I unfortunately have to give it a 3 star. The huge let down is the star dish, paella. I was expecting a generous plate of paella but was surprised the paella dish quantity was "pizza"-thin. We ordered seafood paella plate for two, but it could only satisfy one, me, a lady with healthy appetite. My disappointment set in as soon as I dig into the paella with their oversized wooden spatula. There is not a lot to scoop. To scrape yes. The worst thing a restaurant could do to their customer is have them left unsatisfied. The toppings were also scant in amount. Were my expectations too high for a paella dish valued at 325K++? (genuine question here). However, despite the let down with paella, the appetizer tuna tartar was super good super delicious, and we were blown away by the dressing/sauce and the beautiful plating. It was a treat to the tongue and the eyes. The tuna was also super fresh. Our second appetizer the clams in green sauce was good however a little bland to our taste. I can only guess it is because the "zesty" tuna tartar was served first? We finished the tuna for awhile and then clams arrived, which was also weird because appetisers were not out the same time. This unfortunately also another bad point. Dessert Cremoso de Chocolate was delicious. The service was okay.. I am not sure if I would come again since I am a paella fan and I have my own benchmark for paella.

Happy to know they open in Sanur because it's much much nearer for us driving to Sanur compared to Canggu 😂 We joined their first Sunday Brunch at Sanur and couldn't be happier to share the review. Ambiance : a semi open, two storey restaurant with ceiling fan and air con. Still hot and humid tbh, so better to come around evening. Live music on special occasion, bonus point! Hand sanitizer on table, double bonus point! Buuut, I did see some staffs not wearing masks... Taste : clams tasted weird and cold, probably because of the white wine or not warm when served? Others were fine, we loved the paella and other tapas such as ceviche, croquettes, and pulpo. Alfajores served with vanilla gelato was an excellent choice to end our brunch. Who doesn't love dessert?🤤 Service : as we're only 2 and seated at the back, it's easy to "underlook" us as all the staffs were busy attending bigger crowd/table. Huge disappointment and there's no apology at all from the service staff. However there's one lady with black frame glasses being attentive to us and it's because of her its 4 star instead of 3. Price : cheap as we only paid 250k/person for a buffet, but do mind that there's certain food you can't request for more. We've been to Pescado Canggu and the ala carte price is still reasonably priced. Parking space : free roadside parking for motorbikes and cars, as long as you don't block others. Menu : extensive drinks menu I'd say, good one as they have a bar. Didn't see the a la carte menu as it was a Sunday Brunch day. Overall it was a good dining experience, but since we're seated nearby toilet, having people walking in and out of it was extremely uncomfortable. We finally asked to be moved to other table that was booked but empty - way passed the booking time. Also, pls just print a small Sunday Brunch menu, in details, on table so that we know what we're getting..and your staffs don't have to keep explaining to every table.. Thank you 💜

Had dinner here with 2 sides and 1 paella which was really nice. The garlic prawn is a must try too! Service was quick and food came without much long wait. Tried their white sangria and it was nice and strong too. However, take note it is gonna be quite pricey compared to the other food in the area. Good to try this place out though!

Had their sunday brunch menu, which was also a buffet menu at ~300k+ per pax. It was basically a full course meal, and was blown away at the generosity of the portions for the price. Particularly enjoyed the - mushroom/spinach croquettes - pescados ceviche - piquillo pepper & of course paella! 🥘 was surprised its a full sized pan, given the ala carte price is also abt 300k+ Highly recommend swinging by here for Sun brunch, amazing service as well!

As in any place in Bali, despite indoor A/C, you're still sweating like an idiot. BUT that aside, the food here was super awesome. We ordered the Fried Burata, Garlic Prawns and the Lobster Paella. So damn good!!! Service was prompt and friendly and I got a generous load of chillies to go with my Paella. It was all really good. We licked our plates clean! And definitely be back cos we'll be here awhile.

A gem in Sanur! (They have a Canggu location as well!) We had the garlic prawns, the waygu beef and ended with the seared tuna tataki… very much the best tuna we’ve had in quite some time! The bread with the prawns was awesome as well! Topped with the minty mock tail… absolutely recommend!!!

Very good seafood! We had the garlic shrimp and tuna steak. There are 2 slices of bread with the garlic shrimp, but nothing with the tuna. So we did order a salad and some extra bread. But it was all very delicious. The service was great as well.

Highly recommend eating at Pescados. Food was flawless with generous seafood servings and unique flavours as well as perfect presentation. Cocktails were delicious and used multiple ingredients to bring a level above anything we had at the nearby resorts. And lastly atmosphere and service was spot on, attentive but not intruding.

