The food for dinner there was a catastrophe and the rooms are quite small, but for a school visit or something related to that it’s ok and has a great location so you can go everywhere by foot.

Stayed here for 1 night in dorm room 620. I arrived at 10am, too early for check-in, but it was okay to leave my bag in the locker and go out to do my one day in Liege. The staff spoke decent English and there were no problems checking in after I came back. You have to take your own sheets and make the bed yourself. The dorm was a six bed room and each guest has their own locker. The locker is narrow, but tall and should easily fit a medium sized bag, plus a couple of jackets. The bunk beds were the metal frame variety, but surprisingly sturdy and I was not at all disturbed by bunk mates moving around. Each bed has their own USB port, power socket and a personal light. There's a guard that covers the head area and does a good job of blocking out some of the light. The hostels provides Wifi, which worked really well in the room and in the common areas. The common rooms had a mixture of couches and desk tables, plus some games. I think there was a pool table, a table football and a ping pong table. There’s also a kitchen where you could do some cooking with a microwave, oven or cooker. Reasonable breakfast options and excellent for the price paid

It's pretty rare that I write a review about anything let alone accomodation but this has to be done. In need of a last minute get away I emailed the hostel who sorted me put in no time. On arrival I was greeted by super friendly welcoming staff, breakfast was great, bike storage was perfect for what I needed. The staff could not have been more helpful reletlessly putting up with my endless questions. Super clean, super friendly, super affordable. I absolutely can not recommend highly enough.

Klare Empfehlung meiner Seite

Absolutely loved staying here. Loved the view out of the windows. Bathrooms have separate showers of toilets and basins. Never had to wait to use any of the facilities. The four bed dorm rooms were super comfy, the double bunks were made of steel and don't move or make any noise. Each bed had a lockable locker. Super crisp clean white linen sheets and pillow cases. The facilities downstairs include quite a few comfy couches, tables and chairs, pool tables, bar to buy snacks and drinks, vending machine, and a communal kitchen if you want to cook. The breakfast is the best breakfast I have had in the whole trip in Belgium, and this is the 6th hostel I have stayed in. Loved staying here so much I even stayed longer. Very friendly and helpful staff.

An excellent ambience and an electric atmosphere, never makes one feel alone or away from home... The musical concerts in the evenings are an added attraction... A warm reception and a friendly staff is the icing on the cake...

Great Youth Hostel! Amazing building, with an old church and a nice intustrial style. They have a billard table and a foosball. The bar has a diverse variation of different and local drinks and good prices. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast has also a nice variation and good coffee.

Booked last minute as our other accommodation wasnt possible. Super friendly staff with a great common area and bar downstairs. We didn't use it too much but would 100% use the place again if staying in Liege with friends. In a nice part of town with plenty around including supermarket, coffee shops and loads of places to get food. 100% recommended if travelling with friends.

People working there are really nice. Place is clean and cool for party in company (with a piece far of rooms) and with ping pong table, baby foot. Be careful with hot water when you have a big group (150 people), we were few to have cold shower in the morning. Whereover heating was little too much

Opposite the central railway station, with easy access by car this place achieves an ambiance nicely in-between a hotel and hostel.

I would give 6 stars if I could! Thank you soon much for having us again. Children family elderly wheelchair user friendly. Absolutely recommend. Breakfast more than you would expect and vegan friendly options available.

Good hostel, very well located. Shared dorms are quite regular (bunk beds, lockers, be sure to bring a padlock) Security is good with magnetic locks on rooms, showers and corridors as well as street door. Breakfast included is nice. Kitchen is provided with anything you need, even oven and microwave. A lot of school kids were present due to a holiday week end probably so a bit noisy around common areas. Showers could be more clean, but is okay if you wear flip flops .

I stayed in Auberge de la Jeunesse twice (once in a 6-people room and last time on a private room) - it’s clean, comfortable, it’s got good and fast wi-fi and the staff is all really nice. The shared rooms are ok, I just think they could improve the shared restrooms and showers, there’s nowhere to hang your things or to get changed. Breakfast is really good and the hostel is well located in Liege. I’d totally recommend it to anyone.

No complaints! The hostel is in an old building but is modern, clean and fresh. It felt secure and staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and a decent variety, but not hot food. Location is ideal. Lots of stuff in immediate area, and only 5-10 minutes walk to city centre. Recommended 🤗

Big hostel housed in a cool space (attached to a cathedral?). It has a bar, ping pong tables, foosball, billiards. The breakfast was better than expected. Only downside was no one else hanging around to meet. Maybe not the best hostel for solo travelers

Not a good place to go with family. Though its conveniently located, lack of parking and ultra small rooms and food are not worth the price. We were advised tompark the car in the adjacent street and next morning we saw break-ins in more than 4 cars. Luckily our cars were safe. I won't go there again.

Overall good hostel, to me it's more a hotel then a hostel, because we had our own room. This place is targeted towards youth and it shows, very good atmosphere. Great English and French speaking staff (sometimes a little dutch). The room was quite good, although our toilet wasn't secured to the floor and it almost fell over if you sat on it. Good place for youth and for a good price

Good quality/price ratio, small rooms and not very comfortable beds. Diverse breakfast options. But overall a must if you're passing by Liège on a budget.

One of the Best hostels I stayed at. It has lockers, there's soap in the bathroom, nice staff, good location; only please put mirrors in the rooms and maybe add a bit of variety to your breakfast. Everything is clean

This hostel is great. Beds are comfortable and facilities are fine. There was an all you can eat breakfast included in our reservation and it was very good. There is a common room where you can meet other guests which is always cool. Tap and showers are automatic (i.e. they stop automatically after a certain period and you need to push the button again) in order to save water (eco-friendly purpose). But in fact, this is not Super eco-friendly as there is way more water leaking from the tap than what you need to wash your hands 🤨

Good hostel. I stayed there overnight for a excursion in the area. Not a broad variety of breakfast and dinner, but it is good. It's 10 minutes walking to the centre from the hostel. Rooms are small as one would expect from a hostel. Service is also real good and employees are really kind and helpful.

The HI Liège is awesome! Great modern hostel in a building with historic origins that can still be seen throughout the place, like the columns and arches in the lobby, or the beams on the top floor. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful, whether at the front desk, the bar or the kitchen. The lobby is a social hub, with great Belgian beers for sale, and they even have a guest kitchen if you just want to make your own supper instead of going out for dinner. The rooms have lots of power points for recharging and big lockers for your things. We had a great time there!

This hostel was a nice surprise. Clean modern room, friendly staff and a nice yard where you could hang out in the evening. Part of the hostel seemed to be an old monastery. The breakfast was quite basic but ok considering it was included in the price.

Facility: I found this youth hostel in a beautiful renovated monastery located about 35 minutes walking to the train station. Enjoyed a super nice concert in the courtyard on a Sunday evening. Service: The lady at the check-in was friendly and professional. The lady at the checkout was a bit cold. I would come back again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and restrooms. Good beds with sockets and usb. Nice breakfast. Lively at night but couldn't hear anything from the room. Not too expensive. Would visit again!

Very good Youth Hostel with a spacy private room including WC and shower. Comfortable new beds, but towels are not included in the price of the accommodation. Helpful and kind staff, very plentiful and delicious breakfast, smart location in the city. Comfortable new beds, but towels are not included in the price of the accommodation.
