A really good museum detailing the long and rich history of the Liege Area. Museum is tucked away on Place St Lambert. It is very affordable and the iPad makes everything easy to understand. Museum is free on Weekends but without iPad. Museum has many artifacts with English descriptions. Staff are friendly and are able to answer any questions you have. 💯 Recommend

Really nice, educational visit. Pretty short & not very comprehensive, at least with the videk guide on the tablets in English. Basically, for the amount of money paid, I would've expected more. Nevertheless, a pleasant experience that I'd recommend.

Fantastic archiologic museum underground escavations. All the way back ro roman and pre historic times.

Really interesting place to get to know more about the history of Liège. A good combination of exhibition, excavations and lot's of information. Entry is not expensive. 👍

Nice museum and very informative. There are not a lot of objects but the 3D virtual reconstructions are very cool. The price is 6 euros for adults.

Museum, was man gerne mal in ner halben Stunde durchgehen kann. Man bekommt Eindrücken von dem Platz, aber man kann seine Zeit auch anders investieren, aber durchaus interessant.

I went alone and thoroughly enjoyed myself. €6 was amongst the cheapest museum I visited. Definitely a learning tour without a lot of flashy exhibits but extremely interesting when you actual learn and realize what you’re looking at.

Brilliant place, complete underground archeological site

Spectacular archaeological site detailing the rich history of Liege. I thoroughly enjoyed how the various layers ranging from ancient history, Roman, Romanesque and Gothic were all so well interwoven to tell a rich tale of history and heritage. I do recommend this great place. I would just suggest that the entrance be made a bit more visible... Perhaps a banker outside the door?
