Oh i loved this place. Fantastic food and fantastic service. Decently priced menu. Two thumbs up to the business owner who has trained the entire staff so well. Kudos to Asif bhai 👍🏻 Special mention about Adhir. He said he's working here for the last 19 years and he works like he belongs to this place. He served us very well. Do look up for him. You will be happy ✌🏻 👌🏻The cutlery is nice and clean unlike many other big names in this line. 👌🏻 They don't charge for onion salad and give a huge serving. 👌🏻 The firni here is THE BEST in Calcutta 👌🏻 The naan and roti come so hot and nice 8 can't tell you.. Guys do visit this place, trust me you will love the food. And i am assuring you based on my experience, even if there is anything that you don't like, just mention it to them and they will set it right for you. Keep up the good work Asif bhai. Hats off to you 🫡

Located at Car Bazaar, Sanjha Chulha - 88 Uttar Panchanna Gram, Opp, Kolkata, West Bengal 700100, Sanjha Chulha is the place for Punjabi cuisine and tandoori delicacies. It is spacious-a 135-seater spread over two sections (Indian and Chinese, though the two are hardly exclusive) with smart, contemporary interiors (the place received a face-lift a few years ago) and efficient service. Food is tasty. Go to the Pind on the first floor for dining with family. Panner shaslik, pahari kebab and methi malai kebabs are good. Try their various parathas. Try the chicken pahadi kabab, the deliciously spicy Lahori Kheema, is best paired with flaky lachha parathas. The Chinese menu more or less sticks to the familiar and bankable, chilli chicken-fried rice routine, but the Indian items are clearly their strong suit.

Decades of culture and lineage, preserved over years and presented on a platter, Mandi is more than a piece of history designed and gifted to you right infront of your eyes. Having said that it originated from Yemen and claimed to be its national dish, Mandi derives its name from the dewy texture of the meat, also referred to as 'Nada' in Arabic. Cooked in a hermetically sealed pot with an added layer of dough to trap the heat, the meat is usually placed on top of the parboiled rice, to let the juices flow through the grands which is then ultimately mixed before serving. Slowly cooked over hours underground in something known as 'Tanoor' or a furnace, the main flavours is derived from the Yemeni all spice mix, which is otherwise known as 'Hawaij'. The furnace acts as a pressure cooker, trapping the steam to slowly cook the chicken resulting in a melt in the mouth texture. Having already been popular in Hyderabad and the Malabar regions, the concept of Mandi is slowly making waves into the city of Joy and what better to present it than by giving the people of Kolkata a scrumptious Fish Mandi. Whole Bhetki served on a bed of rice pilaf, Zatar fries, pickled vegetables and two curries as accompaniments, there is no better way to celebrate the very essence of 'Sanjha Chulha' than by indulging into the wonderful Mandi thali. Also available Murg Mandi, Raan Mandi and Paneer Mandi, one can avail a single portion for individual orders. The best however, comes when you walk with your loved ones, a group of friends or with your family, and share a plate of this Middle Eastern legend and cherish the greatness of love and sharing topped up with spices. #mandi #sanjhachulha #mahimandi #whenstomachtickles

Nestled at EM Bypass near to Science City, Sanjha Chulha is a hidden gem that beckons all seekers of authentic😎 flavors. This quaint dhaba has garnered a reputation for much more than just its tantalizing cuisine😍. Recently, they've introduced a new star attraction - Mandis. I tried the fish mandi & it was simply mind blowing 🤩. The rustic charm of this place transports you to a bygone era, where time slows down, and the warmth of the staff adds to the experience😁. Amidst the aromatic wafts from the kitchen, you'll find an impressive variety of mocktails❤️. These concoctions are a delightful escape from the sweltering heat, blending refreshing flavors that complement the traditional ambiance.🔥 Whether you're a culinary adventurer or simply seeking respite from the ordinary, Sanjha Chulha's Mandis and mocktails promise an unforgettable experience with some amazing hospitality🤩❤️🔥.