Had lobster paella for 2. Garlic prawns and sangria. Was all excellent. Not cheap but well worth it. Sat inside in the air con so no sweating like idiots! Lovely flavours and nice crust on the paella. Sangria had a nice kick to it. Fantastic service too. Wish there were more places like this!!

Definitely a must try Spanish restaurant in Sanur area. Great food and they have variety wine options if you are into it. Great taste and high quality food. The desserts taste also great as well. Depending on day, it will dictate how crowd it is, so better make reservations. They have indoor and outdoor sitting area, in my opinion both options are good. Overall good experience and recommended if you are in Sanur area.

I went here for lunch, just a short walk from my hotel. It was a nice, cozy, and quaint restaurant. My friend and I went here on Friday. Apparently, there was a deal that everything, except paella and few items, costs Rp 90k. Hence we ordered 3 menu. We ordered Pulpo a la Plancha, Tuna Steak, and Beef something (I forgot). The tuna steak we ordered medium, but it came well done. The pulpo a la plancha has bacon below the mashed potato, so if you don’t eat pork beware. The beef was very good! We only spent Rp 330k, which is reasonable and it was worth it. Recommended to try, especially if you stay in Danau Tamblingan street, Sanur.

I have seafood allergy, yet the Paella is so good, I barrel through it. We ordered snapper Paella, expecting it to only consist of Fish. Yet the Paella came with shrimp, clams, and both squid and octopus mixed into the rice. I decided to taste it, and the rice was just beautiful. I drank some milk to mitigate the allergy effects. A great meal. Value just so so. Service is just ok. Place is clean. Parking for car is on the road.

It was really nice dining experience I had in this place. It’s little bit more pricey than other places in Sanur but the quality of the food is really worth it. This restaurant offers nice variety of seafood dishes, Spanish tapas and paella shared for 2 or more people. They have interesting options which I haven’t seen in other restaurants f.e squid, mushroom spinach bowls( very delicious). The staff was very professional and attentive however not very personal. The place is little busy at the evening. You don’t make a mistake with any dish here, I tried 3 and all of them were very delicious. They offer various awesome looking cocktails as well. If you like to treat yourself with a nice tasty food visit this high standard place.

Had the seafood paella, tuna tarte, grilled octopus, croquetas and stuffed peppers and wow this restaurant knows how to make great food. Everything was so good. Bravo! The drinks were a bit mediocre though. Still i can't recommend this restaurant enough, even my friends who went with me kept talking about this restaurant weeks after.

At Pescoda, the dining experience was a mixed bag, offering both delights and disappointments. The Burata Cheese Salad held promise with its combination of pumpkin seeds and cheese, yet the pumpkin itself tasted peculiar, and the portion of tuna was disappointingly scant. Moving to the Clams, the green sauce added a pleasant touch, but an overpowering fishy aftertaste marred an otherwise enjoyable dish. The Paella Negra, unfortunately, missed the mark. Lacking the desired tang and depth of flavor, it fell into the realm of blandness. Moreover, the clams and fish elements within the paella carried an overly fishy essence, detracting from the overall experience. However, the standout was the superbly cooked calamari, a highlight that demanded more presence within the dish. Service at Pescoda was amiable but occasionally too hands-on, disrupting the natural flow of the dining experience. On a positive note, the food presentation was commendable, adding visual appeal to the dishes. The location provided a charming ambiance, complemented by live music, yet it posed challenges for parking, which could be a concern for visitors arriving by car. Despite its shortcomings, Pescoda shows potential in certain dishes, but improvements in flavor balance, service execution, and perhaps a reevaluation of parking options could elevate the overall dining experience.

I loved the ambiance with the live person singing and decorations. Music was not too loud. Lots of seating (indoor & outdoor). Ordered the mushroom croquetas, barramundi plancha, & pulpa w/ mashed potatoes. I don’t recommend the pulpa; it was too thick and hard to cut/chew. Would have been better if it was thinly sliced and cooked longer to make it crunchy. Croquetas were delicious! The fish was also delicious with a unique sauce that made it taste better.

The best Spanish restaurant 👍 Good vibes and must be intentional because this restaurant is in an alley. I can feel the care in cooking, and his attention to detail, I'm impressed even though it's been a long time. Good taste and fresh, good service.

Nice food. The hygiene was a bit on the low scale to give it 5* for such a restaurant.

Garlic butter prawns were off the charts good! They also gave complimentary croquetas with my G&T and some delicious chocolate truffles at the end. SO good

I hardly comment on my food experiences being in this business myself but I truly recommend this place which I ve been going by many times to go to the beach places. Portions are surprisingly big enough compared to the price you pay for it. The staff is attentive and professional, the singer tunes are just right and not too loud as most live music places. We will be back for sure thanks Pescado 🙏
