I brought my grandsons (5 and 9 years old) there one rainy afternoon. What a great idea, they loved it, especially the possibility of climbing into vehicles, playing driver, controller. Very surprised by all these antediluvian contraptions, full of questions about all these mysterious buttons, cranks, wheels, etc, etc, ... I was exhausted at the end, but it was worth it!

I love this place!! It is incredibly surprising. I was not expecting such great museum being in Liège! Beautiful trains, well maintained, and with a audio guide that explains everything! It is the best surprise I had lately, and it is worth to get more advertisement!!

Perfect for lovers of busses and trams! Went with 5 year old son last week and he had the time of his life 'driving' busses and trams. You get to climb aboard some lovely old (and not-so-old) vehicles for a very immersive experience . The lady at the ticket desk is absolutely delightful and very helpful.

Unsuspectedly entertaining museum for the kids, especially those interested to participate in pretend play. We visited this museum due to our boy’s interest in the various modes of transportation, which you can easily find here. From horse-drawn carriages to trams to buses… There was even a corner dedicated to art and craft for the little ones. The museum offered colourful papers, pens and scissors for the children to create and colour their paper 3D train. Yes, the information was only in French but with Google Translate, that language barrier was easily overcome. We had visited on a particularly warm Summer’s day and the staff were generous in offering free cold water to us. Super! An educational playground for the children (and adults) truly!

A great place to go if you chose to spend a few days in Liege or even on the way through. Very good and informative exhibition ranging back to the late XVIII century (with free audio-guides in a number of languages making up for displays in French only). About three dozen vehicles, you can enter around half of them to enjoy the inside or take the driver's seat. Easy to access by public transportation; a spacious parking lot available for those coming by car.

Very good find, and well worth the trip for those interested in 20th century public transport. A lot of the old trams and buses were available to get on and have a look round.

A nice collection of carriages, trams and busses from a distant past. Housed in a hangar, this beautiful and inspiring collection won't win any prizes for the "best" museum, but since the entrance prices are so reasonable it's worth giving it a shot. Super friendly people as well, and free tap water for the thirsty. I had a great time, good memories, some nice pictures, and I think I might even go back there.

A real treasure trove! Plenty to see and enjoy. And today, Tuesday, very few visitors. So glad I found it.

Alles in allem : unbedingt besuchen.

Great museum! Good display of public transport from the 19th century till present! However, there were many displays. It seemed limited, it would have interesting if there were more displays and of busses from various eras, and also from various regions of Belgium. Most of the displays were of busses from Liege!

Very interesting place to pay a visit there. Kids friendly environment and one can view life cycle of transportation starting from bicycle to motorbike to cars, buses, trams and what not. Staff is also arranging kids birthday parties. Visit recommended.

We went here on the first Sunday of the month since it's free entrance then. I would recommend it for younger kids, but my 6 year old enjoyed it very much. She liked seeing the history of the transport in Liège and it was very interesting for us adults too. The coolest part is that you can enter some of the old trams, buses and other transportation means and play inside s little bit. We quite liked it as a family outing and would recommend it to spend around 2 hours.

Thursday the 12th of May my great uncle and I visited this beautiful place. I would like to thank the people working there but especially the young lady who helped us out tremendously when my great uncle got into trouble with his diabetes. I forgot to ask her name but her help was lifesaving. We will come back in the near future to thank the staff again in person. Other than that, it is a beautiful place to visite with rich history, if you can’t speak/read the French language you can use google translate camera to translate all the information in the museum.
