Highly recommend! Tommy is an excellent host and this is a really great place to stay. It is centrally located and very easy to get to from public transport. There are so many great places to visit and eat at within walking distance. The hostel itself is warm, clean and inviting. There is a nice breakfast and coffee each morning and Tommy and his staff are always willing to give you great recommendations for activities and places to visit. There is a laundry and other useful things to make your time even more comfortable. I can't wait to visit again soon.

Friendly staff, clean installations and good breakfast. Its location is very good, close to a couple of palaces and there's a temple nearby. The subway station is a 2 minutes walk and Seoul Station is within a couple of stations.

Location is good, quite close to a bunch of tourist attractions and the subway station The staff and the the boss are really friendly and helpful while the female dorm room is really good and cozy. The breakfast is also great 👍 gonna stay at this hostel when I visit Seoul next time

Stay in this hostel if you want to visit palaces and Jongmyo Shrine! Changdeokgung is just right in the end of street and Jongmyo Shrine is next to the hostel. All you need to do is walk. The hostel is very clean and the staff are helpful. The common room is quite big and comfortable. Everything about this hostel is the best.

The place great..in the sense that Changdeokgung palace is just a walking distance...I can its gate from the hostel...there is a convenient downstair and lits of cafes restos can be found around the area...

A cute hostel with limited dorms, Tommy is super sweet and speaks 3 languages: English, Japanese, and Korean. The dorm is kept clean and they have a kitchen with amenities such as a massage chair, TV, charging cables, etc. The last day Tommy left oranges in our room for us! The location is great, also near public transit and tourist attractions. Despite keeping the window closed after dusk and using well-working A/C, I left with a dozen new mosquito bites which I suspect is just a Seoul issue. Free breakfast- granted it’s just toast, cereal, and juice/milk so don’t expect a buffet but it’s nice to have. The 7-11 next door is 24/7 which is super nice. It was the cheapest place to stay I could find in the city of Seoul, so because of this, I came in with no expectations, but it really was a wonderful stay and is a great value for the money. Would recommend if visiting Seoul. :)

Tommy is a brilliant host and gave us lots of great advice and places to see while in Seoul. Location was perfect and hostel kept very clean. Even though the hostel is on a main road, the rooms were so quiet! Right in the heart of Seoul and close to buses and trains! Would highly recommend this place.

Tommy and Jinsoo are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean, and quiet. The location is perfect, close to subway (Jongno 3-ga) and Ikseon-dong. 7-eleven on the next door. We have a great time to build a snowman on the rooftop. There is washing machine & dryer on the rooftop. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Korea. Absolutely recommended.

Friendly owner. Thanks for warm hospitality. No need to worry if you want to wash your clothes, just bring 2-3 clothes enough, jimat space. Breakfast with nutella,yummy (already miss this place!). I will choose to stay here again in future :)

The location is awesome, and room is super clean and cozy. Free breakfast 8-10am, the staff and Tommy are very kind! This is the best place and made my seoul trip perfect, definitely will come back again.

I stayed for two days here in November. The experience was great -- the rooms were very clean and all the amenities looked new and up to date. The owner, Tommy, is also very nice and went out of his way to make my experience hospitable. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for places in the area!

Great location, close to a subway to get you around the city. Very clean and the host Tommy is very knowledgeable of what to do and where to go. The bed was very comfortable as well with a smart tv in the room.

Hostel had everything you could ask for and signs posted for everything. The hostel was clean and the staff super friendly and informative. Location is amazing. So close to the old town, markets and metro station.

Cozy hostel and nice staff! I enjoyed staying at Hostel Tommy a lot as it was very convenient to take MRT and the local food places around. 5 min walk to a palace and also 5 min walk to a crowded area with Korean street food.

Great place to stay in Seoul ! Nice neighborhood with many restaurants and markets. Comfy room and clean. Common areas like the living room and kitchen are welcoming and fully equipped. And Tommy is so cool, friendly and always ready to help ! You should look for a better place, it's already the best ;)

It really does feel like home. Tommy is a great host, always happy and smiling. The communal area is spacious and a great place to meet people. The room is larger than expected, with dressing tables provided. Hot shower is consistent. Location is convenient, within walking distance to metro and many sights. I've walked past Hostel Tommy the last time I was in Seoul and thought it was in a great location, so I decided to stay here this time. Would love to stay here again!

We had a great time at Hostel Tommy. - The hotel is well located near a metro station in the centre of Seoul. There is a 7-11 right next to the hotel and plenty of restaurants. - Breakfast was simple but tasty - The common area felt really cozy. - Nothing special to say about the rooms, they were not very big but still comfortable. They were clean too. - Tommy and his staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back there.

Hostel Tommy is without a doubt the best hostel in Seoul. With free breakfast, a rooftop terrace, and the best manager around you cant go wrong. Tommy is excellent, polite, and super helpful to make sure you have the best time in Seoul. Not to mention it's in a great part of town! Only minutes by walking to some of Seouls top tourist attractions. The rooms are very clean and they speak multiple languages. If you're still wondering to stay here or not, dont! Only wonder when you're going to stay there

We had a great stay at the hostel. I was a little worried whether the review was reliable and I can say it really is true. The staff and Tommy was really friendly. The communal area has everything you need to make a quick snack and it’s well maintained. We stayed in the room next to the communal area and had no trouble at all with noises. The location was superb, close to shops, restaurants and transports. The little convenience shop next door is really handy too. I would definitely be returning again in the near future and recommend friends and family to this.

Really love this hostel. Very good services with friendly staffs. Convenience location to subway (2 minutes walking to subway and 10 minute to Seoul Station by subway line 5). Breakfast is more interested than others in Korea. Highly recommendation!

Hello~ I worked & lived in this hostel for about 3 months and absolutely loved it! The place is at a great location, right next to two of of the biggest palaces and ikseondong, a very cute but slightly expensive part of Seoul with many restaurants and shops. The interior is very warm and welcoming, which makes you feel at home easily. Just like the host, Tommy. He’s very friendly and enjoys little chats with everyone. Another convenient thing is the 7 Eleven right downstairs, where you can get everything that you might need ( you can even charge your Tmoney card). So yeah I really recommend staying here😊
