This is one of our favorite kayak destinations. We love to spend a day just enjoying the area. Great fishing and very respectful boaters.

Very clean lake, of course, its the drinking water supply. Nice uncrowded place to fish. Launch fee is high for this area ($5) especially since there is no launch dock.

Hopefully they re-open soon. They put a fence up and they are still closed to the public right now, although Fox Landing is opening again.

Only one launch $5. Gets crowded. No dock. Kayakers and canoers launch off 98 for free.

Road Closed on McGowin Road, it is private property. No Public Access!!! You want to punch in the directions to Fox Landing, go there instead.

Pretty area, though there was a man telling people they could not use SUPs in the water though that was not a posted rule. He said that if you fall it would be swimming and swimming isn’t allowed. This was after watching us pay our fee, get entirely set up, then touch the water. This guy also got to delight in making some small children cry when he told another family the same thing, again after they’d paid to launch. You may have fun here, but not as much as this guy will ruining your weekend.
