Very nice Italian restaurant, good food and very good service

Simply superb food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended and a must try. The pasta with fresh truffle was amazing to taste and smell.

As other reviews mention, the food in Sottopiano is not worth its price. Imbalanced portions, average taste, pasta not cooked how you would expect it from a high-end Italian restaurant. We ordered pasta with spicy sausage and there was too much pasta. We ordered pannacotta and it was flooding in chocolate. The wine is quite good and we would like to mention Jona as he does a great work and is very friendly. We’d like to mention a terrible experience we had with someone on the phone the day before our reservation. We do not speak French and the person on the phone was annoyed by that and responded very rudely to our question. He didn’t even bother to understand us, just wanted to hang up. In my opinion this is unacceptable from a high-end restaurant.
