I really enjoyed having diving classes, watersports and staycations with Poni Divers. The activities they provide are fun and quite affordable. Visit them on their Instagram page @ponidivers for more information. They are located in the same building as nurwanita Thai restaurant. There are parkings in front where the wooden stalls are. When doing watersports here, there is an outdoor and indoor shower area and a toilet for you to change. The downside is that they do sometimes forget bookings or reply slow. So I recommend confirming again with them to avoid disappointment. Everyone there is really friendly and helpful.

Really fun diving experience with Poni Divers. Brunei is one of the best places to try and explore wreck diving; 2 days of diving (3 dives each day) but still couldn't finish exploring all the wrecks! The corals and reef are super healthy, and they throve really well inside the wreck as well; compared to overly touristy places. You can dive through some of the wrecks and see the cabins inside, the experience was amazing.

Everything was perfect. Clear and fast communication via Whatsapp, friendly staff, good equipment, nice facilities and airport pickup was on time. And thanks Seb for the great dives!

My dive buddy and I spent a week at Poni Divers and Homestay. The homestay is nice enough with very friendly staff and decent amenities. The administrative/ operation part of the dive shop is disappointing at best and downright awful at worst. They also attempted to overcharge us for cancelled dives based on refund policies that were unusual AND not disclosed at booking --Accommodations: clean living room, bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom. Several food places and corner stores in short walking distance. Yani, the main homestay staff, was super friendly and sweet to us the whole time. Several of the dive shop staff clearly tried their best to give us a good experience as well. These folks are the reason I'm giving any stars at all. --Diving ops: frankly maybe the worst dive ops my buddy and I have experienced across our 1000+ accumulated dives. Booking was an ordeal: we had to ping multiple times to get answers to only half of our questions. Then when we're there, we'd be told to wake up and be ready for breakfast and immediate diving at 6am, only to wait over an hour for it (with no warning), leading to late departure for the whole boat. Communication seemed poor all around: staff being told the wrong time to show up, forgetting to book nitrox, "surprise" customers because booking office forgot to tell the dive shop. The list goes on. It's worth pointing out that the dive shop insisted on full payment on dives that they cancelled because of weather, stating a "no refund" policy not on their website or disclosed to us at booking. They also tried to substitute low quality city tours for cancelled dives and wanted to charge premium for basically a taxi drive around the city. We were able to negotiate a settlement but only because we knew from our experience this is an unusual refund policy (they at first tried to tell us this is what all dive shops did). I imagine they were able to charge many other divers before and after this. They also offered us a free diving voucher but haven't sent after many weeks and a reminder. --Diving experience: we had terrible weather the whole time, but were able to enjoy a couple of dives: beautiful swim throughs, huge schools of barracudas and fusiliers, and dark, atmospheric chambers on the wrecks. Brunei is absolutely worth diving in, but maybe check out the other dive shop instead

Had a very mixed experience with Poni Divers. I booked a package including 2 days of diving, a nitrox course and homestay. Let's start with the positive, the homestay caretaker was lovely and so was the dive instructor and skipper at Poni Divers. However, the admin side was pretty poorly handled. When booking, the person in charge would repeatedly promise to get back to me and then didn't, and I had to continuously nudge the person. Despite clearly stating which activities I was and wasn't interested in when reaching out, I was still sent various 'deals/offers' those included. I was also told my nitrox course would be a full day in-person course, and it barely lasted half a day, thus adding an unnecessary day to my stay in Brunei. The dive shop itself was also not well-managed with staff turning up late and then most of them standing passively aound, and thus delaying dives. One morning, we were supposed to start diving at 7:30am and thus be at the dive shop at 7:10am. The majority of the staff however didn't show up until after 7:30am, one diver hadn't been told about the earlier start by the staff and thus came late too, and the boat only set off around 8:30am :( Then there's the financial side of the experience. This ended up being the most expensive and poorest value diving I've had in Asia. I first pay 400RM extra to the originally quoted price cause PD uses a fixed high conversion rate from RM to Brunei dollars, and then one diving day (3 dives) got cancelled due to bad weather (not their fault) and I only got a pitiful amount refunded. It was apparently in the T&C for the package that I hadn't received and therefore hadn't agreed to. Again, poor admin management to not send the T&C, not present a clear price overview and then still enforce it upon a client. Lastly, when the diving was cancelled, they tried to compensate with a city tour (much lower value than diving), but the tour wasn't presented as an option, we were just informed it was happening and that we were going. I had already visited all the sites included in the city tour, and therefore declined the tour.

