Overall it’s a nice place for dine in. Good food good music and great ambience. We ordered a chicken slider, barbecue chicken pizza and a tex Ned bowl which is usually a Mexican rice bowl & orange juice. The food was really good, and fast service. They have indoor and outdoor seating, make sure to call ahead and make a reservation for the outdoor seating.

Nice place with good food. It was pretty empty at Friday lunch so no waiting time. Tried the guacamole toast which was okay. I felt the lemon was a bit over powering. We also took the pan fried bhetki which was good and had a mild flavor profile. They had a nice cocktail menu but may be for another day.

You can go just for the drinks. Service is very lax,we waited for a good 30-40 minutes before anyone came to take our order,that too we had to call them,and we went at a very lean time too. They are charging 10% for service, shouldn't they maintain basic standards. Considering the atmosphere is great,the food is decent,the drinks exquisite,the service is what leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Can't say I will visit again,or will recommend to anyone else either.

We had a Corporate Event at their open terrace place along with the bar area where we had a presentation.. The restaurant gives a wonderful view to Kolkata city in the evening especially in winters.. The restaurant gives a peaceful vibe with good music around and minimalist lighting.. The food was great especially the amazing starters and the main course was also delicious and mouthwatering.. The service of the people should be appreciated as they were on the toes once from the start of the event.. Be it a technician, the bar attendant and the GSAs.. It was well managed by their team and eventually resulted in a successful event..

Great place in terms of both ambience and food. We had shikanji, chicken and cheddar sliders, grilled pizza, cheese croquettes and belgian tart. Food is super delicious! Just did not get the outdoor seating as there was a private party going on. Rest no complaints! Will visit this place again and again. ☺

If you want to experience "the epitome of bad service", give this place a visit. The ambiance is really good and I guess that is about it. The staff is not trained or I don't know what if they are reluctant to serve. We had ordered cappuccino, the salt house shikanji, jalapeño and bell pepper pizza. Only the cappuccino was good. The pizza was extremely disappointing, it simply lacked any taste. And the crust, the less I say, the better. Since the pizza was horrific and we were hungry we ordered a thyme and parmesan cream pasta. We waited for eternity and when we asked the server for the pasta, they were clueless. So, after a good 40-50 mins nothing. And they don't even have the basic sense to apologize for the horrible service. And after such a terrible terrible service, they have the audacity to levy a service charge of 10%. If you have enormous patience and want mediocre food, you can visit this place solely for the ambiance. Otherwise, give this one a miss and try the plenty of different options available in and around Camac Street or Park Street.

Kolkata needs more of such amazing restaurants with bold chefs who are ready to be adventurous and take risks. While their italian and american dishes are amazing, what sets this place apart is a world class chef and their ever-changing fusion menu. I have never had a Bengali-Italian fusion that has kept true to both its roots. I know I’ll keep going back just to keep myself in touch with their menu.

Best restaurant to visit in kolkata. I went to Kolkata for first time and it was amazing experience. Must try there special dish I don't remember it's name it was smashed potatoes and chicken. Amazing dish. Everything was tasty. And ambiance was amazing. I have added pic of that particular dish to help others. You can show them and order. Must try.

I recently dined at The Salt House and was impressed by the creativity of the menu. Unfortunately, while the food was good, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The flavors were decent, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. What really detracted from the experience, however, was the high price point. The portions were on the small side, and I didn't feel like I got good value for my money. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, but the service was a bit slow and inattentive at times. Overall, while The Salt House has potential, I'm not sure I would be willing to pay such a steep price for a meal that was just okay.

Great location and the typical modern ambience of dark interiors. Be cautious because their starters are minuscule, as are the special mocktails served in slender champagne tulips. The mains are hearty - both in portion size and taste. The Salt House has an interesting menu which should be explored over time. Reasonably good service.

Best Italian restaurant in Kolkata, the place is on the expensive side but the quality of the food is very good. Their ravioli and pasta was very excellent. The place is beautiful as well, they have a outdoor area where small gathering and parties are organised.

The ambience is nice the staffs are also well behaved but certain food items need to worked upon because we are paying you so much and if it’s not worth it I guess we shouldn’t go here.

There are both open air and inside sitting arrangement. Atmosphere is cool and staffs are cooperative. BBQ chicken pizza is awesome. Carbonara pasta is equally good. Soup with Kolkata Bun Cha is good and stands different from similar recipe of others.

Absolutely in love with this place. I went here to dine with my friends. It's a perfect place to bring your family. Food is just out-of-this-world. And so are the cocktails. You might feel a slight pinch in your pocket but at the end, you'll not regret it. Ambiance is great and service is amazing.

Sharing a pathetic and terrible experience! My daughter and son in law had ordered a gift hamper to be delivered on 03 Nov 21 (choti Diwali). The product was delivered absolutely loose without any cover and in a broken tray. Additionally, no care concern and protocol for Covid. And worst of all, a beautiful message sent by the kids to be delivered along with the hamper was also not delivered. The same was posted on WhatsApp only yesterday (after 2 days) after threatening to go public on social media. The product too was absolutely substandard and rubbish. Essentially, below average bakery stuff, that one always discards even in 5 star restaurants. Request avoid this joint for gifts etc as they are substandard on all accounts. And as such they have nothing much to offer except ordinary bakery stuff, which as per the latest reports are carcinogenic and should be avoided at all costs. A terrible and pathetic experience to say the least!

This was my second visit, and they have maintained the taste and quality of food. The place is divided in an open air section, a family dine in zone and a shisha zone. The Spinach and Ricotta Cheese Ravioli is my absolute favourite.
