Definitely worth a visit, even in the winter where the flowers are not as tall as the summertime. The connection to the old city walls and the story behind it is worth to loon for ;)

It's not that the horticultural or landscape architectural aspects of the garden is distinct or amazing, it's how this little well-maintained garden, accessed free by all people in the city, adds to the laid-back cozy feeling of the city of Braga itself. The afternoon I was there it was after lunch lull, and a national holiday so people are out and about, kids riding bikes whipping past me in the narrow path, a cat was sunning itself in the flower bed, ... it is, like Portugal the country, the very picture of coziness.

Es ist einfach schön zum Verweilen. Leider ist es an einer etwas geschäftigen Passage. Nichtsdestotrotz wunderbare Gartenanlage im Herzen der Stadt.

Beautiful garden, full of very colorful flowers. Great place to take pictures or relax while drinking some coffee or eating dessert! Very well maintained. A very delightful gift for the eyes. Plants are rotated every season, so you'll always find a different garden than before.

A must go in Braga! It is situated in the historic center of Braga, near many tourist attractions, including the Braga Cathedral and the Arco da Porta Nova. If you are in Braga and want to experience a beautiful garden full of flowers and tranquility, Jardim de Santa Bárbara is definitely a place to visit.

Nothing all too special. Salad was brought without sauce so you had to make a sauce yourself with packaged oil and vinegar packets. Cucumber had a rather odd taste too. We didn't try the baked goods but they did look quite good.

Even in December there were roses blooming, and while very little else was in flower it's still a lovely space.
