Ok, I book this "hotel" quite in a hurry, because I have to cancel my other booking due to check in hours problems, so I don't really check the location thoroughly before choosing. Anyway, the reviews are quite good, the photos seem nice, and the position basically in the center of Liege sells it. I arrive there at around 11.30 pm, the guy at the reception is really nice and I check in quite fast. I take my luggage, go to the elevator (my room is on the 3rd floor), convince the elevator button that I really want to go to the 3rd floor, and finally arrive at my room. The place is quite crumpled, by the way. I enter the room, expecting a nice, small room with the bathroom, same as always, but instead I somehow go inside what looks like a roulotte: the room is there, the beds are there, but there's absolutely no space whatsoever to place anything, from clothes to, well, a matchstick. And the bathroom is there. As in "THERE" . as in "INSIDE THE ROOM" . The bathroom is a plastic box placed inside the room. And it has no ceiling, it's literally opened on the top. I took a shower and the entire room became steamy. Unbelievable. Now, the room is clean enough, and the beds are comfortable, but I really can't have a bathroom so small, and crumpled, and inside the room. If I wanted to go camping I would have rented a camper. And this information is not present anywhere. I won't suggest this hotel and I surely won't come back.

Good location. Friendly personal. It's ok for one night. I would say it's more bed and breakfast then hotel. Nothing else good.

The location is perfect/in the centre of Liège 👌They have a closed garage if you reserve a place for your car (10€ per night) at first. This is really luxury: so you can walk easily to every restaurant/shop/spot in this very crowded city everyday 👍 Breakfast costs 10€ which is easy for yourself every morning. They give you a pancake as an extra 😄 My room was okay, parking my roadbike in my room was allowed. I promised to keep the room clean with that 👍 The man said to me: you may sleep with your bike hahaha 😂 he was so funny! (elevator is in this hotel) The double bed felt good, the bathroom was small, but you should realize this is a small cozy/lovely "warm" hotel. I got the feeling that I was in Paris ❤️ Especially everybody in this region Wallonia speak French. And this hotel is run by a family 24/7. The front door is closed, means high safety for the hotel guests 💪 Ring their bell if you want to come in. Extra impression: their daughter is doing the work/service for you with her heart, with her beautiful smile everytime. In Dutch 🇳🇱 we say: "ze doet het werk met liefde". On the last day I went to the centre and bought the famous waffles, which I gave it to her/them when I finally... left the hotel, going back to Amsterdam. *impressed* Yee Tak Lam

We stayed in a twin room. I wouldn't name this place a hotel. The toilette and shower both in a 2x1 cube with no separate ventilation and a sliding door ( so it doesnt even close properly). It is so small you cannot move in it without hitting your head or sth. The bed was also really narrow and uncomfortable. It was definitely not worth the price we paid (80 euro per night!!).

This is a hotel run by a local family. Secure covered parking garage in the city centre. Even the luxury hotels don't have this. Very calm location off the main streets. Theatres nearby. Reception is day and night occupied by family members

Overall: basic, but sufficient + clean towels every day + location is at the start of the centre (in between centre and station) + balcony - room was a non-smoking room, but the whole building smelled like sigarettes.

Good service and nice location. Friendly staff! Unfortunately the single rooms is like a bunker and the breakfast is very limited.

Für 47 Euro ein No Go.

TLDR: Neither the Area, nor the room is and feels safe, rotten walls and thin doors not worth the money! The first thing we noticed was the surrounding area. I immediately thought to myself that I would not be comfortable with me or my girlfriend being alone out in the dark. Not even the two of us together felt safe at around 7pm, when we arrived. The hotel as a whole smelled really bad and our room which was at the highest floor did too... Even worse. It was so hot in our room that we immediately started sweating and there was just a fan to cool a little bit down. The fan however sounded broken and was so loud, we switched it off after 2 Minutes. The door seperating our room from the hallway was as thin as paper and everyone who knew a bit of how to break in could have opened that door with ease. The other one that led to the "balcony" didnt close without having to lock it and the balcony itself was horrible. The tiles on the floor moved as we... climed out i want to say(it was 20cm higher that the rest of the room and the door couldn't be fully opened bc. Of random chairs...) and the walls were clearly rotting from the outside, it was disgusting. The thing that sealed the deal for us was the connected balcony that didnt belong to the hotel. These two were not seperated at all and we were scared somebody could climb onto our balcony at night. In the end we stayed at the nearby IBIS Hotel which was great!

Beautiful old building. Clean, fresh rooms with comfortable beds. High ceilings, very charming. The staff were very friendly and put out a great breakfast spread. There's also a cat who hangs around the lobby!
