This was my worst trekking experience ever! It was a nightmare starting from the guy who books the tours and has no clue about the routes. I asked him for a tour with easy experience as I am not at a good fitness level, he recommended to start from Sembalun and finish through Torean village which turned out to be the most difficult route of all of Rinjani's. The route is all ups and downs with rocky, sandy, slippery and steep trails, even Senaru route was much easier which I have done 4 years ago. On the second day we had to walk for 14 hours, starting from 2:30 AM until 5 PM, in total to reach the Basecamp where we stayed overnight. The guide and the porter only got me 2 bottled water for the 3 day program then after that we started to fill our bottles from the water mountains. This should be a safe and fun trip, not sure what I had with Adi Trekker tour. I would never recommend going with Adi if you want to have a good experience to remember.

We booked the 2d/1n to the summit through Adi. Communication was excellent from the start - all of our questions were answered and everything was organized to the point. Our boat (Bali-Lombok / self-organized) was late - everything was easy. We were welcomed directly and friendly at the port on Lombok. When we arrived at the accommodation we met Adi. He explained the tour to us and organized our onward journey. Top! On the day of the tour we were warmly greeted by our guide Mansur and picked up on time. The team consisted of Mansur (guide), Sabri and Andi (porter) - a dream team! They were fantastic. Mansur explained everything to us. The other two guys usually ran ahead and prepared everything. The food was incredibly tasty - like in a very good restaurant - first class! There were enough breaks on the way up and we were always given water and snacks. The tent was right next to the crater - indescribably beautiful. Again, the guys were fantastic - incredibly friendly and helpful. The equipment was very good, the sleeping bag was more than warm. The boys' food at 2,600 meters was top notch - tea, coffee, curry with rice, fresh fruit - brilliant. Mansur explained the process to the summit to us in front of the breathtaking sunset. He took away our slight nervousness. The alarm went off at 1:40 a.m. and there was a little snack before it started. The last few meters to the summit were very strenuous. Mansur took many short breaks with us. We arrived just before sunrise - perfect timing. It was wonderful! After a short biscuit energy snack and a moment of joy, the three of us went back downstairs. The way down went quickly, Mansur was always checking on us and taking breaks. Terrific! When we arrived back at the tent, Andi and Sabri had already prepared breakfast. It was amazing -pancaks with chocolate, fruit plate, warm tea, toast and fries - everything was perfect! We rested a bit, enjoyed the view and then went back down around 9 a.m. Step by step. Mansur led the way with us, then the guys who had packed everything up and carried everything down again overtook us - incredible performance and always a smile on their faces! At Camp 2 there was delicious food again before the last few meters began. When we arrived at the bottom, the driver was ready to take us back to the summit after taking a look back. When we arrived at the accommodation, we picked up the rest of our luggage and the driver for the transfer to the port was already there. Everything was extremely organized. Adi booked us a speedboat to Gili Air - everything worked fantastically. Many thanks to Adi for the organization and congratulations on the team you have! A huge thank you to Mansur, Andi and Sabri - you made the trip unforgettable!

Just completed a 4d3n private trek with Adi. His pricing for 1 pax is reasonable and queries are promptly addressed. Adi's crew for me is a young but experienced guide (Win) and porter (I call him boss), both took care of all necessary water, meals/snacks (tasty and amazing considering all cooked in the field) and camp. Although unassuming, the guide looked out for me and highlighted danger zones. Boss porter is also very fast and he went on ahead to secure good vantage spots. Adi even threw in a free ride to the airport on my departure day even though that is not part of the package. Do enquire with Adi if you are keen on this tough yet amazing journey.

If you are optimizing for quality & not budget-saving, I'd 100% recommend Adi Trekker for Mt. Rinjani. I only brought my own clothes (incl heat tech, windbreaker), sunblock, slippers - the rest was pretty much provided by their staff. Went for a private trip of 2 ppl for Sembalun-Torean route, and the agency provided 1 guide + 2 porters. The trip was my first time trekking a mountain & Adi's team made it do-able: from finding the right camping spot to ensure we have a good rest, to bringing generous amounts of drinks & snacks to keep us fueled.

