Nice historic center that can be visited on foot in a couple of hours. The churches of San Vitor and San Vicente are beautiful with tiles inside, and especially the Misericordia Museum with its splendid baroque façade.

The historic center of Braga is truly charming! Its narrow streets, ancient buildings and rich architectural details convey a unique and captivating atmosphere. The careful preservation of historic heritage is admirable, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich history of this city. Furthermore, the welcoming feel of the squares and vibrant cultural life offer an enriching experience for anyone who visits. Braga truly transports us to another time, providing a fascinating journey through the past and local culture. It is a jewel that deserves to be appreciated and valued! 🏛️🌸🏰

Lovely Town/ City. Just a slow walk up from the railway station about 10 mins. Plenty of public places to sit and rest up. Then you walk through the arch and into a diner and shoppers paradise. Really nice atmosphere. Very little traffic so ideal for families. Big central square at the end of the main street a great place to relax and once again to people watch.

A city that you definitely have to see if you take a trip to Portugal is located to the north. It is the religious center of Portugal.

👍👍 Brief visit, but you don't get to see a first century AD fountain every day - I thought it was great!
