Nature and fresh place to live. No pollution and eveything is fresh here. Though this place is not connected to metro cities still youngsters are modern like Mumbai. Highly recommended place to live after retirement.

Kotdwar is gateway to upper Himalayan towns & mountains. Last railway station of northern railways. Kotdwar has a Deer Park, several Temples, Catholic & Methodist Churches, Kanha Rishi Ashram etc.

Awesome place in Uttarakhand. Land of Gods n a place where Bharat son of king Dushyant n Shakuntala was born. After his name our country was named Bharat. Kotdwara situated at the bank of Malan n Koh river n located between Jim Corbett national park & Rajaji national park. A place where Kanva Rishi had his holy place, where Bharat was born. A place where Chark Rishi had his holy place. Love kotdwara n Uttarakhand.

Kotdwar is amazing place near my town. Some beautiful place like church , sidhbali mandir etc. And near 50 km on hill like lansdwne, cherekha,dugadda, pokhal some beautiful views and amazing road i am sharing some lansdowne images.

Very crowded place, too much humidity in summers. No place for parking around market area. 0% greenery left, no planning in making new construction. Too much encroachment all over the Jhanda Chowk. Government need to give priority in making the kotdwar better place for people both residents and commuters.

Best place before hills it's a meeting point/place of hill station and plains. Some best places like pauri, tehri, lansdowne, srinagar etc places are after kotdwar.

Places listed in this list are beautiful and peaceful at the same time. And you will enjoy these places no matter you are with friends or family. In my opinion you should give it a try.

Main roads need to be decongested. Traffic arrangement is poor. Encroachment needs to be immediately removed.

Mostly people like garhwal culture food temple ( char dhaam ) Traking off roading

It's a peaceful place made decoration is also good

I live here and I feel like it's better than Dehradun and cities like that and way better than metro cities (all this is true for people with wfh or who have businesses in the city itself)
