I recently had the opportunity to visit Saifana Organic Farm, and overall, it was an interesting experience. The farm is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, which made it an ideal place to unwind and relax. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly staff and a few big dogs who roamed around the facilities. It was evident that the farm was well-maintained as I saw workers busy planting vegetables, which was quite a sight to behold. However, one thing to note is that the farm is quite far from Sembalun, which is not ideal if you plan to visit Rinjani or Sembalun valley. So, if you are looking for a place that is conveniently located near these attractions, Saifana Organic Farm might not be the best option. As for the accommodation, I stayed in a small room that had a lot of mosquitoes and geckos. While I found the geckos to be fascinating, I was also a bit worried that they might bite me. The sound of the geckos was also quite loud and annoying, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Despite the issues with the accommodation, I must say that the farm itself was a unique and fascinating experience. It was amazing to see how the vegetables were grown organically and how the staff took care of the farm with great passion. Overall, I would recommend Saifana Organic Farm to anyone who is interested in experiencing life on an organic farm. However, if you are looking for a place with more modern amenities and closer proximity to popular tourist destinations, this might not be the best option for you.

I stayed in saifana for 6 nights and felt at home in this amazing cozy place! I wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart 💜 I'm sure it's all old news for you but I feel the need to express my gratitude towards this magic place. Firstly Herna, what a beautiful soul, so caring, she sees everyone and everything, I felt she became my friend, my family, my sister and sometimes even my mom :) And each one of the staff, Rita, Minon and the all the others are amazing, letting me help and participate in the cooking, at the garden, etc.. We had a wonderful tour with Herna, she took me almost everywhere she needed to go and it was the best way to see the area and get to know the locals. Saifana, Your place is just surrounded with sunshine energy and in one word- harmony! I'm greatfull for the time I spent with everyone and hopefully soon enough I'll be back again. And last words - the FOOD oh my god!! Deliciousssss

Saifana was our « safe haven » during our trip to Lombok. This family business makes you feel like home from the moment you step into the property. The bungalows were clean and very cosy. The restaurant and « chill » area was so comfortable that we spent our two days chilling around, reading, playing games, tasting their delicious palm ice coffee! The food was really cheap for what it was, made with the veggies from the garden. In fact, it was so good that we didn’t even bother trying to find somewhere else to eat around. We had our 3 meals/day over there and were surprised by every new flavour in our meals. Most of the crew are women (who have less opportunities to work). They support them by giving them work and responsibilities. Seeing those strong women smiling and being happy working there is just so rewarding. The young couple taking care of the place are really inspiring and deserve to be supported. We don’t have words to explain how inspired we were by the place and how good it felt to stay over this kind of place knowing that by supporting them, you are doing a good thing and you help them support the locals, teaching women, doing permaculture, saving animals, helping eco projects and so much more. Highly highly recommended! 💚

Dropped by for a pitstop visit. It is a well maintained farm (there are a few farm animals on site) with its own plant nursery and herbs garden. They focus on vegan and organic food in their restaurant which is a well designed common space with a children's play area. They are known for their organic cashew nuts produce and have an interesting drink on the menu made from cashew tree fruit. The taste was funky and sweet. The space is owned by a French-Indonesian couple and located in an off beat area. Worth to drop by if you are in the area or stay in one of the bungalows onsite.

Food was incredible and staff was so so so wonderful. I truly felt like family during my stay there and will miss the girls there! The property is filled with animals that are loved and respected. The only dogs I’ve seen on the island that are well cared for! Tons of very cute and cuddly cats, ducks, chickens, and cows across the road. It’s truly a little piece of paradise. I rented a motorbike for 3 or 4 days to explore the area and the bike was in good condition and reasonably priced. I also did a cooking class and learned how to cook some of the tasty tasty food there! I also went on a hike with a guide (Muliadi guide barbir) and he was very kind and helpful! Happy I did a tour with him and would recommend for pergasingan hill or mount rinjani. There’s a guide book with tons of things to do in the area, some common bahasa phrases and history of the farm. The accommodations are quite basic and I didn’t realize that this area is very buggy. The bug nets could use replacing as I had some bugs sneak in during the night and that made it hard to sleep. The bathroom is partially open so there are bugs in there most of the time. No AC and nights can get hot so I didn’t end up staying as long as I was planning because sleep was difficult but it’s still worth 5 stars for the rest of the experience.

i love it here. i adore the ambience and the tranquillity. they have many good foods and drinks. i ordered chocolate brownie and it was delicious and served warm. here you can also have a garden tour--which is very fun-- with the guide who will happily tell you what permaculuture garden looks like.

After coming back from our Rinjani trek, Saifana was the perfect place to relax! The vibe is amazing as you are welcomed by the most friendly hosts/crew in a really big organic garden where everything is centered around doing good for the planet and its people! The rooms are not the biggest, but all around the garden there are amazing spots to chill (together with the cute dogs and cats from the farm). And the beds are still really comfy. The relaxing vibe continues with their own restaurant where they have a new breakfast/lunch/dinner everyday, you don't have to choose as they make the best dishes from their freshest ingredients on the farm. On top of that, the owners took us to see a new school project in the area which they helped build for giving the kids a meal per day which they helped grow themselves. This was amazing to see and even more amazing to interact with the kids which were so full of joy even if their situation wasn't good at all ❤️ Thank you to everyone at Saifana for giving us an amazing time! We were in Saifana for two nights this November with my extended family. The place, the vegan meals and all products was amazing and my three years old daughter still talks about Frankie, Elsa, Berani and the other cats. Truly a beautiful experience. We are looking forward to visit again sometimes in the future.
