We stayed here for 3 nights, whilst cycling in and around the area. A hidden gem of a site - with a great relaxed vibe. We had pizza on the Saturday, which were amazing. A good selection of drinks were available to buy also - at very reasonable prices. There was a small queue on the Saturday for showers, but there was always a plentiful supply of hot water. Really worth the visit if you are staying in and around the area - if only for the beers!! Esnaux is not too far - a short ride away on the bike path, and there is an artisan bakery nearby (though sadly they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays)

A very quiet site, lovely friendly host. Great beer garden with free WiFi. Showers not the best but hey ho the water was hot, so not an issue. It was so hot when we chose to go to this site and the pitches under the cooling trees were very welcome. If you like to walk or cycle then this site is ideal, if you want lively then you will be disappointed . River at back of site where fishing is possible xx personally I loved it here xx

Beautiful camping. Great atmosphere. Situated right next to the Ourthe with magical pebbly riversides. Owners really go out on a limb to help you out with local stuff. Highly recommended.

On their website it says "We always have room on the hiker’s field for hikers & bikers on the road". That wasn't the case for us, because we had a car parked OUTSIDE of the camp site. We were still hiking tho and it wouldn't have made any difference for them, but she didn't care much. Very disappointing.

Wonderful small campground, the sites are a great price, I paid €10 for one person for one night. The camping area is spacious and even with 10 tents we weren’t on top of each other and had lots of room. They have strong fast Wi-Fi, hot showers, and a dish washing area in addition to the kitchen and beer garden. They also had vegan pizzas for sale which is a nice option.

Very nice places and very friendly staff. Clean sanitary facilities and showers with warm water. Pizzas are made at the campsite and are good. Dogs are welcome. Gladly again. Thanks

Nice campsite located by the river. Very friendly and clean sanitary facilities that look very new. In the evening there is delicious pizza and drinks. There is a very good baker not far. The places are nice and big. Very quiet place, we would like to come back again

A really good find. Top hosts, great location, really nice bar, and a laid back feel about it. We stayed for 2 nights and left our vehicle there while cycling around the Ardennes. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Best camping in the area. We arrived during a fairly quiet and cold period with our backpacks. At the reception they had a fire going which was wonderful. One can also order a few basics: beer, pizza etc. Toilets and showers were clean and the water was HOT :) ... The owners are friendly and warm and the camping is neat!

Stayed at one of the two tent fields for one night; nice camping, friendly owners/staff, and there is a small bar on the camping where you can buy drinks and (I think) pizza. The tent fields are large, but with very little sun because of all the trees. The sanitary facilities look a bit like a DIY project, but were clean when I visited.

Nice campsite by the river. A bit expensive in high season. €27.50 for 2 people per night is a bit steep. Most expensive place on our trip so far. Contrary to many comments, we didn't like the pizza at all. Looked like a ready-made frozen pizza. We have experienced much better for the price.

A very relaxed and basic campsite. Friendly atmosphere. The cleanest showers I've seen on my month long trip across Western Europe.

A beautiful alternative nature campsite that attracts a lot of cyclists and tent campers. That creates a nice atmosphere. There was a really tasty pizza. We would love to come back to the beautiful river valley

What a wonderful campsite. Due to a van beak-down we had to change plans and arrived without a booking and thank goodness they could squeeze us in. Hats off to the lovely owners who only a year after devastating flooding in the area have created a relaxing space with lots of really lovely touches: Herb garden, chickens, bar, Fresh Pizza and excellent washroom facilities. We loved it so much we begged for a second night!

Although Camping les Murets is only just past Liège, you have the real Ardennes feeling here. The area is very nice for walking, you can leave immediately from the campsite. The Ourthe is nearby! The site itself is very quiet, the pitches are spacious and separated by shrubs and hedges. The friendly owners, the available comfort (sanitary blocks, water, electricity) and the canteen where you can order delicious pizzas, the bakery in the village nearby are all big plus points. Very nice camping spot!

Nice camp spots with lots of trees. Location is easy to reach with train. Fence between river and campsite is appreciated for the kids but could be made safer. Kids corner could improve. Price is 7,5€ pp and babies pay too, whatever the price list says. You can make a campfire at your own spot 😊 Cross the little pedestrian bridge over the river and you can make a nice walk along the river to Esneux!

Friendly people. Nice pitches with tall trees. Only three bathrooms for women for the whole camping and not really clean. I think if they take care of sanitary service, it becomes a better place.

Quiet, spacious, relaxing campsite with fantastic hosts and amazing location, next to the Oorte river with plenty of options for activities. We especially loved the chill vibe from our fellow campers and the beautiful view of the forested cliffside that faced our tent. Plenty of space to chill around, play football, free to take a chair and sit next to your tent, or order pizza+beer from the in-house cafeteria! One of the highlights is the very tiny and pretty Hony train station that you have to get off at when coming here from Liege - make sure to get off the train on time!

great place with friendly owners, bar and they make pizzas aswell, . you wouldnt think that only a year ago they were devastated by flooding, still no one living in the houses down the road where they are, not riverside anyway, but they have made a great job of fixing everything up and anyone staying are now sorted. so its now a work in progress for quite a while longer to make things even better. well done. regards keith and marilyn

First site on our Tour de France... In Belgium still 😁. It eas a good choice and we should have stayed a bit longer. Relaxed. That's the best one word description for this site. Adorable!

My girlfriend and I were passing through on bicycles. This is a very nice, family owned camp ground. Not fancy but It's quiet and laid back, not some corporate owned camp where everyone is squished together. Liesbeth was super friendly and made us feel very welcome when we arrived. They have drinks and pizza for sale. If we were passing through again we would definitely stay again.