The BEST tour I've ever had in all of my 8 month Asia travel. The service and organisation was second to none. Adi responds quickly and answers all your questions thoroughly. The Rinjani tour was incredible. We did the 3D 2N trek with summit. Our guide, Chakra was incredible and helped us at every moment and our porters, Adi and Joel were also amazing and worked so hard and made the experience so much easier for us. The food was amazing and far more than i expected for 2 nights camping in the mountains. You are treated so well by them. The three of them were a dream team. Make sure you ask Adi if they are available for your trek. 10/10 experience. It's worth every penny. Would definitely do it all over again even though it's physically tough 😂 highly recommend!

The best company to hike Rinjani!! Everything was professional and our guide Chakra and porters Adi and Joel made the experience seamless. We were fed amazing food, vegetarian as requested, if anything we were given too much food! Chakra went at a perfect pace and was always checking on us. The tent is spacious and comfortable, with thick sleeping bags - it gets cold at night. We did the 3 day 2 night, it's worthwhile as you spend a night on the crater rim and see the lake up close - but be prepared for the 2nd day, it is long. You wake at 2am to hike to the summit (3 hours up, 2 down) the terrain is difficult, the last hour like sand, then have breakfast and hike 3 more hours down to the hike and 3 hours up the crater rim. This company are one of few that make sure to collect all their rubbish (you see a lot on the mountain). We were picked up from Mataram and dropped back to Kuta all included in the price. Adi is rapid to respond to any questions. If you're hiking Rinjani do it with Adi Trekker, worth every penny!

An unforgettable adventure with amazing people and an incredible landscape. Even though it was exhausting, I enjoyed every minute of the 3d/2nights on Mount Rinjani. My guide Chakra was THE BEST. So much fun and good vibes. I had a private tour and met many nice people on the way. The food was incredibly delicious and my guide and porter spoiled me in any way. Adi Trekker not only cares about a clean mountain, it provides you with the best service you can wish for from private bonfires at night to funny jokes and stories for motivation. Highly recommended!!!! Thanks Chakra for so many memorable memories. #teammiinstant

The best Rinjani trekking tour service you can find in Lombok, Indonesia! The owner, Adi is very kind and accommodating. His services are flawless from the moment you arrived at the airport, going up and down the mountain, and going back to the airport or anywhere else for your next destination. His tour guides and porters are all friendly, experienced and skilful, making your hiking trip memorable. You don’t have to search for anyone else. You have found the best one here.

Highly recommended Adi Trekker for Mount Rinjani! Look no further as they are really the best agency. Adi was very responsive via WhatsApp on all queries that I had regarding the hike and made sure we were prepared well for the hike. They also made sure transportations to/from airport and post hike is sorted. We did 3D2N hike. My shoes soles came off even before reaching base camp 1 and our amazing guide , Win managed to find me a pair of shoes to borrow (the kind drink stall gentlemen at sembalun crater rim base camp, thank you very much!) just so I could summit and Win loan me his pair (while he went on slippers remaining of the hike) just so I could carry on with the rest of the hike. Talk about true dedication in helping their customer, which I’m forever grateful for. You will not have to worry about food as you will be well fed! Hot tea and snacks will also be brought to the summit to keep you warm while waiting for sunrise!. Amazing service by our 3 porters too :)

We booked Adi Trekker's 2D1N package for hiking Mt. Rinjani and I must say their service is highly recommended. We were fed abundantly with complete and healthy meals throughout our hike. Our guide and porters were all really nice and patient with us and made sure we have a comfortabke experience. Mr. Adi himself was super accommodating and answers all our concerns on a timely manner. We had a special request on the last day of our hike (to have us driven back early to Lombok airport) and they made sure everything was arranged so we don't miss our flight. Our experience with Adi Trekker is seamless and if you are lookig for a travel agent to hike Rinjani, you should definitely try their service.

Great organization, very well organized. What a luxury to having not to think about anything else than hiking! The food during the trek was nutricious and delicious. We were surprised with every meal we got, not one thing was the same! We even had freshly made pisang goreng as an afternoon snack! The guide and porters were very professional. The guide provided us a lot of information during the track which was very interesting. In the evening we made a bonfire and had a great time together. Definitely recommend booking your trekking with Adi trekker!

We had a wonderful trek with Chakra, our perfect English speaking guide, as well as Giling and Harry. We thank all three of them for making this ordeal more comfortable. The meals were good, despite difficult preparation conditions.
