A relaxing environment by the sea. Good selection of drinks and decent food. The sound system's audio quality leaves much to be desired ... Feels like listening to a scratched record.

I absolutely LOVE the Royal Brunei Yacht Club. One must have a membership to go there or be signed in by members. I am very blessed to have friends who are members that take me there. The food is delicious. The menu extensive. Gorgeous pool, gardens and ocean view. I cant wait to go back. I have been there twice already. The latest trip early October 2018.

This is members only and you need to be sponsored by a member to join. Most of the expat communities will have someone who'll be able to offer access for the three guest visits allowed. After that it is $80/mth plus food and drink. A great place to come with your family. Reasonable sized single depth pool for light exercise and a paddling pool undercover for the little ones. The food is great too and while more expensive than the local eateries, it is still good value. On site parking and boat storage facilities are offered when space is available and there are often courses run to introduce people to sailing. Social evenings are held at a reasonably regular basis and there are reciprocal arrangements with other Clubs in Brunei so you can utilise their facilities under the same membership.

I went as a guest - for lunch. There is a nice large boat yard, a smallish swimming pool and a pleasant restaurant with an enormous menu. We had burgers, chips and salad, which were very nice and also reasonably priced. N.B. Only members can pay for food and drink (everything goes on your account) so you cannot pay with cash. A nice place to go. 😀

The view may have deteriorated, but it's still the go-to place for Western immigrants to Brunei. Decent food, decent service.

Great place the Royal Brunei Yacht Club! Great place in Brunei to hang out for an afternoon meal or evening tea. Nice pool but, can be crowded more often than not.

Still serving the best carpet bag steak after all these years. Chef Theng and his team somehow managed to maintain the quality of the food they come out with. 1 of the "must eat here" venue each time we visit BSB. Also a relax place to chill.

Had a fabulous 12 days anchored outside RBYC recently. Great holding in sheltered harbour. Great amenities for $5/day - pool, washing machine, water, showers, toilets, restaurant. The food is really nice here. Staff are very helpful, efficient and always with a smile. Use ehail Dart to get into the local town of Muara with mini mart, bank, fuel and good Thai. We hired a car for 7 days and easily got around to some beautiful places. Great country and great yacht club. Don’t miss it.
