I think this is really the gem of the area! Truly is the smile resort! The family owners are genuine good kind ppl. The area is a bit of a ghost town. Perfect if you like a unique experience. Easy bus to the mountain. Few shops about. Great beds! Warm water and towels and basic cereal toast jam breakfast. Directly on the rushing river to send you to sleep.

Probably the best place we stayed in Korea. On the one hand the hotel is very clean, very cute and very close to Seoraksan Park, by foot or by bus. But most importantly, the hosts Ted and his mum are absolutely amazing. They are exceptionally kind. We had a great time with them and we recommend this place 10000%!

Location was great, very close to the bus, and close to seorak national park. They were able to wait for us when we arrived later than expected at 11. Rooms were clean and just fine. The beds were not quite big enough for two people, which is what we were hoping for, but there was bedding available for the floor. There was also breakfast provided from 8-9, which was much appreciated.

Had a great stay here. Clean spacious rooms with laid back friendly atmosphere. Staff were happy to help and answered all our varied questions. Location is about a 30 minute walk from the park entrance or a 5 minute bus. A few small shops nearby to stock up on supplies and three family run restaurants in the BnB Park which were friendly and reasonably priced. Only drawback was the area was very quiet but made for relaxing with a couple of bottles of soju. All in all would 100% recommend.

Fairly priced, conveniently located motel near the seoraksan national park in sokcho. Lots of other motels in the neighborhood at the base of the mountain. Not a great location if you want to do non-hiking related things, but the owner is nicer and the rooms are comfy. The nearest convenience store isn’t super well stocked and there aren’t a lot of restaurants nearby, but it’s worth it for the closeness to the mountain.

If you dream of escaping from turbid politics, economy, culture, and tribulation, we recommend you to go here. There is still a lot of vital energy for humans there, especially those who greet visitors in the highest harmony.

Amazing staff and location! We stayed here the night before our hike to seoraksan! Super close, within 20-30min walk to the front gates of the park or you can take a bus with the stop right nearby! The staff was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The benches at the back by the river is also a nice feature! It was also a bonus if you get to meet their super sweet dog!

The place is run by a very sweet elderly lady who is very hospitable. It is an old building, very basic accommodation but clean with a cozy cabin feel. There's a deck by the river out the back to sip morning coffee looking at the scenery. We sat there on our last night with beer and makgeolli. The hot spring water for the area broke down while we're there and she took us to a hot spring bath. It turned out to be a great experience! Location is great, metres from the main road, bus stop and a row of restaurants and 24 hour convenience shop. I'll stay here again!