Booked the Discover Scuba Diving course. They forgot my booking so my friend and I showed up for no reason. No refunds accepted even under this circumstance, told to come back another time (which is very difficult due to work and timing with friend as we were on leave in the first place). Will update my review if I actually managed to do the activity. Really disappointing. *Update* Managed to finally get the course done. Will recommend to remind them of your booking the day before to avoid disappointment.

안전교육 잠깐 받고, 구명조끼, 스노클, 오리발 차고 약 20분? 정도 보트타고 돌섬까지 가서 스노클링 즐기고, 다른 섬에 들어가서 밥먹고 돌아오는 코스. 브루나이 왔으면 한번은 들어가야죠.

Lodging was fantastic. Most valuable for money by far from all my diving experience! it is a proper house! Sleeping room, living room, kitchen, etc! Dive equipment were well taken care of, 100% MARES. Staffs were friendly and love sharing experience. However, we have 1 major disappointment due to one of the diver had to head back home for a non emergency reason, Dive Master made the call to cancel our last dive of the day. I mean, 4 divers have to head back because of 1 diver rushing for time? Kinda unfair. =( Was it a bad call? On the up side, we were not charged for that dive and were given free dive rental for that day, but we flew all the way from Singapore to explore Brunei's water. So it was a huge disappointment for missed opportunity.

Oh.....Amazing diving trip in Brunei with Poni Divers. Accommodation in Poni Homestay was comfortable with all essentials available to make you "feel like home". The 3-dive per day activities are the best so far; it was beyond my expectations; good visibility, calm sea and the dive sites are full of living sea creatures - school of fishes, sae fans, lion fish and beautiful soft corals etc etc. Possible to do a "swim through penetration" if your buoyancy is well-managed. ( can be a challenge ) Appreciate very much for the great services provided by the crew. Cheers!! These wrecks were incredible "it is just like "enjoying the freshness of the underwater park!!" For those have not been to Brunei before, you should just need to experience for yourself. Poni Divers is highly recommended for their impeccable services and highly skilled dive team ( Bo and Jo) & its boat Captain. Rick Wong

We had a wonderful time learning under Mac for our IANTD Intro to Tec + Advanced Nitrox course. Throughout the course, Mac has been patient and shared his knowledge in diving and the wrecks. He was also quick to respond during dives and pool practice in times of need (thanks Mac!). The wrecks have been surreal and huge, covering only a small fraction each time we dive. Great customer service and very smooth arrangements throughout our stay (thanks Shasha 🙏) Thanks Poni Divers for creating such a memorable time for us!

Me and my friends tried out watersports activities in Poni Divers Serasa. A very fun afternoon playing jetski, banana boat and bandwagon. Theres also a place for us to grill our BBQ and nice place for our family to hangout. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back again for more!

I dived with Poni Divers 5-8 August 2022. They exceeded my expectations again, after many years of diving with them. Poni honored the promotion dive package sold 2 years ago, before the pandemic hit. Poni put divers' safety & interest on top priority. They took us out to sea but didn't hesitate to call the dives due to choppy seas & did not charge us for the cancelled dives. The next day when we can dive, they sent 3 dive guides + 2 boatman to serve us: 5 divers. Poni Team are warm & professional & they did their utmost to please us divers & make our diving experience wonderful & memorable. Also, Poni Homestay was renovated & is as pleasant & comfy as always. I would be back for more!

Really enjoyed the dive session yesterday! Perfect weather, amazing sites with lots of fish/corals, nice group, Bo (our guide) was really helpful n made sure we were all safe n okay throughout the dives..