Went in for Lunch on Panchami 2021. It was not crowded even when we left and probably the 2nd group that entered Sanjha Chulha. Ordered, Starters: Malai Kebab (7/10): Uneven chicken pieces. Some are big most are small. 2 big and 4 small pieces. Tasted pretty good. Kasturi Kebab(8/10): The pieces were still better than the malai ones. Tasted better, low on spiciness. Mutton Sheekh Kebab (10/10): A Must try, 4 pieces, serves 2 of there are no other starters. Good size and delicious. Mains: Keema Kulcha (9/10): Good size, served hot and very good filling. Must try, tastes exemplary! Butter Chicken (8/10): Some of the good ones I've tasted. Worth every penny. Succulent, juicy pieces and the chicken was fresh. Gravy was delicious Chicken Bharta (5/10): Not worth the price at all. If you're getting butter chicken or any other starters, this won't impress you. Biryani (7/10): A decent biryani, expected better from Sanjha Chulha though. Lime Soda/Soda Sikanjee(6/10): Not worth Rs 95. Just gets the work done, flushing everything down.

Located at EM bypass. But as far as menu is concerned, the restaurant has got limited options. We had ordered Chicken Tandoori Classic, Drums of heaven and Mutton Biryani.Ouy of which Tandoori and Drums of heaven taste ok though not outstanding. But the worst part is Mutton Biryani. The taste and the size of the mutton do not justify the price.Hardly they gave 60 - 80gm size mutton, whereas other standard restaurants will provide minimum 125-150gm pieces.

On EM Bypass, at EM Bypass at Panchannagram stoppage between Science City and Ruby crossing, this is one of the oldest running restaurants on this stretch. We ordered * Angaara Chicken Tandoori * Butter Naan * Keema Matar * Changezi Chicken The Angaara Chicken Tandoori is a peppery version of Chicken Tandoori and is delicious. The Keema Matar goes well with Naans and the Chicken Changezi is a slightly spicy red rich gravy with kasoori methi tones. Overall, a good place to visit.

I was here yesterday for Lunch at Sanjha Chulha after a long time. Special Mention of the Fish Mandi priced at Rs. 1700 /- which boasts of absolutely one of the best Fish Tandoor Preparations one can have. Sheer Delight ! How can we forget What Sanjha Chulha is famous for, Their Kebabs. The Murgh Kasturi Kebab was one of the finest and me being not a Sheekh lover was amazed by how well the Mutton Sheekhs were. One Might Think, im actually saying good stuff about everything, But it actually was so. Even the Blue Margherita Mocktail they served was a Melody of Blue Curacao and Litchi which i havent found Anywhere else yet. The Halwa - Let me not say anything about this, One should go and try this out themselves. THAT GOOD 🙈 Im thankful that such a Brand actually Exists which has not only maintained its standard for years, but Evolved.

The Arabic cuisIne Mandi gives your diet a huge protein boosted. It's a special blend of spices, cooked in a pit underground. It is popular and commonly consumed in most areas of the Arabian Peninsula, and even considered a staple dish in many regions. Visit Sanjha Chulha kolkata and have a great time with your special people. And try Fish Mandi because it’s delicious.

When we entered there must be a person who can assist the guest or welcome the guest. There was no one came to provide menu for more than 10 mnts and also no one was coming to take the order after giving order mutton biryani which is prepared dish that took 20 minutes to delivered. Let's come to the taste it was terrible so much salt in biryani mutton piece not cooked well and potato as well. We ordered hakka noddles mix that is good but when we asked for another fork that was provided dirty not cleaned properly overall horrible experience not recommended.

Ambience is good. Then quality and quantity of the food is also fine and tastes good. But the price is one the higher side. You have parking in front. And its on bypass road so late night transportation is not an issue. Overall a good place to hangout 😉

One of the worst restaurants experienced in recent times. Below average food quality, poor and inadequate seating arrangement and extremely high price. Sheer wastage of money and time. Better you throw away your money ghan spending here.
