even never travelling before. 1. Only 2 of 3 lift operating, and it has 4 person capacity each. Imagine 30 floors, weekend, what do you expect? Even in workdays its so time consuming waiting for go to lobby. Not to mention hotel staffs also using these lift. So frustating. 2. Dont expect hot water. I open shower for 5 minutes but still cold and only half fixed shower hole give water. Shabby bath towel, no hand & floor towell and narrow bathroom area as budget 3 star hotels. 3. Room, furnitures and curtains looks old. 4. I left at 9, going out all day, back at 19:00, find my room still same like I left in the morning. Nobody cleaned it. Ask reception to clean and wait in lobby, in a few minutes a nice women came and said it has cleaned for today at noon. What? They don't even check it! Thanks God after some debate, they clean it. 5. At 30th floor they have pool chair and bar chair. Funny thing is... they put label in bar chair "minimum spent 100.000". I laughed and annoyed simultaneously. Im wondering if I mistakenly go to low class street bar or what. 6. The reason Im giving 2 not 1 star rating cos I always look from the bright side. They have quite nice rooftop infinity pool at 30th floor, friendly staffs, and cheap rate, below 300.000. But Semarang have other 4 or 3 stars hotel that gave convenient in same price that make you forget the infinity pool.

Back in 2019, the service of this hotel was totally awesome and nice. Also from this place we can enjoy the beautiful view of Semarang from each of the floors, as well as enjoying the rooftop swimming pool in the highest floor of this hotel. But what happened nowadays is basically the reverse of the situation during me and my family's last visit here. As long as they improve and fix a lot of problems and damages within this hotel as well as improving the service, this hotel will be crowded again just like in the last 3 years ago.

The pool was just advertisement.. the highest sky pool in Indonesia is doesn’t exist 😌 Which is the only one reason ppl come here.. Read all the 1 star reviews they are all 100% right🙄 I dont even want to take more pictures cause is that horrible😅

Only one elevator is working, always full because its used by all customers and very crowded in the covid era. view from their pool is the best

If you are looking for the selfies on the pool, this hotel has it. Unfortunately I had unpleasant experience staying since there are so many small ants coming out from the furnitures. Perhaps you will feel some tickling sensation when covering your feet with the blanket haha, so I decided to raise the AC temp and not using the blanket. And the hotel only providing non smoking rooms.

The only thing good about this hotel are skypool and the cleanness of room. Water heater is not working at all. I've once read review about this hotel water heater and wondering if they never bothered to fix it since. The breakfast was horrible (not worth it at all) you better just skip without breakfast. I ate on 9 am but the food was almost gone (they did not even bother to fill it unless someone I asked). I ate soto and it tasted weird and complained. The variation also not many. Overall the price was cheap so maybe that's why the quality is just so so

Broken wardrobe sliding door, dirty place n the bed was dusty, the table lamp was death, dirty bathroom n their exhaust fan was broken, they dont give me towel if i dont ask them (acctually i should wait 2 hours for the towel and i should ask to front office TWICE cause the intelcall was death), and then they just give me one toothbrush and one towel ( for ur information i rent the twin bed room). And then about the skypool, it have a good view of semarang city but the water was dirty n murky. the locker was broken. Next about the lift, it will make u dizzy. But the good things about this hotel is their location is strategic

Very poor maintenance,dirty hotel,stained bed,stained sheet,stained wardrobe and curtain. Broken table and wardrobe. Be careful while using elevator! Uncomfortable vibes esp at night because there is a nightclub in this building,not suitable for children/family. Never ever go back!

Stayed for two nights here. It has swimming pool on 30th floor so you get the best panoramic view of the city. Room looks a bit old and need more maintenance or refurbish. Very close to shopping mall and convenience store. Breakfast was good. They served mostly Indonesian foods. Staffs were friendly and helpful. If you come by car, they provide you with parking space, but you need to walk from parking to hotel entrance in level 1 (no lift on parking tower. Only for apartment resident).

This hotel, which is located near Java Mall, has 30 floors. The facilities provided are quite complete, such as parking, lobby, hotel rooms and apartments, gym, bar, Sky Pool, a swimming pool which is quite popular, elevator, emergency stairs, as well as several large halls or rooms for event booking. Star Hotel is a 4 star hotel and above. In my opinion, the Sky Pool is really worth it😍 Apart from being able to swim while looking at the view of the city, you can enjoy the Sky Pool at a rate of 100 thousand/person with free food and swimming as much as you like, guys. The place is nice and the service is good

This hotel has excellent Swimming Pool (Sky Pool) on 30th floor which marked as tallest swimming pool in Indonesia by MURI (Indonesian Museum of Records) while it was opened on December 2012 with 97m tall. The swimming pool is Instagramable and also become one of best location to take photo of skyline city of Semarang or view the whole city of Semarang. The bedroom is a bit good on 2nd floor hotel, as well as receptionist and hotel service. The breakfast menu is a bit decent. The location of hotel itself is strategic, it's adjacent with Java Mall and near while going to tourism object or business district of Semarang Unfortunately, even this hotel has excellent feature, some hotel needs improvements. First, is Elevator. The elevator takes long time in order to go to another floor, especially during high season. It's a bit frustated while waiting up to 15 minutes just for go to another floor such as to Lobby to go outside or go to Sky Pool at 30th floor and the second, is the parking area of hotel is quite narrow which is a bit difficult to park if using huge cars.
